has a good record in the Khazakstan league, which is a pretty corrupt league and way below our league level, Gassama is a much better LW, and i'd even say Curtis if given the chance would turn into a better home grown talent, we should be focusing on a natural RW, another position we have been lacking in for too long, only Cerny who we could not afford - nor did he want to stay at Rangers has stood out in recent years.
Cortes should have been given a full season as RW it's his best position as his pre Rangers form proves, lad was never a LW although he can cover there, he is a gifted RW and needed games, not punted out the minute we bought him, don't even think he is getting games where we loaned him out, and in my opinion has way more potential than Antman, who has a decent assist record, but not a consistent enough goal scorer, flaps to much when opposition defenders start closing him down, instead of using some ball trickery and cutting through to take the shot, he just shells up and gets easily dispossessed.
The most potent front 3 we own and should be playing right now
as 1st choice is
LW - Gassama
CF - Danilo
RW - Cortes
Those 3 have the speed and skills to hurt defences and score goals but we have not even tried that combination yet.

Danilo will never be our number 1 either. I get the fans love him I do too but he's just not got it to be our number 9. we are struggling to get a striker on the park that gets into the space/channels to get shots away. today it was hit on the head we have no one.

Of Course John2575, i'm well aware Cortes isn;t in our squad, why we loaned out a player that is perfectly suited to RW and a bigger goal threat Than Antman will ever be, makes no sense to me.
not like we are dominating the league with a RW who had 1 good game then melted away to nothing, while we paid 5 mill for a guy that has far more potential and then punted him oot first chance we go,
apparently to develop his skills, problem with that is he isn't being played much if at all where he went on loan, going to be a massive help to his confidence and form re discovery that loan, especially after his long term injury lay off.

LH Cortez is crap. He's not better than Antman mate. That's as far fetched as I've heard.
His loan club have indicated they want to return him in January. That's how good he is.
