Never realised Meghoma was only 19yo.
I had thought maybe look elsewhere but if it's true that we can get him for £5m then I think that could be a very smart move.

Yeah don't know about 5 mil, but I liked the way both him and Cornelius were covering for each other when one lost the ball the other one was sweeping up behind. They are certainly the best we have down the left side.

To be fair to you mystar he has looked better in last few games, more aggressive yesterday against the winger which I liked but still a fair bit to go before we should be looking to buy him for that figure.

If we have £5 million to spend on a left back let's spend it one who can actually play there and that we don't have to reorganise the defence to cover for him. No harm to the boy but he's certainly not what we need right now. We need to spend any money we do have on proper players not projects.

Although the boy could go on to make us money in future I think any cash we spend should be on starters in the spine of team, this is what should of been done in summer then added too as we go forward, some players cannot always be with the thought of flipping in a couple of years, if we want to win title after title we cannot have a 8 different players in our starting line up every season.

Of all the business done under Thelwell, Meghoma has probably been the best of them all. Still only 19, great going forward just needs to brush up on defensive duties, which will come with good coaching, but I'd take him at £5m.

I thought the option to buy was a lot less than that. I think he will be a great buy but he does need help / competition.

Not sure about £5m. To me he seems a carbon copy of Jefte, decent going forward but can't defend but he is only 19. Tough one, that's a big outlay that would have to be turned into profit in future and he has a lot of developing to do.

He'll be much better next season after his 1st full season of senior football. If I could get an experienced LB on a free for £5 million I'd take a punt on Meghoma.

I'm pretty sure that the option to buy is c£8m.
Which will include the loan fees and addons.
