Surely we still have scouting profiles from recent years including Nils Koppen time, so no need to reinvent the wheel, simply need to run past Danny Rohl and see where the views align.

Parlane, there are other coaches, scouts, scouting agencies we can use, mate. Danny will have plenty of help, but hopefully he will always have the final say.

I know not everyone will agree with this but managers should not be leading recruitment. It should be recruitment specialists working with a strategic expert in the DoF role.
The manager should be involved in the process but them having final say is BS for me. We need a strategic approach no matter what happens with the manager. We all know how quick they come and go, I am sick to death of summer rebuilds that this leaves us with when they go.

Very difficult to get players in January window especially experienced pro who will hit the ground running, January used to be a window to bring one player and another big name loan to get you over the line in league, we seem to be at the start of a rebuild since Geo left and struggling to get the foundation of a team never mind the icing on the cake.
