10m for a player his national manager sees as a key player would be very poor windy, keeping a player sold for 50m out the side, wouldn't be selling both Raskin and Diomande either, league isn't over for us, I'd prefer Raskin signing another contract if not he needs sold.

The report is from another unreliable site and is quoting £18-20 million which to be honest is a figure that might tempt us. I just can't see any Italian club paying that in January, and EPL club maybe but there's not the same money in Italy.
We do need to get his contract situation sorted out, I know its up to him if he runs down his contract but we should be trying to avoid that at all costs and get decent money for him.
I'm not sure he'll want to move in January and possibly jeopardise his international spot this close to the World Cup.

Mystar quoted as 18-20 mil which I imagine is euro so be around 15 mil in our money which I think is reasonable to expect for a current 1st player and Belgium international. I know he has not had the best season but surely we have to take into account the issues with management etc.
Would be happy if he stays but like many have said we need to get a bit more streetwise and sell when the price is right and offers are on the table. Time will tell but if an offer of 15 mil hit the table I'd wish him the best and say my farewells.

Get I think anything north of 12 we take it reinvest it in the squad sell another 2/3 hopefully reinvest 10-20 million in the squad.

Think everyone can see the writing on the wall with Raskin i only worry that we maybe left it too late.
Also wondering more of this is really what his problems at the club where before that maybe they wanted to sell but Raskin happy to stay put and wind deal down.

We are not getting anything over 5-6 mill for Raskin, he only has 1 more season left after this one, current value 12 mill, so will get half or less, unless he decides to ride out his contract and walk on a free, nothing we can do about either situation, we got him for 1.3 mill, he has no reason to sign a new contract and owes us nothing.
Can see an italian club picking him up for 5 mill end of season and playing him in best position CDM where he would suit that league.
Not like he has the potential of Igamane or Bassey.
we haven't played him to his best strength's like a lot of players we end up losing on the cheap, so his value will increase more at his new club once he moves on.
another fail to reign in the big money by playing a player in his best position.
I think he has been decent for us, but nowhere the top class level of past midfielders we have had like, Arteta, Van Bronckhorst, Gascoigne, Albertz to name a few.

Yep new contract or cheerio can't see it being £20m considering the rockets we have doing deals. Thelwell would be in incontinence pants thinking what he could spend on guys on English div 1 benches, but maybe his boy might find something on his computer games.
