The problem for Matondo apart from injuries has been consistency.
You think you've got a player after a decent performance / goal and then he's rubbish before getting injured again.

Matondo is a very frustrating player for me, like so many at Ibrox over the years, he doesn't know how to apply himself during matches to get the best out of the talent he possesses.
I know I will get shot down for this.
But for me I actually think Matondo is on a par with Maeda. Technically both are ok, but not great, both are absolute speed
merchants. But only one of them knows how to get the best out of what ya lent they have. One works his socks off, is a nightmare
For defenders and is a great teammate, and will go o to bigger and better things.
The other one will leave on a Bosman and see out the rest of his career in the lower leagues in England.
And for me that's all down to spirit and attitude.
