Rayhan Tulloch - 19 year old at Stoke?

ANyone know anything about him - is this the plan all along?

24 Jan 2020 21:20:35
Tulloch is at west brom mate.

24 Jan 2020 21:49:42
He not from west brom tho?

25 Jan 2020 17:02:58
Rayhaan Tulloch is a B'ham boy but whether West Brom can't say. Only problem is needs to bulk up ATM too easy to knock off ball.

24 Jan 2020 20:06:21
Another big game Sunday.
You would expect with Hearts being at home they will at least try to attack and this will leave space for Kent etc to expose.
Should be an easier game than the midweek victory against St Mirren đź‘Ť.

24 Jan 2020 22:17:01
Doubt it.

24 Jan 2020 22:32:43
Nah they'll line up along their own box and kick lumps out of the players.

24 Jan 2020 23:49:32
Mike ger, I've also noticed that hearts are always kicking lumps out of our players of late.

25 Jan 2020 04:10:51
This will be a hard game Hearts are fighting for their lives and without Morelos we will struggle he is the man who bullies defences creating space for others to run into Defoe doesn’t have that strength we need to be right on it from the beginning and the first goal will be important fingers crossed three points and Morelos back for next game.

25 Jan 2020 08:07:38
We will win against hearts and I think Defoe will score. It's what he does.

25 Jan 2020 09:15:32
Small point here guys, Celtic will more than likely be 5 points clear before we play tomorrow, yes, we will have the game (s) in hand, but, it must increase the pressure on us. Why couldn't our game have been at 12.30 today, thus reversing the pressure. Anyway, I think we'll win as Hearts are unsettled this season, albeit it will still be a hard game, I agree that we have to go ahead tomorrow in the game, too often at Tynecastle we end up chasing the game.

25 Jan 2020 10:48:09
Sorry guys, but Hearts have changed their system since the new manager was appointed and play a similar pressing game as ourselves when they don’t have the ball.
It’s why with our quality we will blow them away.

25 Jan 2020 11:18:45
Expecting a barricaded hearts goalmouth and the ball lumped up to our half to catch out our defenders (if they are up there that is) .

Exasperating as usual.

24 Jan 2020 17:12:36
I don't really see the point of the winter break if it means we are playing 2 games a week for the next month, would be as well not having the break and just playing 1 game a week.

24 Jan 2020 19:02:23
Given the worst weather usually hits late February if at all, the timing is baffling.

24 Jan 2020 20:14:13
Iain1964, we were talking about that today and we agree with you. We're playing catch up, 2 games a week, more of a chance with injuries. Possible games being postponed due to the weather causing more of a fixture backlog and even more games if we continue in Europe. So for me scrap the winter break. Maybe they should give 3 or 4 days off at Christmas to spend with there families instead of playing on boxing day etc. What your views chaps?

24 Jan 2020 22:03:44
That’s an excellent shout. Not a fan of football on Christmas Eve/ Boxing Day/ Hogmanay. Family time for everyone lucky enough to have one.

25 Jan 2020 12:33:34
total winter shut down. play through summer.

24 Jan 2020 16:59:46
I wish our fans would stop this paranoia- oh the papers are linking our best talents in order to disrupt our team! Give it a rest! Its embarrassing. Papers report things. If our players are being linked with other teams, take it as a compliment that we are doing well. Stop the paranoia please!

24 Jan 2020 22:15:28
Kri55, never a truer word said mate.

24 Jan 2020 16:39:09
People scared to death incase Alfredo cuts their throat. Dodging finger bullets from Ryan Kent and now a worldwide movement to have Kris Boyd removed from Sky. God it seems like yesterday the Tims were rolling about laughing up the banter years and talking about being light years and billions of pounds ahead. Does anybody think they are starting to feel the heat of the title fight?

24 Jan 2020 20:31:44
Glasgow was used for the film world war Z and I think their setting up for another block buster. If we win the league I don't you will need a script just let the cameras roll and watch the Timplotion Apocalypses, Lead roll Chris Sutton supporting Clare Whyte and the Scottish media, cameos from Jackie Macnamara and John Hartson, extras from the green East End (must be able to foam at the mouth on cue) Will it be a comedy, horror or a thriller with a twist with Scott Brown and Lenny caught at the end in the Louden. Get the Popcorn in, sorry Lenny.

24 Jan 2020 22:22:52
C of ibrox, i think if boydy is removed from sky through there petition then we should follow suit, every time somthing is said against our club by ex players we should hound the t. v channels especially the b. b. c but also sky because we all know we are the club most b. b. c pundits& sky pundits always try to critisize, i know people on here will say two wrongs don't make a right, but i say what's good for the goose is good for the ganda, plus it will cause some real disruption.

24 Jan 2020 16:05:44
So hartson caught bare face lying about morelos sticking the middle finger up to fans, then, he then says the griffiths throwing stuff at fans incident was nothing to be concerned about, the police and stewards who had to deal the fans were very concerned, almost caused a riot! In my book, that's a lot worse than the 'game over/ ill cut your throat' gesture .

24 Jan 2020 19:16:00
The thing is that most pundits fail to recognise . grif actions were inflammatory as much as anything . No one new it was tape . paper . a stone . one of his snot hankies or what so he would obviously get a reaction.

24 Jan 2020 23:55:22
Allybot1976, it doesn't matter how many times hartson appauligises mate, the damage is done, the seed has now been planted, .

25 Jan 2020 09:55:33
Hartson is in the pay of SG. every time he opens his mouth, wee Alf is more likely to stay here and beat his beloved Cellic.

24 Jan 2020 15:58:10
Hartson eating humble pie after the blatant obsessed lie on Morelos. Pundit pish again, our team is paying their wages and keeping them contemporary for the wrong reason . KEEP TO THE SPORT FACTS that's WHAT YOU'RE THERE FOR - That goes for all the so called experts.

24 Jan 2020 16:07:41
He said "ill choose my words more carefully next time" wtf does that mean? Just don't lie!

24 Jan 2020 15:11:44
Boyle from Hibs for structured 1.5M
Defoe 1 year extension
Striker as yet in-named for rest of season on loan from EPL

Well it's what I would do
I rest my case.

24 Jan 2020 18:43:56
Heard that Hibs were only looking for 1.5M for Boyle. That’s a no brainer! Before Celtic signs him and we get to see what we could have won!

24 Jan 2020 21:21:17
They will just do what they did to Scott Allen Zikos, the two Manks clubs will never sell any decent player to us.

24 Jan 2020 12:13:46
Not a Rangers comment but hope it gets posted. Scottish football to ban under 14s from heading the football due to concerns with concussion and later in life dementia. When I played in that age group the ball was a lot heavier than today and worse still when it rained. Today the ball's lighter and water proof. I don't know how you'd ref a game that bans headers and I don't know players would play the game as it's a vital part of football. Just like to hear comments.

{Ed001's Note - it may be lighter, but it moves much faster which means the impact is more damaging.}

24 Jan 2020 12:22:48
The childrens game should be about getting touches of the ball and devoping skills. I think its perfectly feesable to not have players heading the ball until until they are in high school where they can start developing the physical side of the game more.

24 Jan 2020 12:32:45
Ed I'm thinking more about corners crosses and goal kicks into midfield not stopping a power shot on goal. If other FAs don't ban it it would put Scottish football at a huge disadvantage. To learn to header a ball at 15 seems too late to me. I played at a decent level but my one weakness was I was crap at heading on my right side! Never cracked that one. The skills of any sport are developed at a young age. Is it proven that statistically ex footballers with dementia is greater than non footballers? It seems pretty widespread in the general population. It's worthy of debate.

{Ed001's Note - the ball moves faster on crosses and corners as well.}

24 Jan 2020 12:35:31
Its been medically proven so all for it. Also might mean we have to teach kids actual passing and playing the game as opposed to lump it up to the big guy.

24 Jan 2020 12:50:41
So what would happen if in a game one of the kids jumps and heads the ball when in the air as sometimes it's a natural instinct when playing football does the other team get a free kick does the kid get a yellow similar to when a handball occurs? That would just turn kids away from playing I think but as it's been medically proven there must be something else they can do.

24 Jan 2020 13:52:26
Dunfermlineloyal it's a bit late to do so unless the rest of the world are doing the same. Ed raised a fair point so let's allow kids to block a pile driver shot on goal head height to protect themselves with their arms and hands legally.

24 Jan 2020 13:16:02
Actually there is no proven medical link between heading and dementia. The ban is just in case untill it is proven one way or another.

24 Jan 2020 13:54:21
Kfraser, i also played in the days with the old laced up leather ball mate, harder to header it a distance, but i don't agree with the dementia part as i think that dementia is just down to bad luch, my mother in law had dementia god rest her plus i know load of people that had dementia and non of the women played football.

24 Jan 2020 15:16:35
Boys don't play 11 a side now till high school so there's not as much scope for whipping corners in high or such like, the more touches of the ball they get the better in theory anyway, they now play 4 aside for 2years thfn a year of 5s 2years of 7s then 9 a side before 11s to try and develop the technical side of the game.

24 Jan 2020 15:39:28
How can it possibly be too late. If this is medical fact it isn't ever to late to change. This is something the English FA also looking at.
Up to u14s the matches aren't exactly competitive so should be about building there skills. Maybe we would get away from the mentality of dropping teenagers because they aren't 'Big enough' if we focussed more on there technical ability. When teenagers grow into men that is when physicality is needed.

24 Jan 2020 17:15:47
Tell some of the parents it's not competitive. Ran a kids team for couple of year and gave it up because I was horrified at the way some parents acted. At u8 level btw as well, no wonder loads of kids don't want to play the behaviour of some so called parents at kids games is disgusting.

24 Jan 2020 18:45:45
Totally agree @herewego55.I ran an under 12’s for 1 season and was absolutely appalled at the behavior of the parents. one o my boys got hit by a can of lager in the back cause he was the best player on the park. needless to say a mini riot started with me in the middle. swore blind I would never get involved in kids football again. launching a can of lager at an 11 year old was too much for me.

24 Jan 2020 20:15:34
Its shocking mate they talk about all the reasons kids in this country stop playing I'm more than sure thsts one of the main reasons. Had to ban a parent from attending his own sons games for some of the stuff he was coming out with, would never get involved in kids footbsll again.
