three should haves spring to mind here -
1 should have kept Clint Hill
2 should have bought Walker
3 should have bought Moult

hindsight and penny pinching are wonderful things but if you want to compete at the top level you need depth of quality in your squad, although we spent upwards of 10m we are still thin in some areas. We don't get time anymore to play catchup and the other mob are just getting things too easy. Like i said previously, nobody is giving them a game of it and Scottish football will suffer long term.

Agree 100% with keeping hill and bringing in walker, still can't believe the walker deal wasn't done, would also have said letting mckay go was another one off pedro's mistakes since there's isn't any quality depth in the wings but doubt barrie would have flourished under ped, think in January we should look to bring in walker on a free, moult for under a mill another cb and another winger with more quality imo.

Hill out of work since he left us and only now offered contract at Carlisle. Know our standards have slipped but surely not that far.

hi fellow bears just wanted to say that i am a grat admirer of niko and jordan rossiter but they are not going to make it at ibrox . they are great players but unfit and injury prone . we need to shift them or let them go . i also am hoping that the vision for the future of rangers will effect the whole of scottish football . a different type of player a more continental way of playing. scottish football cannot continue the way it is or is going even celtic as we can see are going nowhere . things need to change it will take a long time but i do think pedro his staff and the board should be applauded for what i hope they are trying yo do. bring in more south americans european players we have to if we want to go forward . and also develop our youth whether they are scots or other . we can all see that the development is working better than any other and the sfa should be given some bit of praise for letting our young lads go out into europe and learn! onwards and upwards.

Gonna kick it off with the team selection tomorrow if alves and John are fit or not I'd go with fod in goal same back four if fit and a mkdfeild full of energy with jack Holt dorrans and candias then upfront Morelos and Pena just in the hole or drop Holt and go with Herrera up alongside Morelos with Pena dropping back in to help jack in midfield if alves and John are out i'd go for a back 3 of mccrorie Wilson unsure weather he's fit or not not seen anything to say otherwise and cardoso with tav and hodson pushed a wee bit forward in the middle have Holt dorrans and jack and Morelos and candias in the hole with his energy and running in behind would hopefully keep their defence occupied but that's my opinion lol means nothing I know but feeling the nerves already been biting my nails since full-time against partick lol.

I'd be tempted to start like this:

Fod

Tav Cardoso Wilson McCrorie John

Dorrans Jack Holt

Pena

Miller

Play this for first 60mins and basically stop them playing, 30mins left you have Morelos, Candeias and Windass to throw on the park to run at tired legs. If we can keep it nil nil or 0-1 then we can try and finish them off with half an hour to go.

Difficult to say what the team should be with injuries.

I would definitely play candias and Morelos though.

I see where your coming from bazza my worry would be miller trying to hold the ball waiting for support from the midfeild but never know this games in his DNA so you could be spot on I do think miller will play as he was tested the other night and we all know now that alves won't be available which is a big blow gives young mccrorie a chance on the big stage seems to be a game for rangers to play youngsters these fixtures like of Jamie Ness and beerman etc. never know what Pedro is thinking but he gets paid to make decisions not us and I have every finger and toe crossed that he picks a team capable of at the very least being more competitive and make a real game of it .

It will be amazing to stop that unbeaten run and get it right up them. i'm off the full weekend so I will need to wait till monday to bam folk up either that or I will be hiding all day monday. Enjoy the game lads and let's get back on track.
