The media and a few posters on here are positive that Joe Aribo deal is all but done, but he is at his club Charlton, at the moment, for further discussions.
Hopefully Rangers and SG pulling power can swing things and encourage him to come north.
I will make no bones about it, this move is a game changer for us.

Although Ive never seen him play he does appear to tick a lot of boxes, Im really hopeful we get him over the line. Although Ive said on here before Ive been a little underwhelmed with some of the signings so far, I do like the fact were signing young hungry players who could go on to do well for us.

No chance tav is far more vital to our team than Kent. Dont get me wrong Kent is a good player with potential and has the ability to get bums off seats but his goals and assists contribution is insignificant compared to tavs.

In a word. no. Kent's goals/ assist ratio is nowhere near Tav's. I wasnt a big fan of Tav to start with, too many costly mistakes in defence. But last year he was a stand out.

Bryan, progres will play the winner of cork v cardiff uni. We will then play the winner of that tie if we win our first tie.

Progres and Cardiff Met Uni play in pre qualifier and the winner of that plays Cork City in the 1st play off round in the same way we play the winner of Pristina v St Joseph's. In the 2nd round we (surely/ hopefully) play one of the first three (whichever ultimately wins out) .

Looks like another great potential talent will be going South of the border. I would have loved to have seen him play for us, but we ain't competing financially like that unfortunately. Also we are going to have this lad but better in Aribo I feel and only at the cost of wages and a slight fee ( Sorry Charlton chairman GIRUY ) and with most players the lure of Prem EPL footy we would be gaining a sizeable fee if we sold on should he join. Watched some footage of the boy n he's very strong in the air and ground with skill.

Had the new home top a few weeks, the material is definitely a lot lighter than last year's but that's not a bad thing, I personally love the new design and subtle message on the inside of the strip.

Its to do with the co-efficient of the country this season in Europe which is based on all clubs results for the last 5 seasons, hopefully things will improve but not for a few seasons yet I would imagine, long way back for us in a European sense with the money available in this league.
