I have seen a few media sources reported that there is a takeover of rangers coming in the next few days.

Looks like if rumours in the press are true then Scott Wright will be away to sheffield Wed and cyril desser will be away to POAK in greece.

Wright will do well in the championship. Never a starting player for us but is good enough for that level to make an impact for whatever team he signs for. Games are more end to end and evenly matched so he will have a bit more room to run at players. Played in a lot of big games for us, scored a couple of important goals, just not at the level required.

Remember Bellshilllad83, we already have Cortes, matondo, McCausland and possibly sima and this guy kabadayi from Bayern which obviously gives us 5 wingers, so you can see where i'm coming from if we do definitely sign kabadayi, i don't think we'd sign another winger ie. mofokeng or adama traore. ?
To answer your question My star, yes I've not seen much of kabadayi, mofokeng and traore but the clips i have seen, I think mofokeng and traore look better than kabadayi, just my opinion mate ?.

I think there will be more than one wide player brought in. Finding quality wide attackers is something Rangers have struggled with for years. The fact we were going into Old Firm games towards the end of last season with Scott Wright in the team is a joke.

Scott Wright was free to leave last summer. Rangers even agreed to sell him to a club in Turkey but he wouldn’t go. It doesn’t matter who has been told to go, they may still be here next season.
Matondo will be on good money at Rangers. Finding a club who want to take that on won't be easy.

So are we to miss out on a talented 19 year old who is probably going to take a year to settle and work his way into 1st team mins because matondo might not be sold. The fee is apparently 400k and he won't be coming in on anything like Matondo's wage. The talk above is based on Sima coming back which is far from a given at this point, IMO he is more likely to play somewhere else next season. Rangers need wingers, Cortes and Kabadayi aren't enough. The poor attacking options we had at the end of the season played a massive part in us losing the title.

Football clubs are a business. A business does not just sign players, and keep signing players, increasing the wage budget, with the expectation that someone MIGHT leave and balance the books one day.
Rangers have already said the wage bill must come down. If Matondo chooses to stay that has an impact on what other business the club can do, and will do.
Right now Rangers only have Matondo, Wright, McAusland, and Cortes. I think Rangers need at least two wide players capable of contributing with goals. Let us hope they focus their attention on these areas.

Almost all EPL clubs call back their youth loans during their summer and reassess. Sima is still only 22 and Brighton and looking to develop him for their own team. Rangers wanted an option to buy with Sima last summer and the answer was no.
Brighton don’t need our money. Sadly, if they do decide to let him go towards the end of the window we will probably have moved on by then and won’t be able to bring him here anyway.
Sima scored 16 goals from a wide area last season. We wanted to replace Kent with someone that had more end product, and we did exactly that. Had Sima avoided injury he would have hit 20+ from open play this season, from out wide, which is remarkable. I really wish Rangers could get him permanently but we have nothing to motivate Brighton in to a sale - It’s their choice.

If Brighton are waiting to the end of the window it’s a pass on sima to me sounds like either their evaluation of a player in last year of his deal is way too much remember just off back of serious injury and in 6 months can sign precontract if he’s smart he’ll wait.
Also rangers need players in early with all the changes and champions league qualifiers

@Carlukeloyal, we have done that in the past and made it nowhere in Europe. The league is a small trophy compared to the top two in Europe. Aye we want the league to lord it over celtic, but if you buy players from the spfl, they don't have the experience of playing against top Europeans sides day in day out. That being said, shankland Imo would do the business on a European stage, mioski, I don't rate him. I took an instant dislike to him the first time I saw him. I would take the boy from killie too, but the rest I want to see coming from European teams. And have a mixture of experience in the team.

Just seen in the news papers this morning they are stating that cyrial dessers will be sold for 4.5m and Tav will be away for 4mil which will fund the signing of Morgan Whittaker and Tyrese Campbell
I would much rather we signed Cheikh Niasse and a striker. But if Tav goes we also need a right back as i like stirling in midfield.

Lammers seems to have found his game in holland, from what i have been told he loved his time in glasgow but was not preforming as he was being played out of possition out wide and since moving to Holland he has been playing as a lone striker and scoring goals.
Its a shame he was never played as a striker for us cause who knows how many he would have scored.
