everyone is talking about davis coming back surley if he comes back we will leave docherty on loan as he is unlikely to get in the team the midfield would prob be arfield davis jack and ejaria rotating.
These 3 in midfield could link up really well surley that would solve our creative problem.
With talk of us looking at another striker i think we should have a look abroad not lower english teams.
Luka zahovic and liram kastrati look good can score goals and a young so potenial for sell on value these are type of strikers we should be moving for not loan players or english lower leauge strikers.

Davis would be a good player for a couple of seasons but we do need some younger legs in midfield and hopefully docherty will be that player.
i would also like to see us get try get ryan gauld along with at least 1 of strikers above as both are goalscorers and have a bit pace about them so would offer us that energy up front that we have lacked since kenny miller or novo.

A lot of leeds utd fans like us anyway mate. My cousin is a leeds utd season ticket holder of over 30 years. He and a lot of his mates from leeds, all support rangers up here!

bringing in Lawrence Shankland is a no brainer for me and they will let him go for 400K which really isn't that much considering players prices. I honestly think he could bang in 20 goals plus for us in a season. Also he is still only 23.

Have not seen him play so canāt compare him to, but didnāt Nicky Clarke hit goals for fun then struggled in the top league.

clarke did bang in the goals but not as many as shankland and not as consistant as shankland well worth a punt and he is a bear into the bargain.

Queens you're wrong, shankland at Ayr, 52 in 54 games
Clark at QoS 41 in 40 games then we signed him, so they are on a par a goal a game average in lower league.

I see all this talk about Davis and I would love him to sign again. But has a bid been made for him in any shape or form? Is it the supporters who want him? And think if we mention him enough Stevie G will just sign him, Maybe Stevie G doesnāt want him? Is there any alternatives for fans if he doesnāt come back?

Hi folks. I agree that tinkeing with the central defence partnership is not a great idea and leaking stupid goals only supports my view. I really think that Tav needs to pushed into right midfield and a strong, no nonsense right back brought in. Tav spends most of the game naturally in this area and the problems arise when he has to rush back. Davis back at ibrox is not a great future plan but its what we need right now. Thoughts?

Tav is an excellent rb. He has always been good offensively, but since a few wobbles earlier, his defensive qualities have definitely improved.
Think you'll find it's left or left centre that the defensive frailties are appearing.

I think Tav in a right midfield permanent position would give us more options in an area that is quite obviously lacking offensive ability. Barasic is back at LB and I really do think we need to stop leaking goals guys. Davis in January is a good SHORT term solution and we all know he plays for the jersey.

Davis is 34 in January, Rangers could get 3 good years out of him, 34 is certainly not old, very experienced player and easy too pay as heās a millionaire already, just loves Rangers.

i think its time the management team ie Gerard and co have a step back and ask themselves some questions like do we need to change the team so often or who is our strongest central defenders, do we have enough technical players for midfield to stop last weeks game going the way it did when we ran out of ideas, sometime a look at yourself helps a ton.

I would like to see Flannagan played at RB for a few games to see if he can excel in his natural position. I love what Tav brings to Rangers but feel he could be an outstanding attacking midfielder long term. I am very pleased with our position in the league but we are in serious danger of making a right hash of it if we don't make necessary changes. Onward the mighty Rangers. š¬š§š¬š§.

i do not know why people go overboard about connor goldson he has scored more goals against us than most teams he's no better than we have had yet tav gets pelters he needs katic along side him we were strong at back with them 2 since katic been out we've leaked goals like a seive.

Connor goldson is a good centre half IMO, but yes i'd agree, our central defence is better with him and katic together as a partnership. According to this morning's sun newspaper,
rangers have been given the green light, to bring steven davis back to rangers. Superb news as far as i'm concerned. Davis is EXACTLY what we need and are lacking, in our midfield engine room just now! Another thing is, when greg docherty comes back from his loan spell, from shrewsbury town in the summer, he will be the longterm aire, to stevie davis's midfield throne! Young doch has a lot of davo's attributes IMO. What an engine young doch has! No better than stevie davis to learn from, at close quarters.

Did you watch Katic in the last couple of games he played he was atrocious! The best pairing is Goldson and McCauley. And I have to say Iām not overly convinced about the striker from gillingham we are being linked with we need better than that. Itās sad to say but apart from Mcgregor not 1 of our players would get in there team so fans need to be realistic.

Ye watched Katic he was bad but think heās not been same since he was dropped and confidence gone they 2 first months season were immense then manager tinkered not been same since maybe run of games and he would get form back itās all about confidence but know if Gerrard fancyās him also he was good comin forest pieces Katic something they couldāve done with last few games.

Fredo would get in their team no bother. When his head is screwed on heās the best player in Scotland. Tav would also get in their side but only because their RB is on his last legs. Iād imagine theyāll be signing one in January tho.

Have to disagree supercoop potentially yes he could be better but like I said when you take everything into consideration you just canāt depend on him, as he matures he might get his petulance sorted out, but at the minute when players wind him up he reacts. And donāt get me wrong after watching Sundayās game we certainly need him. Atrocious without him we need quality in January thatās for sure.

Baffles me so much negative attitude from some fans were close to the knock out stages in Europe and second place and the team has improved leaps and bounds judge at the end of the season not every mistake they make its OK when we're winning but when it's on the other foot heads should be chopped off teams will drop points football is unpredictable and frustrating but keep believing and hope the team show some character and show the fans there not bottle merchants.

Agreed Danish. Compared to the last 2 or 3 years we should be pleased. We can't win every single game. And those who say the manky mob had a bad start which is why we are still close to them then they quite recently drew with Livingston and Motherwell and oh, got dumped out of the Champions League. They shouldn't even be in the Europa League - how many times does a team get dumped out of Europe in one season? SG will settle things down. We'e been unlucky with injuries too. I've just a sneaky feeling we'll win in Vienna on Thursday. Perhaps a Rangers/ Salzburg double? William Hill offering 19/ 10 for both teams to win.

Doiger, why should we be pleased compared to last 2 or 3 seasons? 1 point better off in league than last season, knocked out in semi of league cup this season as we were last season. wheres the difference?
everyone saying about europe but is there really any point in the europa league? we ain't going to win it and the money we earn is hardly live changing. If we were in champions league group stage then yes be excited but i believe europa league is pointless and has had an adverse affect on league form
get knocked out tomorrow and focus on league and scottish cup.
