I remember seeing the boy Barker against us for Hibs and always thought he was dangerous. Decided to have a look at some clips of him since then for Preston. Has anyone else had a look? His playing style is ridiculously similar to Ryan Kent. I know clips on players can often be misleading but he could turn out to be a great signing.

He sure does, I think with most wingers consistency is key. if he can steer clear of injury and maybe again like lots of wingers improve decision making this boy can be a game changermatch winner.

I'm sure Barker will be a decent player for us, he's very direct and not scared to take on his man. He also has great energy. How much did we get him for? My Celtic buddy told me he heard they were showing an interest in him. A good move for Barker and Rangers.

Really happy about our start to the season, good result in Europe and grind out a result that not so long ago wouldve been a draw or 3 points lost. Tried to chip in on live chat at euro game but for some reason posts did not appear, so greetings fellow bears and mon the gers.

Apologies C of Ibrox, I accidentally picked the wrong box on your question and deleted it after going to the trouble of typing a response. Anyway the simple fact is that it is usually the responses that lead to a reasonable post ending up having to be deleted. Unfortunately the sites do draw a lot of abusive people, which is why some people have their accounts deleted. But if a thread degenerates into more trouble than it is worth, the whole lot is just removed. It has to be remembered that most of the editors do this for free, so they don't always want to spend all their time having to deal with a thread that has turned nasty. Sometimes it is just easier to remove the thread and move on.

Let's be greedy and get Daniel Sturridge in as well we can't have enough good experienced strikers that would suit all our games. Mix and match them even play two up front at Ibrox. Looks like we need to be scoring freely as the manky mob have scored 12 goals in 2 league games.

I have a question here and good that the new format means I won't get a dozen disagrees. There were a few players identified as not needed and to be offloaded and most have moved on. Do we still have Dodoo and Holt on our books?

As far as I'm aware holt was released by Fleetwood and dodo took part in the pre season training camp but hasn't been included in any 1st team squads, I'm sure dodoo has played for the development side I may be wrong.

Holt was only loaned to Fleetwood so they couldn't release him. Dodoo was snapped at pre season at Hummel arena. Nothing on the net to say either have moved on yet.

I agree jboy, I think there is still a really good chance that we will get kent. I'm looking forward to seeing barker, I remember him turning tav inside out. Very quick, direct and can beat his man. To be honest I wouldn't have thought of him as a signing but he might just be a dark horse. 👍.

Agree we have enough CBs but do we have enough strikers would like to see one more Defoe will not play all games and Morelos will pick up injuries and suspensions as all players do Gerrard says maybe one more if we can move some on so cover up top would great.

Wiki Trivia - Rangers Legend Johnny Hubbard was a player to go on to play for Bury. They've had a number of class players eg Neville Southall.

I think its shocking what's happening to Bolton and Bury with the amount of cash flying about down there. Bury are one of the oldest establishments in English football.

We should as a club show leadership and compassion here for bury fc and try and help them out in anyway possible. We should arrange a benefit game for us to play them with proceeds going to try and help them through this very difficult time.
Good luck bury and fight on. Would hate to see them going out the game altogether.

I don’t see any one as different. When Lennon was at Bolton he slaughtered us constantly.
Also we allowed bury to have rossiter for six months free of loan fee and took no contribution for wages.

Buzzing after Thursday's win and really hopeful about winning silverware this season. To celebrate, I put £5 on Rangers to win the Europa League at 80/ 1. Highly unlikely, I know but what the hell. Also, Motherwell are 8/ 1 today so I might put a wee double on them and the Gers (4/ 9) to win. Let's thump the other green side tomorrow!

Ed001, any local news on R Kent? No where near match squad last night as Liverpool beat Norwich easily.

They expect Rangers to make an offer next week, they want a sale but could have to compromise as the lad is looking for a return. Unless some kind of deal can be done with a high percentage sell-on clause, that could clinch it. The only danger is if one of the German clubs shows interest, as he knows he would get game time out there, so that might appeal to him. Other than that I really do not see any option for Liverpool other than to come to a compromise with Rangers.}

Its pure common sense ed, the fact that kent did not leave on the eng deadline increased our chances dramatically. There are of course the european clubs but as you said he wants to come here and gerrard wants him👍.

Are night and day compared to the dross we have had in the last few years. Although we have still to win a trophy, there has been massive improvement. For example, the run in Europe last season, beating celtic TWICE, and getting a second place finish. Also so far this season, an away win in the opening game and getting a 4-2 win away in Europe.
Some so called fans, have to get there head out the clouds.

19 European games played lost twice, and celtic fans state lennon is superior due to euro experience but his record is nowhere near that, but now they will reply but he's done more games but Celtic with 2 losses in 19 games they be world beaters and players be worth hundreds of millions each.

Cant get my head round some of the negative comments on this page, regarding the manager and his choice of signings. Maybe some of the signings the gaffer has made, have not worked out as we would have hoped, tell me a club or a manager that hasn't made a bad signing or 2.
