Hi guys, hope you all had a great Christmas. Don't know if this is old news, but it looks like we are after a French midfielder, Pierre Ekwah. Also, it looks like Curtis will be going out on loan, which is a shame as I've always thought he adds a little bit of necessary chaos in attack.

I've seen this circulating a while now BJB, thanks though ???.

Shame to put Curtis out on loan I would actually prefer him to a lot of players in our squad at the moment
With a decent run of game think Curtis would be a excellent addition to our team
More direct than most.

Curtis needs game, a loan will do him good.
28 Dec 2025 15:36:34
Curtis is better than Gassama and Antman
Honesty does my nut in putting these players out on loan to continue to play folk who are no better quality.

Rangers Review saying Cameron and Curtis could both leave on loan in the January window.
28 Dec 2025 16:13:05
Stig that comment is madness. Gassama was our most attacking threat yesterday and whilst I will say he has been poor lately he does a lot of things better than Curtis can. From what I've seen Curtis rarely beats his man, he isn't fast enough to play wide or strong enough to play central. He is only 19 still and needs to develop more physically, technically and tactically then we can talk about him starting games.
A loan is best for all involved.

Stingo get real mate, Gassama is a level up from Curtis right now.
28 Dec 2025 16:22:48
Curtis offers more than Antman but he isn't better than Gassama imo. Gassama just needs to be more consistent.

Loan with some cash for Alexandros Kyziridis? Pa forgot my user name was RFC773 or something like that…so not new.

Curtis going out on loan would be the best thing for his development. I said it at the start of the season and I'll say it again. Any teenager who spends the majority of time in the stands or on the bench, then their development will be hindered. Curtis is a good finisher and his work rate is excellent but for Rangers he needs to be better all round, and playing consistently for the remainder of the season will help him develop other attributes. He has potential but it's up to him to reach it.
He's not ready yet to have a big impact on our first team. A loan in January where he is guaranteed to play every week will make him a much better player. There's a league for us to win (because the league is full of inconsistent teams right now), so we cannot take too many risks and instead use January to HOPEFULLY sign better players than what we have currently. We need players whose current ability already exceeds our current team. This is where proper scouting comes into it. We must get January right.

I agree he deserves and needs game time. If he's not going to get that here I'm happy to put him on loan.
What I will add though is that he's better than any of our forward players other than maybe Moore on his game. Curtis should be starting for Rangers.

I think he is a smashing player
And a good utility to have
Just my opinion
I think he would do well here
Not saying he is Gassamas level
But he's a threat and more direct than others in our team
And with a run of games he will get better
And his confidence will grow
A lot of our first team have been a let down
I think Curtis bring passion
And willingness
And has shown up better than a good few.

I'd not say Curtis is better technically but definitely mentally and that's more than half the battle. He doesn't hold the same fear of playing for the badge the others do because it means everything to him.
28 Dec 2025 18:02:26
My star Rangers have had several offers for Curtis st Mirren Dundee clubs killie and Livingston
United want loan obligation to buy
Hibs Dundee interested in Cameron.
28 Dec 2025 19:04:45
Gassama levels above Curtis? Not sure what measurement we judge this on as Gassama does nothing unless he has the ball and even when he has it he picks the wrong choice 200% of the time.
28 Dec 2025 19:08:52
Would just send Curtis out on loan John, not sure about Cameron i thought he'd be a good signing, maybe a loan would do him good as well.
28 Dec 2025 19:10:35
Don't want to see either Curtis or Cameron go on loan, we need more than just a first eleven, we need options and they are better options than some of the others who I would definitely prefer to go first.
We've not had anybody go out on loan and come back in years and I wouldn't want that for Curtis and Cameron would be as well to leave permanently than go on loan back to the level of club he's just left.
The Rangers Review weren't reporting they were speculating based on their own thoughts on the matter.

I'd love for Curtis to be the answer to our woes but he isn't, he stood on out under Martin cause we were absolutely horrid and Curtis was the only one who went against Martin's way, that made him stand out.
He's not better than Gassama as frustrating as he is, he needs to work on not falling over (might of worked in the VARless championship) and not be so greedy with the ball as he gets into brilliant positions but decides to go alone instead of passing. Don't know why Antman is getting brought up as he's not played in nearly 2 months so he's not starting ahead of Curtis then, Antman's first game was exactly what I thought he being doing every game but for some reason he hasn't been anywhere near that.
We need to stop writing players off after half a season because some take longer to adjust, Barron and Raskin are prime examples (Barron is much better than last season, Raskin completely useless till Clement came in). I think a loan for Curtis is best for both parties as he needs get experience, get stronger physically. There's a reason we've got Moore on loan as he's not ready for first team football down there.

Mistake if we sell Curtis.
28 Dec 2025 22:36:29
Curtis needs minutes.
Loan would be good for him.
28 Dec 2025 23:50:02
If Curtis, Cameron are sent on loan think that will be last we see of them as Rangers players.
How often do players go on loan and kick on when they return to claim first team spot, not many.
Not sure either are actually good enough if we want to progress.
Seems to be lack of young scottish players at moment who we could attract to improve team.
Milen at Aberdeen seems one that a lot of people rate highly but would they sell to us.
Watson gets quoted but is he any better than what we already have.
