Would be very interesting to hear what our most reliable posters ITK are saying/hearing about this alleged interest by Rangers in our former player josh windass ?The likes of John, Lundstramloyal, Asa, Ibrox4Me,

If this is true our transfer strategy just goes from bad to worse. We are now trying to buy not only a 32 year old average ex player but one we could have had for nothing 6 months ago. I can think of at least half a dozen ex players I would bring back before him.

is a short term solution who can mentor younger guys like Aasgaard, that's a good move.

Honest answer is neither stevie, our recruitment has to be better than that. We are forever being linked to a previous manager/director's targets or linked to ex players. And we wonder why it's not improving. Aasgaard has been a huge disappointment but it's possibly down to his position or minutes in team or maybe confidence but there is a player in there.
I wasn't a fan of windass first time he was here and don't think going back to players that were part of a team that was third best in league is the answer. But hey maybe since the club is third best in league again he'll fit right in.

Again he was ok at Rangers nothing more.
People are looking at his time with rosey view because he was on a little bit of form when he finished up at Rangers before that he was just ok.

How are we expected to compete in Europe with lower league english players even mid table premier teams tend not to do to well in Europe and their players considered higher level that championship or division 1.
We should be aiming to sign olayera feom around the world before english prem and other top leagues spot them.
