A bit of 1 and 3 there MBW, I think Calum ward is a good GK and one I wouldn't mind us having a closer look at both him and Butland made big saves yesterday. However we are so desperately missing a striker, Chermiti got a lower rating on BBC than Cameron for example who only played about 5mins.

The finishing and composure is very poor. Rangers really need to be much smarter in the transfer market. Shankland on a free was a massive mistake. I hope Chermiti improves with age and experience and hope Miovski keeps getting better but £12M on both with Scotland's best finisher begging to come for nothing is completely idiotic. Add Mulligan and Lewis Ferguson to that list.

so if the striker was only responsible for say 5 of those shots between them then what do we do about the other 23 which we had? the players all snatch at shots; pass on the responsibility which happened 3 times or so near the end.
can we give it up with Shankland; he never signed ; oh and he only scores from less than 1 of every 5 chances (19.15%) as well this season so might be just as bad. Miovski sits at 18.75% so not that far away. just obviously gets less chances/shots.

Rostosto Dessers as he proved he could do it at Rangers. Scotland's best finisher can't even get a game for Scotland and Miovski shows that just cause you score for one team in the league, it doesn't you score for Rangers (marked tighter, doubled up on, pressed quicker)

Only real important stat is how many he's actually scored. MPH already did stats earlier to show we're creating as many chances as rest of teams so it's about putting them away which Shankland is and ours aren't.

Shankland should have been signed. Him and Miovski would be lethal together with the right service.

At least we created chances yesterday which we haven't being doing and it should be pointed out that, Curtis, Cameron, Moore and Miovski all missed easier chances than any Chermiti had. Its dead easy to point the finger at one guy and think he's the reason for all our problems but the rest need to get their finger out too.
And please. let's stop lamenting not signing Shankland or whoever. It didn't happen but its done now and there is no changing it.

News flash, Shankland didn't sign.
Chermiti gives you more than Miovski.
Both goal scoring is shocking. Miovski has scored not many more but is slow and hold up play and first touch is terrible.
Play someone in beside Chermiti, I think that would badd a lot.
Our forward think 3 were so far away from him at times, he was in a hiding to nothing.
Like I said hold up play bring players into play was decent. Goal scoring and natural predator instinct lacking.
