I'm not convinced Mourinho is the right fit. I will caveat this statement by saying I don't closely follow leagues outwith Scotland. But he seems to be on a downward trajectory.
He has won European silverware in recent years with big clubs who could outspend the competition (but granted, he still won), but he hasn't won any domestic trophies since the League Cup with Man Utd in 16/ 17 (thanks Wikipedia) .
He has always spent lots of money on ageing players for short term success, with no future proofing. He courts controversy wherever he goes, and in a really toxic nasty way, not in a 'Pedro Caxhina eccentricity' way. He is divisive and disruptive. Just because he was once a great manager doesn't mean he still is.

Wasting his time at benfica, Fariolis got Porto off to a flyer and they are just starting to gel, superb tactician, defensily only 1 goal against in 5 games, pulled league leaders Sporting Lisbon off top spot beating them in 1st match v each other and sold off a pile of players for big money and invested 90 mill in top quality replacements that improve there team massively and got Luuk de jong for nowt who is scoring already, his team are unbeaten yet,
We are up against his team and tactics soon in europe and will get murdered by them if martins in charge guaranteed, will be an easy win for them if so, they are a far better side than brugge and we all know how that went.
Plus we are playing them at portos home ground.

No, Cameron wasn't injured for the Hearts game.
From what I've heard it's Schmidt and Rohl.
I understand that Rohl on the shortlist last time and that Schmidt was ruled out due to his wage demands at the time.
So not sure if Schmidt has lowered his ask, or if we're willing to pay more or even if there's movement on both sides.

Schmidt would be a massive ambitious appointment. Proven manager with substance is what we need. The players need to listen and believe the coaches plans and that isn't happening. Think as a support we all need therapy the club is a rollercoaster.

I don't know anything about Schnmidt but don't want Rohl, another inexperienced EPL manager who will come with plenty of modern ideas and leave in 6 months having been unable to cope with Scottish football and the demands of managing Rangers.

Mystar unfortunately i'd have to agree i used to love mourinho but i think he is one of those guys that have fell out of love will football and is there simply for the money although he could draw bigger players with his name his wage would also hamper our spending every year he's there.
