Whats everyones honest thoughts on yesterdays game?
From 15 mins onwards we looked like we were really good and had we taken all our chances we would have been 0-3 up at half time and cruising.
Second half we seemed to lose the shape and looked sluggish for some reason and no one was surprised to see Livi equalise, almost as if we could all see it coming.
Fantastic to get a late winner but we really should have been out of sight at half time.

SW2, watched it back.
The truth is Livi changed their system at half time and Martin was completely at a loss as to how to adapt - which is just as embarrassing as it is alarming.

After a tricky start we dominated the first half and should have been 3 up on easy chances (how many times have we said that over the last couple of years) . In the second half Livvy pressed more and we didn't react, we kept putting ourselves under pressure by playing the ball around between the centre backs and the keeper and inviting them on to us instead of playing longer balls over the press and exploiting the space they left . We upped our game after they got level and although we got away with it, we shouldn't have been in that position.
There's a way to play on plastic pitches and tippy tappy football across the back 4 isn't it, hope we have learNed that now for the Falkirk game next week.

Wee mad Davie, a tactical genius? Or, is it we are just easy to read?

See it comimg a mile off. Hence backing livi to score the next goal. Rangers were not threatening them at all.

Satisfied in the first half but think this was more due to Livi's approach to the game.
Second half we were second best after their tweaks.
Think it's very telling when the opposition adopt a high line and "has a go". They clearly don't fear our approach to the game and aren't worried about it.

EHL I don't envy you watching that back lol.
The thing is Martindale would have known they were lucky to still be in the game at half time and they changed things to go all or nothing.
I agree that we didn't know exactly how to cope with it on the defensive side of things but going forward we looked dangerous. Their GK made some really good saves too late on.

We looked like we were really good because it was Livingston! Imagine if we were playing Dortmund this week. RM has turned us into a mediocre mid table EFL championship club.

Both Rangers and Celtic would struggle being a mediocre mid table championship club right now though Ben, both are lower level in that league right now.
