Morelos is going nowhere near Newcastle and certainly isn’t replacing vardy at Leicester. Get the blinkers off, he’s hardly kicked a ball in 2 years, possibly only played about 10 good games in that time and still makes the same raw mistakes. Needs to get back to his fitness levels of parkhead 2 years ago to even be considered for a move down south.

It's a hard call if we lose him we are weaker however if we sell cash for a replacement but will have to hit the ground running. Maybe better getting a British player on loan with option to buy. Liam stop being so negative you obviously don't watch enough football to have a clue.

Personally I don't see any EPL team being interested in Alfie just now, too hot and cold this season. I certainly don't think they would pay £20m for him, said it before but in terms of making the most out of Alfie financially we missed the bus on that when we rejected the Lille bid, I think we would be lucky to get between £12 and £15m if we do sell him.

Newcastle are looking at a backup player because Wilson is out for two months. As soon as he comes back he will be back into the starting eleven.
They have been linked with loan moves for a number of players including Aubameyang at Arsenal, even with his astronomical wages. I simply just don't see Morelos going there to sit on the bench. Howe has mega bucks to spend but he doesn't seem to be having a lot of luck finding super stars that want to play at Newcastle. That is no surprise for me, the club is teetering on relegation, Howe doesn't come over as a tactical genius and Newcastle isn't exactly the UK's top residential destination!
At the present time I believe that Morelos is much happier in Glasgow. We need him to tie himself to the Club on a long term contract and stay with us for many years to come.

Morelos is effective at what he does for us, not pretty or a natural born finisher but he’s been key to our game for a while. That said, for Baxterboy to say he’s better than Aubameyang who’s been top scorer in the EPL and Bundesliga…. I’ll take some of that crack you’re smoking mate lol.

After that result today I don't see many players wanting to to Newcastle if they have ambition to win trophies and play at a top EPL Club. The only motivator will be money! Next season they might have the most expensive team in the English Championship!
Morelos can do a lot better than Newcastle! He would go backwards under Howe!

Sir Walter Smith OBE the Buffalos stats are brilliant and he has scored some important goals. My personal opinion is that although he’s scored these goals, he’s missed as many good chances and sitters due to his relatively poor technique compared to others. Kris Boyd or similar given the chances Morelos has been provided consistently would have scored a hell of a lot more IMO.
