Lets face in we got 12 mill for patterson. Who was a back up right back. 4 mill add ons. And he can't even make evertons bench. Lookin now like they under sold McKenna has been great in championship and is now a PL centre half. he's not any worse than Ajer and look at the figures getting quoted for him.

Good on them I say. For too long we've sat and watched English players going for tens of millions yet players in Scotland are traded in irn bru bottles. We talk our game down and that sells us short and we complain about that, the sooner other tes ask for proper cash for their players the better it will be for our game. Look at the TV deal it's negotiated by suits who were brought in to improve our game yet when you break it down to all the teams over its term it's pitiful. If Scottish teams were some how able to take full advantage of the chance they have at European football, ie two teams get into the champions league, hearts enter the Europa League and the other two get into the conference then those five teams shall get paid the same as the entire TV deal in one season. A deal that lasts five years and has money going to all 42 clubs as they all come under the one spfl umbrella even though only top flight games are shown. Surely if we could get better money from players and from Europe then we must try for more everywhere else, but we do need more and teams have to start pulling it in some way or another. I like Dave McCormack he want the best for his club and for Scottish football. Typical Scottish football attitude is to want more but do nothing about it, instead blame the old firm. McCormack has proved he doesn't take the normal party line as he has previously came out and backed proposals from rangers and that doesn't normally happen with Aberdeen chairmen. Calvin ramsay may not be a £10m player but jack grealish isn't a £100 player but he became it when the cash was parted for him. We sold a reserve for £16m and he can't get a game down south so £10m for players who won't get a game seems good business but fair.

RFC Aberdeen and any club can price a player the way they want, it’s for the buying club to pay up or not.
Take McGinn 20% sell on to villa. Incredible valued at 50 million hibs could get 9 million
Hickey same. Hearts could get 4 million on a 20 million deal, well done to both teams.

I actually think we need all clubs to start taking the same approach, our game in Scotland needs money in order to become more competitive, and having stronger teams in the league who may even be able to progress further in Europe will make the league more attractive to sponsors and tv etc.

If a Scottish Club is successful in finding quality youngsters and then develop them they are quite right to demand top dollar for them when the English Clubs come to call. Scottish Football has underpriced its top players for too long!

Quite right, hold out for as much as they can. It’s up to Liverpool to match their valuation or walk away.
Scottish football needs the cash and the clubs should hold out for as much as possible. The cash will make a huge difference to aberdeen.

Paterson is a kid! He got injured and will take time to settle after an operation, yet some have it all worked out that Lampard doesn’t fancy him!

Barrowlad it doesn’t depend on the player it depends on the selling club having a value and the buying club either paying it or negotiating it down.
