Don't know if you you like Piers Morgan or not, I can take him or leave him. But he a heated discussion with a guy who signed a petion to get him sacked but then came on his show to argue that the there are 100 definitions of gender, half of which he had no idea what they were.
Probably haven't worded this in the way I wanted to but this whole thing is an absolute joke.

Think i'm going to disagree with Brexit Jam and others at the risk of being called a snowflake. Migdet is a pejorative/ derogatory term to describe somebody with a medical condition known as Dwarfism. It is very similar to that of Spastic or Spasy (apologies) which was a common term in the 60s and 70s to describe disabled persons, again not in a nice way. These are words that in 2022 are considered offensive or could cause offence. Just because you are not offended is irrelevant. There are large parts of our society for various reasons that have to grown up ridiculed, bullied and discriminated against and this language only helps to perpetuate this behaviour. MnS are corect to remove this.

TJBB, i'd be very surprised if any Little people (correct terminology) have ever been offended by the name of a wee bag of biscuits with icing on top 😂. The world has gone mad a mate of mine went on a training course the lady trainer asked if he wanted a coffee to which he replied yeah black with 1 sugar please, she then proceeded to tell him that his answer offended her and he should of asked for it without milk and not black. I've been scoffing mini gems since I got pocket money, had a packet last month, not once have I ever even thought of a little person when buying or eating them.

Whenever I go out with my family I'm warned, especially by my daughter, to watch my p's and q's. Usually I put my big foot in it by saying something unintentionally offensive. LGBT is a minefield for me and I just don't go there. As for the term midget gems, surely people can't get offended by this. Surely it just means tiny sweets? Doesn't it?
