I see it’s being reported the fat man has agreed a deal
With Castore to supply Newcastle kit. I said to a mate I could see this happening. Hope the fat man doesn’t rip them for everything he can like he did with us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably likely end up coming out that he does have a small stake it castore.

30 Oct 2020 13:30:39
As much as some will refuse to believe it, there's no smoke without fire here. If anyone thinks Ashley never had his fat fingers in the Castore pie, then they are deluded.
Cue the abuse!

30 Oct 2020 13:36:18
It’s a very concerning story to me this😳🤬.

30 Oct 2020 13:39:53
I should have added to my last post that I don't have an issue If Ashley is involved. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to be precious about how we bring money into the club.

30 Oct 2020 13:42:11
Unfortunately I think it may be true. Questioned it when the rumours circulated when we announced partnership with Castore and this just makes me believe those rumours may have had an element of truth to them! In saying that as long as we have a deal in place that benefits Rangers then I’m happy to atleast see the contract out. Would like to see us go for a bigger name for next contract possibly under armour or new balance something along those line.

30 Oct 2020 14:03:25
As much as we hate the fat rat I think that aslong as our club receives a fair deal from castore that benefits us then he can have a stake in castore. He isn't directly involved with us or has a say in the running of our club. Castore have already said he isn't involved with them so I think it would be very foolish of them to lie. 👍.

30 Oct 2020 14:13:48
Over Reaction. Ashley has a finger in every pie in that industry. Impossible to be totally away from him.

Important thing is the club isn't being ripped.

30 Oct 2020 14:55:34
Correct Dunfermline Loyal.
The club is now making a fair bit of money from the deal - something we haven't had for a few years 👍.

30 Oct 2020 15:04:01
Who's overreacting?

30 Oct 2020 15:06:11
Dunfermlineloyal. a lot if are support give ashely a lot of momey as it is anyway. Said this many time. People don't realise what he has hos money in. Maybe more so the younger fans but if basically any half decent designer brand you are giving money to ashely.

30 Oct 2020 15:12:41
Just because Newcastle and castors sign a deal involving kit supply, doesn’t mean Ashley part owns castors or has a share, the likelihood is that Newcastle are the biggest club In epl that need a new kit supplier for next season and so castors have made there move same as there doing with Roma in Italy.

30 Oct 2020 15:28:19
Totally agree with Coldo. While I wouldn't want to give money to Ashley, all that matters is that Rangers get the best deal possible. The deal we have with Castore is as good as we could realistically get.

We're on a high at the moment, let's enjoy it and not worry about stuff we have no control over.

30 Oct 2020 16:12:59
Correct paul86. Even if Ashley is involved, it makes no difference to me as I have been spending money in his stores for years. Ashley owns cruise menswear, USC, Frasers and many more as well as SD.
If the club is making money, then there really isn't anything us fans should be complaining about.

30 Oct 2020 16:22:23
I agree coldo!
BMG who's fishing to start an argument? 🤔.

30 Oct 2020 16:43:34
What are you talking about grumpy? Are you seeing things that aren't there? Go lie-down mate!

30 Oct 2020 17:15:51
Wear and tear galore.

30 Oct 2020 17:49:10
All that matters is the deal rangers have with castore! And my tops are quite fine BWD as are the vast majority of others!

30 Oct 2020 18:17:56
i must be missing something here. because ashley wants to use castore means he has shares. why does it have to follow he has shares in all his suppliers because it is definately not true. i am not saying he doesnt, i am just saying its not an automatic thing that to be able to buy a product you need to buy shares in the supplier.

31 Oct 2020 04:15:22
Bmgh01 he also has a big stake in four marketing who supply all stone island to UK shops.

31 Oct 2020 14:31:39
i think cashley is after them though to buy that is.
