Yeah it does seem strange as it contradicts what Gerrard said about him after the game on Saturday. He shut down a reporter saying how great Morelos has played on Saturday then admitted yesterday that his head has been turned due to transfer speculation. Morelos has been great for Rangers however his time looks up now and it’s better he leaves preferably as soon as possible.

He has no one else to play in that position. When the alternative is Greg Stewart then you have no option but to keep playing Morelos. Stewart is at best a journeyman player who has never had a great goal scoring record and couldn’t get a game in an awful Birmingham side.

Morelos' head was gone on Saturday also but people tried to pass it off as tactics, he no longer wants to be here that is clear. However, we have no other options. I see people saying play Kent through the middle or Greg Stewart. don't we constantly see people on here moaning about SG playing people out of their natural position? Hagi off the right side for example, so why are we all of a sudden happy for a winger who's finishing isn't great tbh to play through the middle against a team with the quality of Leverkusen?
