Just read bobby madden defended the decision to not send Ralston off for the penalty, stating the that handball yellow card rule was changed 2 years ago, he should maybe re read it because of you stop a goalbound shot or a shot that's on target with an arm or hand away from the body then it is a straight red if deliberate or a yellow if accidental.
Ralston should have walked and trusty endangers his opponent by kicking the goalkeeper in the head. Force doesn't come into it. He could not get the ball therefor its dangerous play, straight red.

He dived to block shot and has made his body bigger in result. It's a pen all day and a 2nd booking. How trusty stayed on the park I'll never know.

Yeah the referee and var team have set the standard re the trusty incident now. Anyone is fair game for a wee kick to the face if they are on the ground essentially, I find this really confusing.
The same referee sent Diomande off with a straight red last season vs united, after being pushed twice and accidentally catching holt in the face, sent to the monitor to reconsider and stood by his decision.
Butland is lying on the ground and trusty has had an intrusive through to have a kick at butllands face when he's on the ground, really bizarre.

Watp62 Trusty was a sending off but judging by lots of comments on these pages if that penalty had been given again Rangers you would be going ballistic! Asking what he was supposed to do with his arm which he did tuck into his body.
Please don't tell me you would be sitting with a balanced view saying it was a stonewall penalty if it had been given the other way!
