Hi

Some on here say they were never worried when we were down 1-0 at half time, not me I was thinking the worst!

I always think like that when we are behind in any game, especially away games.

But it was a huge relief when the final whistle went.

Better teams do not always win!

We weren't great in the first half, but I'd say we were still the better team - we had more of the ball, created more chances and created the better chances.

So I was pretty confident that we'd turn it around.

I thought Kilmarnock were by far the better team overall, especially the first half. Other than diomandes shot he looked out of his depth, maybe the plastic pitch tho as he's looked good previously.3 points gained tho and good teams can win ugly let's say. Big big 3 points gained. think hearts ⁹will take at least a point of them at tge weekend.

Porkies? lol, it was grim n a hard watch, aye we improved n gt over the line, tbf I feared the worst till tavs belter, T. L secured 2nd, but still nervy.

I've got a lot more confidence in this team to pull a result out of the bag than I have foa long time. All thanks to PC . I must admit that I was nervous but not behind the couch. That was a great result . So at this moment in time I'm a very happy bunny.

You’re only thinking that because of the way the team would have responded based on the majority of the seasons we’ve been back up.
The mentality is turning in the right direction though.

I must admit i was a bit edgy at half time but was quietly confident enough that clement would make the necessary changes at half time, that could give us the platform, to go on and win the game ?.

01 Mar 2024 07:05:40
Well, that's just not true, EHL, as they had us rattled in that 1st half, and they were quite clearly the better team.
Anyway, we won, and that's all that matters as the result (as long as we win) always trumps the performance.

01 Mar 2024 07:07:41
Would think they probably mean that they weren't panicking like a lot were, especially on the live chat.

01 Mar 2024 08:51:29
Have to disagree with you EHL, I thought we were lucky to get in at half time only 1 down.

Apart from Goldsons header from corner in first couple minutes, i'm struggling to recall any chances we made in that half.

Shows how far we have come in the last few months as previous, we wouldn't have turned that around.

poor performance but points bagged and onto Saturday.

Anyone watching the first half, who was 100% confident we would turn it round, must have been watching a different game from me. We were slow, no energy, no threat, and looked like losing another goal before half time. A couple of changes by PC at half time made a big difference for about 20 minutes, which was enough to get us over the line. Big save from butland and Cortes and Lawrence injured, could be a defining game in the season.

01 Mar 2024 09:14:34
Lawrence not injured Bar, nothing anywhere, lost a contact with a whack on the kisser.

01 Mar 2024 09:27:48
BAR, I agree. I was glad it was only 1-0 at half time.

01 Mar 2024 09:39:10
Well here's the thing RaisetheRoofe, you can't claim it's not true.

You can disagree as it's an opinion, but it's not factual.

Looking at the stats, we had more possession, more passes, more shots and more shots on target - so in my opinion we were the better team.

I agree we were waaaay below the standards we have set recently, but I honestly wasn't worried about the three points.

01 Mar 2024 10:19:50
I can claim it isn't true, EHL, and it isn't.

01 Mar 2024 10:49:05
Anyone saying they weren’t worried is just pulling everyone’s leg. It’s easy to say it tho after we came back an won.

01 Mar 2024 11:09:25
RaisetheRoofe, good for you - hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

01 Mar 2024 12:06:56
You too mate.

01 Mar 2024 13:23:43
Only natural to be a little concerned at half time 1-0 down to a freak hand ball that could have went any way regarding the penalty decision, and the other half of the city banging the goals in against Dundee at home.
I have to say though I was quietly confident with big Phil not scared to change things, and seen enough signs in the first half to believe we could turn things around second half.
Hopefully more straightforward on Saturday though and ask Celtic another question for Sunday.
