With steven davis now match fit and playing superbly well for us, what do we all think is now his best position, within our midfield?
I truly now think davo is tailor made for the deep lying playmaker midfield role, as he hasn't got the legs now, to be the terrific box to box midfielder, he used to be. He's still though even at 34,a class act. He's dictating the tempo of the game for us and very rarely
wastes a pass. Another couple of years left in him, especially in the current midfield role he's playing, for rangers.

06 May 2019 21:06:13
You also truly thought and absolutely believed that our northern irish midfielder steven davis was the was that number 10 we needed. You were told last week that his best position was the deep lying playmaker yet here you are a week later repeating the same needless over indulging crap. We all know his best position is a deep playmaker, we told you that in january👍.

06 May 2019 21:23:22
Coldo mate you don't half go after Coop. Every time its in with both barrels, even other folks posts you refer to him in. Give the guy a break 😂.

06 May 2019 22:25:19
Snell, I think it’s just personal banter between coldo and Coop, I for one enjoy the craic between them, good laugh.
Great to see the second string doing so well.

06 May 2019 22:28:34
Snell, coldo is a wind up merchant, well at least in his small pea mind he thinks he's one! Like i said previously, he's infatuated with me, he's proving it. I'm constantly in his head! He's like the manky mob, as being obsessive with me! There was another poster today who summed this character coldo up. He was bang on in saying coldo is incapable of posting any original post of his own. All he contributes to do is try to dissect other fellow bears opinions, as he ain't got it to post ideas first, on his own! Total poltis of a character IMHO. The Ed probably quite rightly so gave me a small ban for being a wee bit over the top in being abusive, towards this character. I truly think the Ed should start looking to check mate him, with his very creepy, obsessive behaviour,
towards me, the famous SC11!I just keep smiling snell! 😀😀.

06 May 2019 22:49:29
I kind of get where coldos coming from though. Just in the last couple of days how many times has went over the top about Davis? I don't doubt coop loves all things rangers, especially our manager Steven Gerrard! He does get carried away with himself sometimes.

06 May 2019 23:07:49
Seriously SC11, this must be your 10 SD post in the last few days? Yeah he’s a good player and will bring a lot to the squad next season, I can’t see him being the first name in the team sheet. As you’ve said a few times, giving his age and experience a deep lying midfielder will be his best position but as we both know, when teams sit back and have ten men behind the ball then a deep lying play maker can be a luxury we can do without. I think SG will play him in the important games and rest him at the right time.

07 May 2019 07:06:57
Supercoop. If you are going to insult somebody at least spell poultice correctly! However, as the OED defines a poultice as a soft, moist mass of material. then perhaps you're not far off the mark. lol.

07 May 2019 07:24:19
i’m not convinced guys

deep lying midfielder position when we don’t have the ball has to be able to anticipate play and nick the ball back which davo obv can do

but he will also need to be able to tackle and provide cover which i ain’t seen yet so i’ll reserve judgement for bigger games

also in terms of his form he has been good and a huge improvement to his first few games but not outstanding

just my opinion guys.

07 May 2019 09:11:57
I don't doubt you Sir_Rock_Katic,
that next season with probably any of our players, it will be horses for courses at times. The squad rotation especially with the midfielder's we have, will undoubtedly freshen things up from time to time.

07 May 2019 09:12:53
SRK
As you know I’m a big Davis fan from my posts, and I would say that your post holds logic, Davis won’t play every game? Like yourself I think he’ll play most games. ( if fit ) but left out too rest at certain times of Gerrard’s chosing. Just a q. has Stewart signed yet?

09 May 2019 09:35:54
Far too much incoherent over indulging ramblings there coop. I can't believe that you are clinging to the delusions of another poster in the hope of support. Anyway remember yesterday when you were rambling about kyle walker costing man city goals well it turns out that city have conceded 13 goals in the games where walker has started in the prem this season. If I remember right I think walker has missed 5 games, so for arguments sake let's say walker has started 30 games this season, they have conceded 13 goals in they 30 games. that's less than a goal per game. So you still sticking to your poorly thought out statement that walker costs city goals🤔😁😂👍.

06 May 2019 19:28:42
Gers young guns win league title.

06 May 2019 19:52:44
Let's hope we can develop several of the young guys into the senior squad, some good prospects.

Why are Manchester United Supporters Turning Against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?

06 May 2019 18:31:27
{Ed's Note - Park3lung has posted a new article entitled, Why are Manchester United Supporters Turning Against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?

06 May 2019 18:09:24
It pains me to say it but the players odveously don't respect the manager with all these red cards which makes me think he has lost the dressing room does anyone egree.

06 May 2019 18:52:05
How exactly do you fathom that out?

06 May 2019 19:12:57
Aye when arsenal had the worst disciplinary record in the epl it was because they had no respect from wenger😭.

06 May 2019 19:52:27
A think DSGERSFAN is doing a bit of 🎣 that’s my job lol.

06 May 2019 21:38:25
Behave DS. That’s as far from reality as Mourinho for them.

06 May 2019 22:35:16
To be fair Celtic is Jose's level now lol.

06 May 2019 23:29:36
Dsgersfan, bull post. All due resoect. Take it easy.

06 May 2019 17:40:43
Massive congratulations to the youngsters yet again for winning the reserve league. Also hope that Murty gets the credit he deserves for the work he has done with the young team. I hope Murty stays at the club for a while yet to continue his work with them. Murty had a tough time at the club when he was made manager. He could quite easily have had enough after that experience.

06 May 2019 19:09:06
Here here
I like Murty, he stepped up when asked and did go through a rough time but he never gave up.

06 May 2019 23:39:52
Hear hear.

06 May 2019 17:20:13
Well done to the rangers reserves, the future s looking bright!

06 May 2019 18:27:21
Makes up for missing out on the Florida cup last January.

06 May 2019 19:05:03
At least your reserves never bottled it.

07 May 2019 09:47:17
allyboy1976 and the future's orange lol. By the way supercooper11 and coldo will you please stop acting like a couple of weans. You are starting to sound like my 2 kids when they were young. Maybe ED you could give them six of the belt or have them stand in the corner for a while. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

PS END OF RANT.

06 May 2019 16:58:16
Possible scenario for the last game of the season. If we lose to Kilmarnock, Aberdeen don't qualify for Europe. If we beat them, Aberdeen qualify. What's the preference. Aberdeen or Clarke?

06 May 2019 17:40:21
Win as all I care about is my team. Who cares what they all do.

06 May 2019 17:44:00
Neither, concentrate on us and continuing with our consistency for next season.

06 May 2019 19:02:20
Play the reserves and see what they can do, not heard the term sporting integrity in a while!

06 May 2019 20:21:50
My preference would be that we hammer every single team that we play into absolute oblivion. we are rangers and should never ever lie down to anyone n if we are going down then go down swinging!

07 May 2019 03:56:43
Ferintosh
I think whether the sheep finish 3 rd or 4 th
they will still get into Europe if Celtic beat hearts
in the final which a hope they don’t but probably
will.

06 May 2019 15:59:25
Well done Rangers reserves in winning league.
Kelly excellent, Dorian's played well.

06 May 2019 16:14:23
kelly could be our stevie g. give him a chance stevie or get him a loan please.
great job reserves.

dembele not quite pele!

06 May 2019 14:35:57
Can we appeal the Mcgregor decision, to postpone his suspension until after the oldfirm match?

06 May 2019 15:24:38
Could try, but the SFA will no doubt bend over backwards to convene a hearing this week to make sure he's suspended for Sunday. Don't think we will appeal tho cause Gerard said straight away it was a red and he couldn't defend him.

06 May 2019 22:28:38
It would be embarrassing if we appealed that.

06 May 2019 14:30:49
who do we play in the goals v them then? Wes or Ross McCrorie can't argue with his clean sheet record.

06 May 2019 10:30:10
Shagger got sent off so he doesn't need to do the guard of honour 😬.

06 May 2019 09:59:34
Huge congratulations to Ryan Kent young player of the year surely that accolade will help us in our quest to keep him one way or the other delighted for the boy🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍.

06 May 2019 11:32:55
He has been your best player this season. He is a good player.

06 May 2019 12:32:02
Phil did you think Forrest deserved his award my celtic supporting friends felt Calum Mcgregor was a stick on?

06 May 2019 19:08:26
Forrest deserves the award because the players voted for him, its got nothing to do with what supporters think. There is supporters clubs for that. There is no debate as to who wins it ever, be it Celtic/ Rangers or Morton player.

07 May 2019 01:15:40
I think there would be questions asked if it was a Morton player!

06 May 2019 09:05:52
I know we all have our opinions, and mine is that we have a very good midfield as it stands. Kamara, Jack, Davis are all doing a great job. As for Greegsy, he should get his backside booted all the way round the training ground for his idiocy yesterday, no excuses for most of our reds this season, we cannot afford to react. I will say that there is too much of forwards impeding the goal keepers at kick outs these days, and the rules should see these as a booking all day long, no excuse for Alan's reaction though.

06 May 2019 16:51:49
Irv, the Hibs player did absolutely nothing wrong. Mcgregor is getting handy at this. He kicked out at a Celtic player and the Lewis Ferguson thing. I am pretty sure there has been 1 or 2 other incidents. Mcgregor is a world class keeper but he needs to start acting like it. I can't think of him being like this first time round. Players are supposed to get wiser as the years roll on, not get more mental!

06 May 2019 07:51:22
We were poor yesterday and in not a Kamara fan. He doesn't work hard enough for me! It will be interesting if he starts next week and if he does I hope he proves he's good enough. It will be a gauge for next season. Chris mutton is thick and just trying to wynd us up!

06 May 2019 08:49:41
Glen kamara is going to be superb for us my friend. Just can't at all agree with your take on kamara.
Even our manager waxes lyrical about him. An absolute steal and superb signing he is already! We were flat in the 2nd half yesterday and superb in the 1st. At no time would i have said we were poor yesterday. Average 2nd half ain't poor in my eyes.

06 May 2019 09:01:07
It’s all about opinions Coop and we will see about Kamara?
I just can’t get the Aberdeen game in the replay of the cup out of my head as the lad was awful that night, but let’s hope he steps up✌️🇬🇧.

06 May 2019 09:47:59
I hate to disagree as well, I’ve been very impressed with Kamara and I think his work rate is excellent and on par with Arfield. If I was to criticise anything regarding Kamara I’d like to see him imposes himself more going forward and get some goals / assists etc. his ability to break up play is the best I’ve seen in recent years.

06 May 2019 09:50:40
Kamara is quality. Running about like a headless chicken is not a sign of a great midfielder.

06 May 2019 10:15:46
With you on that Sup l think young Glen can and will be an outstanding player, l like the way he plays. He could make us a right few quid further down the road.

06 May 2019 11:20:43
What do you think of steven davis's performances now yately1?I think taking his age into account, this deeper midfield role is suiting him brilliantly mate! Your spot on, we all have different opinions. Davo is now playing superb, that he's now match fit and IMHO he's the best midfielder in scottish football when playing his best, which he without question is doing just now!

06 May 2019 11:23:59
I like Kamara he has been outstanding signing for us but I think for the oldfirm McCrorie has to start. Not sure Kamara has the heart McCrorie has for these games!

06 May 2019 13:00:56
Kamara has been class, will be a top player for us.

06 May 2019 17:50:46
Thought Davis was very good against Hibs, his flicked pass to Defoe for the goal was pure class!

Review Of The Day 6th May 2019

06 May 2019 07:29:10
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 6th May 2019

06 May 2019 07:13:14
Anyone think that Morelos should start against the unwashed next week? For me, he doesn't and SG should go with the same team that started yesterday (obviously apart from McGregor) . If only this run of form had begun a couple of months earlier and we would have won the league by now! As for Shagger's 'kick', I've watched the incident a few times now - was any contact actually made? I know it was stupid and the intent was there, just wondering if he actually touched the Hibs player.

06 May 2019 07:42:07
It was a red card all day long and then to feign injury himself was totally embarrassing! Iack of discipline has cost us big time this season.

06 May 2019 07:43:49
No DOIGER, I wouldn't start morelos against them on sunday mate. I wouldn't disrupt our current starting 11,as the team, especially so in midfield are playing terrifically well. The players currently wearing the starting jerseys, most certainly deserve to hold onto them, for the time being.
If it ain't broke, there's NO need to fix it. Same team for me with obviously the forced situation appon gerrard, of having to play foderingham in goals, instead of mcgregor.

06 May 2019 09:58:04
Doiger love your passion and support but it's red all day long indefensible action I kinda get your drift as there was zero reaction from the hibs forward but Mcgregor seems to realise what he's done then feign injury! Come on bud get real.

06 May 2019 10:27:55
I’ve also watched it and contact is minimal if any, but that’s not the point the intent warranted a red card or the stupidity of the act? It could have cost two points (maybe)
And he is such a brilliant keeper, rush of blood .

06 May 2019 13:02:43
No Doiger, morelos doesn't start and McGregor was a red all day long.

06 May 2019 00:20:13
Greg Stewart signed yet?

Anyone?

😂👀😂😎😂👀.

06 May 2019 06:32:09
Sorry cato but its quite hard to take you serious now 😁😕😂👍.

06 May 2019 10:33:52
coldo - you would cause an argument in an empty room.

Are you anti opinion?

06 May 2019 10:32:18
ditto to the poster who only replies to other posts but never has an idea of his own lolol.

06 May 2019 13:13:50
its a bad day when you are regurgitating coops patter cato and replying to your own posts. I can't take you serious mate when you bite lol.

05 May 2019 23:06:09
I know Morelos seems like a rocket but you have to admire his passion if only he can be tamed. Probably more aggravating situations is the key to channelling his talents. All geniuses have a flaw. Costa, Suarez big Duncan Ferguson it's their switch. changing to a dimmer switch will be the challenge.

06 May 2019 06:30:53
Don't confuse passion for stupidity👍.

06 May 2019 08:55:21
Dont confuse morellos with a genuis.

05 May 2019 22:45:58
Don't understand guard of honour discussions on here. We are Rangers, they're ****. We applaud them on park, then gub them 3-0.End of.

06 May 2019 07:59:41
You want us to applaud a club that tried their best to get our titles stripped from us? Tried their best to finish the club, tried to get UEFA to launch an investigation into the granting of a European licence and have had numerous pops at us in TV and media?

06 May 2019 08:58:23
Totally agree Arthur. Can't see this happening despite the story gathering pace. Big mutton at the wind up methinks.

06 May 2019 09:36:01
Plus how can anyone possibly think it's fair to expect a team to give a guard of honour to a team being led out by someone who has been so disrespectful and goaded our fans after the last game.

06 May 2019 10:23:32
i cannot recall that mob giving us a guard of honour in 2010? our first game after winning league was at parkheed? some folk need to give there head a shake wanting to give a big round of applause for that lot. get a grip.
