If top six finishes as it now we will need to go to hibs three times.
I reckon we would play
Celtic, Aberdeen at home
Kilmarnock, Hearts away.
Then to make it 18 home and away, back to Easter road for a third time.

01 Mar 2019 08:15:06
That’s only 36 games. It’s 38 games so we would play 3 home and 2 away after the split.

01 Mar 2019 12:02:56
Soz should be 19 home hen away.

28 Feb 2019 19:26:54
Last few games we’ve looked the part however I fear we will drop points again before the season is out. I think we all that was our best 11 last night and looking forward to the summer where do we think we could improve? For me a rock solid centre half to partner Goldson is a must, Katic can cover both and hopefully develop some more himself, we’ll need another back up CH as well.

The midfield 3 look good and I’ve been extremely impressed with Kamara, hopefully he keeps it up and I’d say we need 1 midfielder of quality to add to the mix. When Arfield is missing we really struggle.

For me both wide men could be upgraded, I really like Kent but he doesn’t get enough goals from that position for me. If 4-3-3 is the formation moving forward then we need 10-15 goals each from our wide men to compliment a 20 plus goal striker, obviously if Morelos goes we need to replace him but hopefully we’ll hang onto him. 4 players for me for the starting line up is required to really kick on next season.

01 Mar 2019 05:39:56
I think if Morelos goes we will move to 3 at the back, with two up top. - in most games (if they can make it work)

28 Feb 2019 19:03:21
I'm sure most of us on here think ryan jack is a future rangers captain. He's been absolutely immense, since steven gerrard, became our manager! He's playing some stuff at the moment! Only my opinion but i truly think there's a very good chance, that ryan jack will stay at rangers, for the remainder of his career. He just seems that type of loyal bloke,
to me. Although from the aberdeen area, he's a big rangers supporter, into the bargain. He looks very happy playing with rangers and that like he's said before, is very important to him.

28 Feb 2019 21:57:38
Great player Coops. I think he could go on to be as important as Barry Ferguson was to us. Does the ugly stuff and not afraid to put the boot in. Also an excellent footballer and has added goals to his game. What's not to like? And he's a Protestant! Lol.

01 Mar 2019 05:43:55
How many "Protestants" and "Catholics" are actually still religious? Or do people call themselves one on the other because they were "born" into a xxxx family?

01 Mar 2019 07:36:48
Camoo. I toyed with the idea of putting a reference to the RJ song in. In hindsight maybe it was a mistake. Just trying to be funny and failing miserably. And fyi there is not a more split family than mine (can i say that? ) and i can honestly say everybody gets on famously.

01 Mar 2019 18:26:40
I don't take offense bud, I think the whole thing is daft. From the point of people singing or saying stuff and people getting offended about it.

Its a pretty small number of folk these days that are truly religious (people it would genuinely hurt or offend) .

So I don't really get either side on one hand I don't see the value hanging on to things that are no longer relevant and just bring bad publicity to the club and on the other a ever growing snowflake society that gets way to easily offended lol.

01 Mar 2019 20:52:42
😂 yet ANOTHER future captain from you SC11. The last 10 you had in mind all left not long after. When will you ever learn?

01 Mar 2019 21:28:55
Camoo 👍👍.

28 Feb 2019 13:39:29
Was always quick to be critical of Tav's defensive weaknesses but got to say his all round game has improved. His goals and assist tally is really excellent. Between Tav and Morelos you could say we've got the two best performing players in the league.

28 Feb 2019 13:54:29
He has greatly improved under gerrard👍.

28 Feb 2019 18:30:28
crossing still crap.

28 Feb 2019 18:42:58
Tremendous value for his paltry transfer fee, deserves his place and is rarely injured!

28 Feb 2019 18:43:38
Shows how opinions differ apart from one or two crosses we thought from where we were sitting that tav had an awful game . worst man on the park apart from one Cross to Alfredo.

28 Feb 2019 19:20:55
Molsgoals he had a direct hand in both goals in the first 10 Mon past night, that's no bad like! Never seen the game last night apart from highlights so I'll have to take your world for it but surely in general you must see that his overall game has came on this season no?

01 Mar 2019 08:02:34
To some, Tav will always be a scapegoat - he could score a hatrick against the mhanks and some gers fans would still find something to be critical about, although not me, I'm in the camp that thinks he's improved this year. This seasons Windass.

01 Mar 2019 14:31:25
Most of unknown I am not. A big fan of Tav however he is defending better last few games, keep it going.

28 Feb 2019 13:37:53
Fully expect Morelos to leave this summer and to be honest that will be fine. Will get a huge amount for him to invest in a couple of long term goal scorers. Who will be better disciplined and want to be part of our great future for years to come.

28 Feb 2019 13:41:13
Sounds easy when you say it like that 😂.

28 Feb 2019 13:56:38
If morelos goes we have to use the money we get to sign kent permanently🤞 and of course another striker. 👍.

28 Feb 2019 14:03:31
How can you say losing the top goalscorer in scotland is fine, of course its not fine but likely a reality. however more disturbing is how do you replace a top goalscorer with a couple of long term goalscorer without paying as much as or more than we get for Morelos. certainly not from Scottish leagues or else Morelos wouldn't be the top scorer. Unfortunately Scottish football can't attract top goalscorers and keep them, we will for a long term be a stepping stone for anyone. and to suggest that someone who wants to advance their career doesn't want to play for rangers is wrong also. don't think anyone can doubt his efforts and willingness to play for the jersey as its plain for all to see. sure we will make money from him and possibly we can find the next future Morelos but it will be from another league and someone else we take a chance on. for sure we won't be buying known goal scorers with Morelos's ability and certainly not two.

28 Feb 2019 14:34:56
Plenty more morelos's out there. 👍.

28 Feb 2019 14:36:23
Of course I would want a player of his ability to stay long term. It is fine, because the ambition of Morelos was obvious from day one. Yes, he scores the goals and has helped us achieve a great deal this season, for which we will always be thankful. However, the longer we hold on to him, the unhappier he will become. His head was turned very early on and we now have to accept the inevitable.

28 Feb 2019 14:48:16
Tav has certainly went up in value under Gerrard, As has Morelos and dare I say Halliday? Halliday is a different player, never be a world beater but a great squad player? And he is satisfied as long as he’s at Ibrox, he just lives the club.

28 Feb 2019 15:02:52
Ulsterman, the award for most improved player definitely goes to halliday. Captain material at LB🤔, now there is a statement I never thought I would say😁👍.

28 Feb 2019 15:56:24
When we talk about Rangers diehards - Halidays name is first on the list, and when we talk about commitment - Halidays name is first on the list, and when we talk about determination - Halidays name is first on the list, and when we talk about wanting to beat celic - Halidays name is first on the list.

28 Feb 2019 17:29:41
How ironic if the one to come in with a huge bid for Morelos is Rodgers at Leicester?

28 Feb 2019 17:52:48
Also, be interesting to see if Dodgers raids Celtic and how many of their players he feels can make it in England.

01 Mar 2019 00:45:30
Think brenda will try for a few celtic players but the board will want crazy money.

28 Feb 2019 12:37:25
I missed the game last night due to work commitments but I’m hearing that following the Union Bears silent protest the atmosphere was appalling.

Why do we rely on the UBs to generate an atmosphere? It’s getting on my wick how quiet the rest of the stadium is barring the game against Celtic. Even Aberdeen at home was poor. Has our fan base changed so much in 15 years?

28 Feb 2019 14:09:45
was at the game and yes it was deafly silent you could hear the players talk on the pitch. i don't understand what the protest was about, is it an acceptance that they are the ones spouting sectarian bile? was it a protest because if they can't be sectarian they don't want to sing. either way it was certainly missed.

was it unlike 15 years ago. i can go back to the 70s and remember times when it was deathly silent also.

whats wrong with singing non sectarian songs or singing same songs but changing the words a little, do they want to create and atmosphere or do they want to offend anyone who isn't of the same belief.

obviously they don't know that a fair percent of players are likely catholic as well, so not only are they offending the opposition but also our own. or does wearing a rangers jersey require to give up all other beliefs you have.

28 Feb 2019 14:55:35
They want moved to bf3 and are basically keeping quiet to prove that they make the atmosphere so that the club bow to their demands. Next home game drown them out and create a better atmosphere👍. There is a few accusations against them, apparently the coin that hit the linesman at livi came from their area and of course they are getting blamed for the sectarian chants. 👍.

28 Feb 2019 15:14:17
Geesa protest is rangers won't allow them standing section behind goal.
Mb if the gave up their sectarian crap, rangers would be more accommodating.
The club are bigger than this group, as are all other fans.

28 Feb 2019 15:39:33
Coldco, they were the group abusing Clarke, no debate, they embarrass the club.

28 Feb 2019 16:05:09
Sure has changed Gallant, most of us have a hidden fear of defeat now as we have been so inconsistent on our return to the SPFL.

I for one have my heart in my mouth every time an opposition team counter us.

But we are getting stronger and more confident as the seasons come and go.

28 Feb 2019 16:19:10
They are moaning about not being allowed to move to BF3.
They don't care that ST holders of many years might not want to move out of BF3.

They do however generate a great atmosphere even though a number of them are trouble makers.

28 Feb 2019 17:16:57
Jbhoy21, yeah I heard that they were the ones abusing clarke👍.

28 Feb 2019 18:23:40
I posted yesterday about Union Bears. I'm glad that most folk seem to be in agreement that their behaviour is unacceptable. They have made me feel uncomfortable and I'm sure must put off people coming with children too. Anyone can bang a drum and start a song so if they won't stop the sectarianism then i'd tell them they aren't welcome.

28 Feb 2019 18:26:01
Coldco, careful with spelling my name mate.

28 Feb 2019 18:37:27
Seriously jbhoy21🙃, practise what you preech👍.

28 Feb 2019 18:49:00
They started the singing to Clark who then acknowledged them and gave them a sarcastic wave to which thousands and thousands joined in.

01 Mar 2019 12:05:28
Coldco my point in jest is I'm not a bhoy.

01 Mar 2019 13:54:31
Jboy21 Might not be a bhoy but you seem to struggle like one of them when it comes to reading lol.

28 Feb 2019 10:05:56
FROM SG's POST MATCH
"I thought Glen and Ryan's standards didn't drop, they were probably the only two. So the advice is that when they smell that in future, go for a few people and rattle some cages because it's not acceptable. "

IS THIS NOT THE CAPTAIN'S RESPONSIBILITY~?

28 Feb 2019 10:44:41
Its every rangers player's responsibility DEEB.

28 Feb 2019 10:50:40
I like tav but he's not a natural leader, I think we do lack leadership on the park, particularly when we are up against it👍.

28 Feb 2019 11:08:56
Very true coop👍.

28 Feb 2019 11:09:51
Super

We have never has a team of 11 leaders, nor has anyone else but yes a bit of self motivation should be present but there has to be a real leader otherwise why have a captain at all. The captain should be the obvious motivator and leader.
Obviously SG doesn't think its everyone responsibility he took these two aside to do it. As captain Tav at least should have been in the discussion.

28 Feb 2019 11:33:09
Ryan Jack is the obvious captain for me - having a cracking season, chipping in with goals - assist last night with lovely through ball. Rangers man too.

28 Feb 2019 12:32:46
Not to take the shine off another great win and agree every player should take their own responsibility, however it is a bit of a worry if the manager calls out players who stood up to be counted and the captain isn't amongst them?

28 Feb 2019 13:08:04
Maybe the choice of captain is based on personality, none of which any of you know about any of the team. I'll trust Gerrard over you chaps, no offence.

28 Feb 2019 13:50:24
Tav might be a great laugh souness but a real captain is more than personality👍.

28 Feb 2019 16:26:55
Coldo, maybe compile a list of your essential skills required for a suitable captain and rate the whole squad and pass it on to the management team? LOL.

28 Feb 2019 18:16:24
Pointless souness, I've been telling stevie for weeks to play katic instead of worrall but he won't listen😩🔫👍.

28 Feb 2019 08:42:10
Like i said several days ago, why would we sign graeme shinnie? We absolutely don't need him, he wouldn't get a game in our starting 11! The understanding we have in midfield, between ryan jack, glen kamara and scotty arfield, is terrific! On sunday i'm very confident that both jack and kamara, will boss the game for us against aberdeen, in the midfield area! Jack will get the better of shinnie in the engine room on sunday, mark my words!

28 Feb 2019 09:13:55
Coop, you don't half set yourself up for a fall. We have played 3 games, against a 10 man kille and very poor hamilton and dundee sides with jack kamara and arfield, let's not get ahead of ourselves. It was only two weeks ago that steven davis was the messiah. I do agree that we have been impressive and very clinical, kamara has been great but marking your words has haunted you so many times before. Chill man👍.

28 Feb 2019 10:29:40
Coldo - agree, but the team seems pumped up for the first half and fades away in the second. SG stated that he wants the teams first half momentum carried into the second half. They have to be mean, hungry and clinical for 90 minutes - it is what SG and the fans want.

In saying that there is now no team in Scotland that we are afraid of.

28 Feb 2019 10:45:13
I have noticed that we tend to fade away in the second half aswell true blue, particularly over the last couple of games. I suppose if we are 3 or 4 up at half time its not really a huge issue but when games are tight we do need to maintain that level or the inevitable will happen. that's where the leaders of the team should step up👍.

28 Feb 2019 10:49:52
Listen that's my opinion and i'm simply putting it out there, which of course is everyone's right on here to either have their own opinion,
agree or disagree! If that's your take coldo, that's your take and quite simply, if i have the opinion i just stated, then i'll post it. Simple as that.

28 Feb 2019 11:14:01
You are entiltled to your opinion coop, I'm just saying that you tend to dive in and then get wound up when people call you out. Just a bit of advice that's all👍.

28 Feb 2019 11:35:52
Coldo - agree, again - but do you not think that being three or four in the first half should be the impetus for getting more? Remember, celtic still have a superior goal difference and if we had kept going to the wire it may have been closer - still, we are going in the right direction - the next four games will determine our season > 1. Aberdeen, 2. Hibs, 3. Kilmarnock 4. Celtic.

28 Feb 2019 11:54:26
Coldo, in the last couple games we've been three up in first half so team can afford to take foot off gas. Again some picking holes tho I respect your right etc.

28 Feb 2019 12:58:10
Millerbw - do you think SG is picking holes?

28 Feb 2019 13:43:03
True blue, yes when we are 3 or 4 up at half time I expect it to end up 8 nil or so and find it hard that the team doesn't go for more. Millerbrand, yes it prob is picking holes but at the same time if the team were in the habit of really going for teams in the second half when we are 3 up at half time surely this level of consistency would stand us in good stead if we were going into the second half of games at 0-0?👍.

28 Feb 2019 13:55:21
Coldo - we now in complete agreement - onwards and upwards!

28 Feb 2019 14:22:43
I agree that when you are 3 or 4 up at half time, then the motivation may drop, but, when you are still 6 goal adrift of Celtic on goal difference, we should be scoring as many goals as is possible. No let up against anyone between now and the end of the season.

28 Feb 2019 14:26:28
True blue👍.

28 Feb 2019 15:47:51
Coldo and True blue, completely agree with both your posts.

Mind you we humped Hamilton who then went on to beat the Sheep .

Anyone notice recently the manks seem to wait till the last seconds to win wi a last gasp strike.

Lets hope Stevie is aware of that when we play them and not fall asleep in second half like some times before.

28 Feb 2019 16:49:27
BlueBilly - that lot are devoid of ideas and appear to be playing desperation football - it cannot last - they struggled against ten men - once again mad broonie could have been sent off for dangerous play - how many times does he get away with it? Brenda new their bottle was crashing!

28 Feb 2019 21:48:22
No said Coldco by name-was speaking with him.

01 Mar 2019 08:23:51
I thought Shinnie was immense against us in the last game and would rather have him in my squad than Davis. Not sure though we need Shinnie as we need a number 10 type player. Going to be a battle up there on Sunday but if we can keep 11 men on the park and play like we can do we should get the job done.

27 Feb 2019 23:34:27
Very good first half performance by us tonight, with some very high energy, nice football being played! Our midfield 3 of ryan jack, glen kamara and scotty arfield, are terrific together! All 3 were superb especially first half, with arfield getting substituted, at half time, precaution i hope. Ryan jack was superb for us again tonight as was glen kamara,
who just shaded ryan jack, as my MOTM!

28 Feb 2019 01:23:59
I totaly agree and we need to build our team around the three of them for next season

With Gregsy Goldson and an other at the back and add a few additions and we will have a strong settled team.

28 Feb 2019 07:42:20
It was against a very poor Dundee side.

28 Feb 2019 08:35:05
RAW, should you not be on the leicester page🤔👍.

28 Feb 2019 08:36:30
Doesn't matter who its against, you've still got to go out and do the business! Old saying in football my auld mucker, you can only beat what's in front of you! Celtic have won most of their 7 titles in a row because there was absolutely no team their to challenge them! You can't have your cake and eat it pal! Its either one thing or the other! So where do you stop, with a statement like yours? Mmmm!

28 Feb 2019 08:44:14
RAW you are very correct bud, it was against a poor dundee side . much like the very poor hearts side, with 10 men for half a game, that your almighty world class side struggled to beat yesteday

as Coldo says i reckon you are on the wrong pages these days.

28 Feb 2019 13:53:33
Lol coldco.
