Think posts being slightly over critical here. I saw a gubbing today with 5 good goals plus unclean dropped two points against nobody. What do you want? OK we lost two goals because defence still to gel but I was purring.

My only problem was, apart from losing 3 goals to nobody, that as soon as we scored the 5th Murty instructed the team to hold on to what we had and hit on the break so they started trying to pass the ball about in the midfield playing each other into trouble and it made it look like hamilton were the stronger team for the last 15 mins. its not the first time that as soon as we score we sit in and invite teams on to us I hope Murty has a look at this and sorts it.

I suggest all you lot slagging Bates go back and look at each goal they score. He is at fault for ZERO of them yet here you all are slagging him. The first goal Docherty fails to clear and then Martin doesn’t chase out to close down the shot. Second goal, Martin lumps the ball forward to one of their players then they break and score. Third goal, Martin hand ball. At what point did Bates do anything wrong? And for those of you saying his distribution is bad. he’s a good strong defender with good positional sense. If his distribution was good he wouldn’t be playing for us, it’s as simple as that. I think because he is young and came from raith he is the scape goat for when things go wrong at the back. I’ve seen him put in far more good performances this season than Alves has when he has played

Bates was not at fault for any of the goals, Martin was at fault for two and Docherty the other.
Bates might not be the best centre half we have but at this moment he has the jersey.
Can anyone tell me any goal since the winter break that has been his fault.
The guy gives 100% every time but because he is not one of the pin up boys he is being made the scapegoat.
Instead of slagging the team get behind them.
Murty sees the players everyday and at this moment he thinks bates is better than Alves or Alves would have the jersey end of story
Onwards and Upwards just a think we are only 9 behind, the sheep beat them next week and then we do and the title is back on

I have merely pointed out that Bates passing his terrible and he gives the ball away needlessly. For all those defending him are you happy with his distribution?

I think everyone else defending Bates would be happy to give him time to improve his distribution as he is a young CB and the rest of his game is very good. Remember Craig Moore. Got pelters, went on to be a good Captain.

Feck sake. John Brown is given plaudits and he was and only was a strong defender. When he scored against Celtic after a nose bleed run, people weren't in awe they were smiling saying what the feck you doing up there. So give Bates a break.

The penalty was unfortunate and for Martin to get booked was unbelievable to say the least. I didn"t think Bates had his best game but as a lot of guys have said, he was blameless for any of the goals

Agree with what Dave was saying. Look fair enough Murty hasn't been 100% he has made mistakes but regardless i think he is the man for the job especially with finishing 2nd. Its not just a job for him the passion ooses out of him he cares for club players and fans, that's what you want in a manager

It's a young team right now. Today's average age must be about 24.
Plenty of energy and attacking pace around the team, and plenty of players coming back from injuries to boost 1st team and bench.

At last Windass is fulfilling the hype and promise we heard about when he was first named as a signing target. 11 goals in two games but no doubt some on here will still moan. Morales is getting back to a goal-a-game form. Murphy looks like a great signing. Celtic only drew today. We play Hearts at home and St. Johnstone away in the league then Falkirk in the cup before we face Celtic at Ibrox. They have to go to Aberdeen. Who knows?

I think it's great to see the massive steps Murty has taken since taking the job full time.
Just looking at the difference between his first press conferences when he took the job on part time and to how he is now is night and day.
After Warburton's dull, textbook approach where he repeated the same thing every week and Caixinha's absolute crazy chat where although passionate, he just spouted nonsense. It really is a breath of fresh air.
I love seeing an honest manager speak his heart and have a few jokes and not treat the fans like idiots.
Hopefully he continues to make the same huge improvements and when he gets reviewed at the end of the season the board consider both, the massive amount he has come on in such a short. time and also realise his massive potential for improvement.

I have been very vocal about how poor I think he is but I must concede he has been playin well and that's exactly how he should deal with it. Another 2 points dropped by the tims. If only we had beat Hibs last week. This might be a season we look back on and think we shouldve won the league. We just need to keep plugging away here and see where it goes. More twists and turns to come 🇬🇧 keep believing 🇬🇧

I was critical of windass because he was hot and cold but he is quickly becoming one of our most important players. First name on the team sheet going by the last few games. Fair play to him👍

Fair play to him. I'm not his biggest critic, but not his biggest fan. He's a frustrating player to watch. He's starting to show more, but can still go missing in a game.
If he keeps heading in the right direction and proves me wrong - brilliant.

Strange game today. Some poor defending from both teams but thankfully we've got josh windass banging the goals in, but for me the stand out has to be Jamie Murphy. A goal and 3 assists and was at the heart of everything that rangers created in the first half. Forward play was very good but defensively sub standard and hopefully we can eradicate these silly mistakes before the Celtic game

how cummings can’t get in ahead of candeillas i’ll never know 3/ 4 crosses hit 1st man or row z. the lads a trier and works hard but his quality on ball poor a lot of our moves break down with him. cummings had 1 cross and it was bang on money dropping right on millers head i'd start him

Thought he was decent today just needs to keep scoring the goals and hopefully he cap will come I think if he keeps scoring then he will have a half decent chance of making the squad but don’t think he will be near the first team for them unless they have some serious injuries but like most teams they like to spring a surprise at tournaments and hopefully he is the surprise for them
