I can see a scoring frenzy tonight. Young lad coming in with his chance to make a name for himself now that fatty waghorn is injured. I've never rated waggy, yes he has scored a few goals but all of them are goals your granny could have knocked in with her zimmer frame. Dodoo hat trick for me tonight. Time to step up and play!

Charming.

Think your being very harsh on Waghorn ok maybe there are question marks about him however give him the chance to prove himself in the premiership and think the references to his weight out of order.

09 Aug 2016 12:26:42
100% agree on waghorn mate. i think it might even be a blessing that he's out for a few weeks. not that i like to see our players get injured but i thot we played some of our best stuff last season when he was missing.

09 Aug 2016 12:35:26
I agree to fair points being made on a guys strike ratio dependent on league but at the end if the day he a rangers player coming in to a gers website and hurling personal insults . yeah what a support your magic.

09 Aug 2016 12:48:45
For me personally waggy is one of our most important players and would always be a starter me always gives 100% for jersey.

Oh come on I'm a blue nose thru and thru. I spend my blue pound only on my club and I'm entitled to criticise like the next man. I just feel this is exactly the chance the new guys need. Waggy came in last year and did his bit then got injured. Then he knocks back an extension as he feels he deserves better. MOH and the rest deserve a run in this team instead of sticking with the usual culprits upfront. Let's see how they perform now that they have a chance.

waghorn and Miller are not good enough.

09 Aug 2016 13:03:00
That was some tap in he scored on saturday and some tap in he scored at firpark in league cup and what about the tap in he scored in 4.2 over hibs last season when he beat 2 hibs players and slotted it home great tap in 🤔.

09 Aug 2016 13:12:22
Yes a goal fest tonight against lowly peterhead and we will be world beaters again and posters on here stating it will be 4 or 5 nothing on sat against Dundee. let's just get wins . never mind this mindless 5-0 predictions.

09 Aug 2016 13:25:27
Miller definitely not up to Rangers standard, Waggy a great old fashioned inside forward but not a natural striker. Still have to the end of the month to get a striker and CB.

09 Aug 2016 13:30:15
Really don't understand why fans are turning on waghorn and McKay. They are among our most consistent and best players. Not saying they are top class players, but they are the best we have got.

It's not their fault that we haven't signed a striker that could take advantage of their good play or a defender that can keep door closed at other end.

09 Aug 2016 13:52:59
Agree mr nice, also think we need to get a grip and realise where we are and have come from. Looking forward to game tonight.

09 Aug 2016 15:35:04
My problem wth waghorn is he takes to many touches when a simple pass is on nothing to do with his workrate which is great to be fair to him.

09 Aug 2016 16:28:00
Robbie I don't disagree about your opinion we're all entitled to voice on rangers but your post was a personal insult labeling a current rangers player as fatty by all means come on and say you don't rate him on his goals or play but no need for childish insults I do agree with ya on moh getting a run though and would like to see dodoo with moh and McKay on wings maybe windass when fit just behind main striker I like his energy and have Bart's and rossiter behind them controlling games.

09 Aug 2016 16:32:27
On second thoughts I'd rest McKay and play Forrester.

09 Aug 2016 16:43:45
I think Martyn Waghorn gives 100 per cent and I think he will sign a contract extension. My main issue with him is he is so one footed- several chances came to him on his right foot on Saturday where if he could have hit them immediately he might have scored but instead he had to take an extra touch to get it on his left and the chance was gone or the defender got a block in. As a result he's a trier but don't think he'll ever be a consistently top goalscorer for us (even though he's got 5 for us so far)

09 Aug 2016 16:43:01
The guy is anything but fat absolute 💩 from you yes you are entitled of your opinion as much as the next guy but have to disagree I like waghorn and a fit waghorn will start all the time in our squad most of our goals this season already have came from the man.

09 Aug 2016 18:17:17
Guys, I'm not McKay's greatest fan, however I thought he played his best football last year when waghorn was out. He was able to move across the front line (goal v Celtic) unlike when waghorn is playing he is stuck out left as a one trick pony.
Let him run and have a bit of freedom.
Onward and upward.

Good post bill72.dont want to keep harping on abt waggy but think we attack better without him. i knw it sounds strange considering his goals return but need to remember a few wer pens.

09 Aug 2016 16:56:48
"I've never rated wavy, yes he has score a FEW goals but all of them are goals that your granny could have knocked in with her Zimmer frame"

Serial?

1. You don't know my granny
2. She's been dead for some time so scoring a goal would truly be a miracle
3. If your granny could score goals like Waggers against Motherwell in league cup and hivs last year then may ask what her current contract situation is? Think we could get her on a free? What would her wages be like? What's her temperament like? Don't worry if she's a hot head with talent because MW and DW will give her the TLC she needs to let her ability do the talking.
