Can't believe the papers today with the story about the smell down Celtic way & telling fans to get a wash!
You just couldn't make this up LOL

onward & upward

Can't believe the papers are so slow, we've been telling the great unwashables for years!

2.) 17 Sep 2015 07:49:25
Apparently stewards have narrowed it down to 50,000 suspects.

3.) 17 Sep 2015 23:23:35
Jod1872, the easiest way to clean that lot up would be to wait until their place is fully sold out and just fly over their stadium and fumigate the lot of them, lol. Oh that's right, their place is never sold out any more, lol

For the first time ever - I watched and listened to the Daily Record 'back page' discussion.
Keith Jackson is a total FuDD.
Apparently because Rangers haven't been shouting from the rooftops over the past month for McInnes - then we show no integrity, are arrogant and dishonest! e. g. Comment = =if this is how this Rangers board are conducting business McInnes would be mad to sign for Rangers!

Have I missed something?

I wouldn't give big 'exclusive' much. they’re just raging because they can't get anything from the club.

Cue the unwashed.

Rangers st johnstone now Aberdeen, in my opinion, puts the 'invincibles' tag into perspective. Celtic had no opposition last year and only Rangers can change that, hopefully this year. Not sure if we will get of to a great start in first 3 or 4 games, and we must allow a virtually new team to settle, but we must have a strong season overall and win a cup at least.

Bil72.can you please show the evidence of where we (Rangers ) can change it. in the games played so far including closed doors ones won 2 drawn 3 and lost 1 ( Luxembourg giants ) scoring 5 goals and conceding 4 maybe Sheffield Wednesday will be a better indicator but I admire your confidence where is the evidence of our superiority over the rest of the league

2.) 14 Jul 2017 13:22:26
celtic can only beat what's in front of them in the Scottish league and they did it quite convincingly, it's a bit like us during 9 in a row we were to good for Scotland but just not quite good enough to win a European trophy and that's exactly where their "invincible " team lies in my opinion, but hopefully we can give them a good challenge this year and bring them down a peg or 2

3.) 14 Jul 2017 14:04:27
Johnnyg I have no evidence, I can only hope the 3 or 4 new guys we haven't even seen yet will come good and those we have seen step up in fitness and performance from that shown last week.
Onward and upward

4.) 14 Jul 2017 14:22:50
And Bil72 we have also to hope the 3 or 4 signings celtic have made have not improved them also.

Question, given Sir Davie has had almost 2 years to work with Wilson and Kiernan and we have 2 full backs who at times can be described as suspect (I accept the system doesn't help! ) Who would people think was the best defensive coach between John Kennedy and Davie Weir?

just asking.

bil72

{Ed039's Note - Davie hasn't had nearly 2 years considering both players only signed just over a year ago .......

the talent has to be there which it may well be for these boys but at the same time warbs should know with the way he get our team to play then we need cb's with pace. and its hard to believe how slow those two professional footballers actually are.
that's why we get caught out.

One of my first posts last season after the Burnley friendly was that we were too open and slow at the back, not strong enough in midfield and lightweight up front. I got slaughtered for that at the time. Despite the majority of us hoping that things would improve after year of MW and DW, I can't see much difference?
Premier opposition whether you like it or not is a big step up. Of the teams in the league Celtic Aberdeen and Hearts are to physical and strong at the moment. Inverness Ross C StJohnstone and Partick look very well organised and will love playing against our very obvious plan A. The rest are there to be shot at and we haven't done very well against them?
I will still be there shouting on the team. But none of this news!
DK time to step up I'm afraid.

If anything our defence is worse this season with the arrival of Hill and the departure of young Gasperotto.

2.) 29 Aug 2016 17:59:40
There is no plan B bill. MW was being Hailed a hero and a master of management. Marland was a gem etc. A few weeks V SPL standard teams and it's glaring for all too see this squad isn't nowhere near good enough for a sessions challenge. Pacey forwards will have a feild day in behind the defence week in week out.

3.) 29 Aug 2016 18:20:11
I like Warburton but iv seen his fairly obvious flaws for quite a long time.

4.) 29 Aug 2016 18:32:26
So well organised they all lost 5 goals to the dhims? They are pub teams mate.

5.) 29 Aug 2016 20:38:57
4 lacklustre displays doesn't make MW a bad manager overnight. I'll reserve my judgement till the end of the season, nothing is won or lost at this point and we have only drawn 2 games.

6.) 29 Aug 2016 22:11:05
Its early season and so much can change. Wev not lost a game but obviously need to improve. lots of players have come in and it well take time to get our best 11. I think if we can get a solid cb and a few changes to first 11 well improve massively. Need more running through the middle

Fod
Tav, new cb, wilson, wallace
Waggy, holt, rossiter, windass, forester
Garner.

When souness came in - he could shop at the top end and raised the England team!

WE are looking at end of career or loan signings - - just a wee tad of a difference I'd suggest.

BEAR72 - -the quality of the players being looked at with next to no sell on value, would suggest to me that it is definately a British manager we are to expect. i also suggested a day or 2 ago that Wes was in the huff re the Greegs saga and that why we haven't seen him for the last 2 weeks.
A lot of change to come, but same old story, we spent a lot, are getting nothing in return, and won't be able to offload many of these guys as there isn't exactly a queue at our door for them!

Back to main point re the turnout - shocking!
That Pollock Cosgrove on radio today saying Scotland don't need Rangers/ Celtic anymore!
That today shows why this country's football is a joke.

I agree - with the teams left in top 6 and the 'uncertain' nature of our performances one week to the next - it wouldn't really have mattered who and where we played them, although I agree the last 2 games could be the difference between 2nd and 4th!
