Derby and Huddersfield sent scouts to match to assess MOH at fixture he decided not to turn up for on Monday.

Fd

1.) 16 Apr 2017 13:46:12
Fd, i know your taking the piss right? have a laugh please say you are, if not omg my ribs hurt haven't laughed as much in ages lmao as if any of them would even consider looking at MOH!

13 Apr 2017 19:01:18
Would like to see Liam Burt get some game time in the remaining league fixtures. Hearing very good things about the lad.

Fd

1.) 14 Apr 2017 07:54:15
Yeah seems to be pretty highly regarded, get him in

2.) 14 Apr 2017 20:17:07
I've seen him and while he looks good at a certain level, I'm not entirely sure he's ready to step up. However, there's only one way to find out.

14 Feb 2017 01:14:27
McLeish gave a lot away in his comments on TV, expect Garner up front next week and Wilson at the back.

Fd

1.) 14 Feb 2017 07:30:32
Garner and Miller upfront. midfield 4 of Toral, Halliday, Hyndman and McKay. Defence: Wallace Hill, Senderos and Hodson. Foderingham in goal
Expect his side to be more organised and not as wreckless in posession i. e. No fannying about in front of your own goal. Goodbye Wes Beckenbauer. Hello Wes Foderingham.

2.) 14 Feb 2017 10:23:00
Halliday and senderos a bloody hope not

3.) 14 Feb 2017 11:03:41
Wilaon is a certainty

4.) 14 Feb 2017 11:33:25
as we are talking formations. i think we would be well suited to a 4-4-2.

foderingham

hodson hill Wilson Wallace

tavenier toral Hyndman McKay

garner/ waghorn miller

I really don't rate holt and halliday isn't good enough.

With this set up you can rotate in windass for toral and forrester on the wing for Tavenier.

its shocking we have found ourselves in this position, warburton should have fixed the defence as a priority and his midfield buys this season were a disaster.

On another note, Mcliesh till the end of the season for me. i'd like to hold off and see if Norwich fail to get promoted because I think they might let Alex Neil go then. he's a good option for us.

5.) 14 Feb 2017 11:49:58
If it is Eck I think he will play 5 3 2 with Wallace and Tav as wingbacks Wilson Kiernan and Hill in the centre Halliday McKay and Hyndman or Windass in midfield with garner miller or o'halleron up front making us difficult to breakdown but quick on the attack

6.) 14 Feb 2017 11:31:58
Halliday?

7.) 14 Feb 2017 11:40:14
Would go with that except move Toral inside and play Tav on right side of midfield he has played well in last two games and is a threat Halliday for me was very poor again on Sun

8.) 14 Feb 2017 12:36:09
We play Halliday because he is the only player we have who can play, admittedly very poorly, the defensive midfielder role. You need that link in a team between the defence and the midfield. It's not ideal but need to be practical.

9.) 14 Feb 2017 14:20:50
I've heard others say this as well, give Danny Wilson a shot in the defensive midfield role.

28 Jan 2017 18:27:50
Anybody know how Crooks has been getting on during loan at Scunthorpe?

Fd

1.) 28 Jan 2017 18:54:01
He came on for the last 5mins today against Port Vale

2.) 28 Jan 2017 19:21:00
Yeah they've had 2 games since he went and he got the last 5 minutes of both. To be fair they are on a good run so don't think he was ever going to walk into the team. hope he starts getting more minutes tho

3.) 28 Jan 2017 22:10:23
We could be doing with the guy getting good game time until the end of the season and stepping into Andy Halliday's role next year. Halliday was awful today. Gave the ball away far too cheaply on too many occasions. Crooks when fit looks comfortable on the ball and has the presence to hold that area off the pitch

4.) 28 Jan 2017 23:34:27
I agree, for a big unit he does look comfortable on the ball. Sure MW will have specified that Scunthorpe need to guarantee game time and development. Still believe he was thrown under a bus in the Tynecastle match and together with Dodoo has suffered as a result.

5.) 29 Jan 2017 15:17:33
Well said rosscoh1872, we looked really good today but Halliday was terrible again, Hyndman was the star of the show, toral was off the pace but I think he'll cum good, but the sooner rossiter is back the better, Halliday is a big bluenose, but he should be on the terraces not on the park, he's a liability

6.) 29 Jan 2017 15:29:34
Guys i honestly don't think matt crooks will b back at rangers! I think he'll be for the off in the summer. Imho we won't see crooks in a rangers shirt again!

7.) 30 Jan 2017 17:44:22
supercoop your right again mate he won't player for us and he looked to have a worse first touch than flo did when he was here.
wish everyone would get off of hallidays back I mean for god sake first its McKay who was a fans favourite then was getting pelters off of thwas a waste of a gersay and championship level at best.
then tav who is probably the most improved since arriving.
now it is hallidays turn to take abuse off of the fans who can't support without having a pop at sum1.

halliday is getting played out of his position and when he does play in an attacking sense he looks very good with very good awareness

10 Jan 2017 20:16:16
Any news on Jon Toral, thought deal would be agreed by now.

Fd

1.) 10 Jan 2017 20:32:00
He got a flight up tonight, should be finalised tomorrow afternoon.

2.) 10 Jan 2017 21:23:07
He returned to arsenal from grenada so i'd imagine only matter of time now

3.) 10 Jan 2017 21:24:33
Arrived in glasgow tonight deal should be done tomo

4.) 11 Jan 2017 09:47:10
Having medical today and should sign after that. I'd like to see Toral, Hyndman and Bates all play in Sunday's friendly.

Hate to say it because I am fully behind Pedro and want him to succeed but his comment about on loan MOH was inappropriate, lacked humility and from a negotiation viewpoint extremely poor.

Fd

1.) 25 Aug 2017 23:00:09
Agree 100% Fd MoH is fast and is scoring goals just the type of player we're needing. He's a player that never got a chance at rangers under both managers which is a shame for the player and the fact Pedro won't give him a chance no matter how well he plays is wrong

2.) 25 Aug 2017 23:10:53
Fd

The comments were totally outrageous. Not the sort of thing you would expect a manager to say

3.) 26 Aug 2017 00:12:47
Why? He's only telling the truth! MOH is terrible, about time we had a manager with a backbone. If PC doesn't rate him then why sugarcoat it

Good on you Pedro

4.) 26 Aug 2017 00:46:16
Totally agree 87Henderson! Why have a Manager saying that a Player out on loan is there so that he looks forward to him returning etc when he's really thinking that he would have rather punted him in the first place!
The only reason we didn't was due to the fact no-one wanted to pay a figure we would have accepted. We are prob still paying 50% of his wages! So I really hope he plays well and scores etc as then a Club may put in a decent bid in January. The guy just can't cut it at Ibrox and i'm 100% behind the Manager and its great he that he's telling us straight.

5.) 26 Aug 2017 01:24:49
Problem with MOH is that he signed for the wrong club in Glasgow. Let's be honest here and say it, this is nothing sinister I'm suggesting. His heart just wasn't in it for us.

He barely cracked a smile in a Rangers jersey, body language was way off. If you'll remember he failed to break into Warburons team also. and he was soft.

He's finished as a Rangers player. Only reason he's not been sold is because we are paying him wages nobody else bar the other lot can pay. Hope he continues to score for Saints and somebody who can afford his wages takes him.

6.) 26 Aug 2017 01:55:02
87henderson

Publicly slagging a player isn't clever or showing backbone. If your boss did that to you I'm sure you wouldn't be pleased. Totally unnecessary thing to say and way out of order. Not what a Rangers manager should be doing

7.) 26 Aug 2017 07:04:22
I think he was right in what he was saying because its true but to do so publicly lacks abit of class for me, I don't know if that's the european style of doing things or not but definitely not the Rangers way. Bearmode i agree 200% mate i always got the impression he looked unhappy with us aswell

8.) 26 Aug 2017 07:45:44
totally agree FD

The merits of MoH as a player are not the issue here . Like him or not ( despite his goals at st johnstone i personally don't think he is good enough for Rangers - i watched him take 3/ 4 touches to get ball under control many times and always seems to run head down straight into corner or down a blind alley - when he did play for us which people conveniently forget.

Classic case of a decent player at a smaller club who just cannot step up to the pressure and expectations of performing at our club

No the issue is how Pedro conducted himself in the media which up till now has been fine although at times bizarre but slating MoH when he is still a Rangers player who btw has 3 years left on his contract was poorly judged and not how I expect a Rangers manager to speak
about one of his own staff

Personally if you don't like the guy fine - tell him that or slate him to his face in private, maybe to try and get a rise out him - everyone's entitled to a 2nd chance but you don't say that about the lad to the press.

Very disappointing Pedro - stick to trying to get a winning team on park for Rangers

9.) 26 Aug 2017 08:21:42
Moh has not had a bad word to say about rangers or his time their, what pedro has done totally lacks class and smack's of jim trainor pulling the strings again, slag this boy off pedro, all the fans think he supports Celtic anyway and the fans will love it, unfortunately for jim and pedro the more reasonable and intelligent fans can see right through their bs, pedro doesn't come across as the brightest bulb in the box .

10.) 26 Aug 2017 08:40:56
I kind of get where he is coming from in respect to playing for them and hitting on the break utilising his speed. It might suit other clubs but I don't think we want to play that way. Take OH speed away and he's useless. Had loads of chances to impress but didn't take them. He was like a man down for us most of the time.

11.) 26 Aug 2017 09:06:04
Camoo
It's not his ability or lack of ability that's the issue it's the fact the manager came out publicly and slagged him off. Totally unnecessary and not what you would expect from a manager of Rangers

12.) 26 Aug 2017 10:20:27
Thanks for your responses guys.

To be clear the point I am making relates to Pedro's public comments about MOH. Personally I think MOH is not good enough for us and was given sufficient opportunities to prove he justifies a place in the team. Pedro's public comments were inappropriate and don't even make financial sense.

13.) 26 Aug 2017 10:29:31
Say what you like about Pedro, but he's honest and says it as it is.

Did he really say anything that bad about MOH? He said that he wouldn't return to rangers under him, and was better suited to another team.

Now we all know where we stand regarding MOH.

14.) 26 Aug 2017 11:33:07
Sparky,

He's not "publicly slagging" him! He had made it clear he is not his type of guy and has no future at ibrox! I've read hundreds of posts on here saying MOH is rotten and should be punted but because the gaffer has now said he has no future there's an outcry!
Don't forget by that MOH refused to play for our development team and had been critisied for his attitude all the while sitting taking thousands of pounds a week from us guys that pay money see him not perform!
Pedro would have seen this guy day in day out and if he didn't fancy him then tuff.
Frankly I love the comment "he's not the type of player required to play for Rangers".
Pedro isn't daft, he' knows MOH isn't up for it and it's alright scoring a few goals for another team, St J fans aren't going to be demanding 3 points every week, MOH will be in his comfort zone up there.

15.) 26 Aug 2017 14:49:04
87Henderson

Yes but the people who slag him off on here aren't his boss. I would also suggest that the manager is hardly in a position to say that about anyone at the club given some of the results we have had under him. Maybe MOH isn't the type of player needed at Rangers but is Pedro the type of manager required at Rangers?

16.) 26 Aug 2017 19:02:56
He won't be saying anything that he hasn't already said to his face so I don't see the issue here

08 Aug 2017 20:55:17
Windass is due great credit for his start to the season and his pace, strength and skill have been excellent. Defensive lapse aside his first half performance at Fir Park was as good as anything Barrie McKay could produce. Needs to build on that now and become real player for rangers.

Fd

1.) 09 Aug 2017 11:39:16
He's had 1 good half of football in how many pre season games. Be different if 10 games in and he has produced the goods in both halfs. Plus his fault for goal in Luxembourg

08 Jul 2017 14:39:16
Any news on arranging pre-season games. Badly need competive workouts over the next 4 weeks if we are to have chance of getting off to a flyer in the league.

Fd

1.) 08 Jul 2017 19:28:21
Had a message from my son that we lost 1-2 to Tynecastle FC today with SIX first teamers in the team, if so, Pedro has got to get a grip pretty quickly!

2.) 08 Jul 2017 19:50:16
I don't think Pedro would've had much involvement today and the 1st team lads involved are all the one's we want rid off!
Still a poor result tho

3.) 08 Jul 2017 20:08:23
Is that team Lee Wallace coaches in his free time?

23 Jun 2017 09:53:23

Fd

1.) 23 Jun 2017 10:36:29
that would actually be a great idea! better than the horrific pies we get!

2.) 23 Jun 2017 13:12:11
Rangers would make a lot more cash if they employed food vendors that walk up and down the terrace stairs. Quite a few folks probably can't be bothered standing in huge queue's at half time. It would definitely be a first in Scottish football and a further revenue stream.

3.) 23 Jun 2017 14:34:20
Alresford blue, you are spot on. Iv been to several baseball matches in the states and it works.

4.) 23 Jun 2017 15:13:42
I'm the same AyrBlue that's where the idea came from. It doesn't seem to be too intrusive on the game either. You could use contactless payment rather than sifting about for change. Would also add to the match day experience.

5.) 23 Jun 2017 16:04:57
It would probably get vetoed due to health and safety no doubt getting a luke warm pie on your crotch or a bovril so hot satan sh1t it out himself 😂😂

21 Jun 2017 19:25:23
Great news that old deal with SD terminated and replaced by a fair commercial arrangement that will maximise return to the club. Well done guys, all that boycotting SD stores and not purchasing replica kits has worked. People Power and we are the people. Congratulations to DK and his team.

Fd

1.) 21 Jun 2017 22:51:48
Next season when the kit manufacturer is up for renewal, we should get a great deal from the bidders now they know we're back buying kits and merchandise again

2.) 22 Jun 2017 02:35:45
Correct, Mr Bassy, the real benefit from all of this will come next year when we can negotiate our own way with manufacturers and suppliers. This is where the real money lies and this is when our fortunes will change immeasurably. Can't wait!

Pedro has said we need 4 or 5 captains out there providing leadership throughout the team. As long as Wallace makes the starting 11 he should remain one of them along with Kenny, Alves, Dorrans, Jack and Nico when playing.

TJBB, don't know what sausage suppers and your science honours degree have to do with it. If Pena is injured and not fit we can accept that. That is not the issue. The issue is we invested £3.1m in a player who appears to have baggage on and off the park that is interfering with his ability to perform for us on the park.

FodTP, not sure anyone has said we will return to our past glory days soon but they will definitely return. Don't want go over the skullduggery and mistakes of the recent past and lack of integrity of recent leadership. I for one believe we now have Rangers men leading us and the worst days are behind us.
