Kiernan to Norwich heard it here first. We should go out and get Liam Lindsay.

Cee

1.) 17 Mar 2017 12:01:08
Managerless norwich are after a player?

2.) 17 Mar 2017 17:09:42
He would need to turn in a decent performance before anyone would be after him so Colin Nish I'm afraid.

3.) 17 Mar 2017 17:14:04
Cee, you could have something there mate! Alan pardew was seen sitting beside rob kiernan and speaking away to him, at celtic park last Sunday! Pardew is the big favourite for the norwich city manager's job! Wouldn't surprise me in the least!

4.) 17 Mar 2017 17:44:41
Pardew was a guest of rodgers. Kiernan isn't good enough for the spl never mind the championship.

5.) 17 Mar 2017 18:40:27
Just because pradrew and rod talking he's going to take him. all these fans just 2&2 together and come up with 8. really I still say the loaf of bread will take him.

6.) 17 Mar 2017 20:32:32
Warburton will not come in for a single Rangers player. He brought them to Ibrox and realised they were nowhere near good enough then bailed out before they completely embarrassed him. We're lumbered with them unless maybe a club at their level, like Barrow or Solihull Motors, come into money.

7.) 17 Mar 2017 23:28:56
That's a bit unfair on the players wee ecky. We know some have been disappointing and are nowhere near what we have been used to in the past. Since McCoist then Warburton the signings have been below par. Some well below par. Need to get back to basics in regards to signings.

Couple of solid defenders, two midfielders and an out and out striker for starters. Don't care if Warbs comes in for any of them as long as somebody does and we get what we can for them. Hopefully Pedro has a better eye for players.

8.) 18 Mar 2017 17:39:18
So Gon4, you're saying that I'm being unfair on the players but you immedialtely agree they are poor and that we need at least five more just for starters! What's your point?

9.) 18 Mar 2017 23:57:31
Keirnan would get raped in the championship! the likes of Gayle, Assombalonga, Wells, Rhodes, Baldock and even Jerome would run that guy ragged! there's no way an experienced manager like Pardew would opt for Keirnan i'm afraid! In my opinion Keirnan couldn't cope in league 2.

All that said! I hope someone would like to give us some money for him, cause 2 quid would be a rip off for that guy

10.) 19 Mar 2017 23:56:07
Point is wee ecky that I believe our current squad of players are better than probably both Barrow or Solihull as you compared them to. The squad absolutely does need strengthening if we are to compete for the league so therefore we must add quality. And as I said I hope Pedro's signings will be of a better standard than the previous managers.

12 Feb 2017 15:16:13
Does anyone know about the Ross Wilson links? I highly doubt he would leave southampton for us but stranger things have happened.

Cee

1.) 12 Feb 2017 15:51:40
Why leave a team that's got money to spend on players for us that can only pay £250k for a keeper that's sitting on the bench.

No offence guys but at the moment I don't think anyone wants to touch us. Big ECK said he's a gers man he would probs do the job for nothing but as I said on banter. give the job to Murty he might bring up youth players he knows them and their talents.

01 Jan 2016 18:27:47
Osman sow signing then lol?

Cee

1.) 01 Jan 2016 20:13:38
There's a few names like Sow popping up on that wiki page. Looks like it's been hacked/tampered with!

2.) 01 Jan 2016 23:13:11
Not such a bad idea all the same, we need a big target man and he is available on a pre contract, seen worse been banded about on here recentlty.

3.) 03 Jan 2016 08:22:13
Ronaldinho is not going to move to Glasgow for 10k a week haha crack me up like.

17 Jul 2015 19:14:14
Wigan athletic have accepted a second bid from rangers supposedly,

Cee

1.) 17 Jul 2015 20:41:22
I hate to state the obvious.but who or what are you talking about. Gonny geez a clue?

17 Jul 2015 07:31:59
Stevie may deal is apparently a "done deal", season long loan with option to buy for 700k.

Cee

1.) 17 Jul 2015 08:03:47
That would be a surprise I thought Dundee Utd wanted to buy him, although that could well have been paper talk. time will tell I suppose

2.) 17 Jul 2015 09:56:42
Would definitely love this to have some substance but I have my doubts sadly :(

3.) 17 Jul 2015 10:21:10
Would bee ideal he's a natural goal scorer but will believe it when I see him with the gers top on

4.) 17 Jul 2015 13:23:49
No no no no! This would be a horrific mistake if they were to sign him! Hope this is rubbish!

5.) 17 Jul 2015 14:29:44
dont think this is true I hope not don't fancy him

6.) 17 Jul 2015 16:54:55
He would be a great signing young and has the potential to develop

A lot of talk about naismith coming back in the summer. I know A lot people don't like him because he left but if he does join what position do people think he is best?

I like him through the middle behind a striker but also think a fit Josh windass will prove to be an excellent player so maybe naismith would play out wide.

Cee

1.) 19 Apr 2017 15:47:27
Windass has been very disappointing he showed a few signs of what he can do hopefully he can come onto a game and be a big player for us but so far not convinced

{Ed039's Note - he probably could have benefited from a loan similar to Crooks)

2.) 19 Apr 2017 16:26:45
I like him at Norwich and nowhere near the club. Remember this is a guy who held and press conference to tell everyone that the club died. Do we really want those kind of people at the club.

3.) 19 Apr 2017 18:58:33
He's a footballer not a lawyer. Who cares what has been said, they're not exactly known for their brains.

4.) 19 Apr 2017 19:06:52
Windass doesn't look interested to me. With any luck pedro will get more out of him next season. As for naismith he's probably best behind the striker

5.) 19 Apr 2017 19:28:22
Did Richard Gough not say something similar about us not being the same club?

6.) 19 Apr 2017 20:00:46
Good one to kick off the post Cee with "there's a lot of talk about Naismith. " Haven't heard or read a single word until you mentioned it. Got to laugh at how to start a rumour.

7.) 19 Apr 2017 20:24:29
Cee

Don't understand your comment about him not being a lawyer. What's that got to do with what he did and said? He deserted the club then had the audacity to hold a press conference. Now is career has taken a nose dive and some want him back.

8.) 19 Apr 2017 21:56:13
Fraser the rumour has been doing the rounds for some time a dunno what truth is in it but it's been going for a wee while now

9.) 20 Apr 2017 00:07:30
A few words regarding any possibility of bringing stevie naismith back to glasgow rangers - No thank you!

10.) 20 Apr 2017 01:02:39
Personally I would have him back, he is better than anything we have up front at present and if he can help us regain the league that is all that matters.

11.) 20 Apr 2017 11:36:59
I've heard it's already a done deal. He didn't "hold a press conference", the club did and put him out there. Nobody had a clue what was happening at the time and he said a couple of words big deal. Walter Smith wasn't exactly saying we were the same club at the time either was he.

Naismith is better than any player at the club right now and that includes the 2 players on loan.

12.) 20 Apr 2017 11:48:43
I care and I would never support him, there's plenty of other footballers out there, I totally understand why he left, but that press conference topped everything for me.

13.) 20 Apr 2017 17:03:07
bengy, can i ask you something mate?
do you like kenny miller? would you like to see him here next season as well or would you rather he never came back at all?

as footballers do things and say things but i'm sure you have never said anything you regretted later. kenny miller didn't just join the manky mob, he kissed the badge when he scored against us so its a bit hypocritical of people like yourself that have double standards.

my standard is if they would improve my team then sign them if they don't then don't. but naisy has been a top player throughout his career and has handled himself very well all things considered.

14.) 22 Apr 2017 10:00:56
Out of all the players he would be the one i would most dislike coming back. Firstly The guy is a ned. Secondly the wheels fell off our season

17 Feb 2017 12:22:40
If mcleish does get the job let's hope he can get us some centre back like boumsong or kyriakos!

Cee

1.) 17 Feb 2017 14:30:56
Big soto was a bombscare😱

2.) 17 Feb 2017 15:06:14
Big Boumsong eh, only kept him for 6 months then punted to Newcastle for about 6m if I remember. Good player.

3.) 17 Feb 2017 15:11:50
Bougherra is coming back

4.) 17 Feb 2017 15:14:26
JLS not in his first 6 month mate. Yip big eck got us some solid defenders like big marv, boumsong and big soto as well

5.) 17 Feb 2017 19:35:40
JLS how can you say kygriakos was a bomb scare wow the man was a big animal in defence with major strenth and power his defending was a 8/ 10 on most match days and he played a decent game in the champions league too . your just talking nonesense mate haha

6.) 18 Feb 2017 09:43:53
Not for me wes1 i thot he was a nightmare. he was world class if your comparing him to the defenders that are ther just now.

27 Oct 2016 08:13:16
did people expect us just to come back up the leagues and be as good as we once were? it takes time to build a team no matter how much money you throw at it or not it takes time.

honestly their is literally no support at ibrox and hasn't been for a long time, no atmosphere (except union bears or whatever) all fans want to do is criticise the manager and certain players.

Cee

1.) 27 Oct 2016 09:16:39
Am sure Chelsea through serious cash at mourinho and he won the league first time of asking, that never took any time. Some fans just better accept warburton is failing miserably! Why won't yous criticise the guy it's just blind faith, surely you can see we've been terrible?

2.) 27 Oct 2016 09:18:37
And how much time will it actually take? How long are you willing to wait until this team gels? Cause it seems to me some fans are willing to wait years? Well I ain't another 2 points dropped! Warbs must go!

3.) 27 Oct 2016 09:44:55
Cee

That team isn't a work in progress and Warburton isn't building anything. We are a team full of very average players. In 10 games no one has shone and the standard of football has been poor. With the exception of MOH there is no pace in the team and very little creativity. 4 wins out of 10 simply isn't good enough no player has scored more than 2 goals in the league and we have conceded as many as we have scored. That's the sort of statistics you expect from Kilmarnock or Ross County clubs with no money to spend.

4.) 27 Oct 2016 10:48:17
Have to agree with you Cee the atmosphere at Ibrox is rubbish, all the fans do is get on the players back's. The best atmosphere I can remember was the motherwell game back when we got demoted. The place was buzzing that night. Shame it can't be like that all the time eh. We should try and organise a full stadium bouncy!

5.) 27 Oct 2016 11:06:54
aye chelsea threw series cash won the league and for a number of years had to throw even more cash at it just like city.

I have criticised Warburton some of his decisions have imo been stupid but somethings have been out of his control. I'm willing to back a manager who has a style, has a way of playing football and has a plan rather than go back to managers like mccoist, smith and eck who just want to spend money on the best players and expect individuals to win the league.

{Ed001's Note - on the Mourinho point, Chelsea were a title challenger in the previous season under Ranieri. Then they threw serious cash at Jose to win it. It wasn't like they got promoted, changed manager, then threw wads of cash at a manager to win it.}

6.) 27 Oct 2016 14:01:09
exactly ed.

if we go out buy 5 or 6 top players (like Barton and kranjcar eh? ) win the league how long can the success go before you need to go out and buy another 5 or 6 players.

the foundations are being laid we are a long way behind the celtic but they have spent big money on players, we haven't.

{Ed001's Note - and they have had stability for a long time.}

23 Oct 2016 17:35:26
that's the best team in Scotland we played today. bow much did they pay for players in the sumer and for their manager? it's early, we are just back from a few years down five the manager time. it could be worse we could be man utd fans.

give celtic fans their few weeks of celebration it gives them a self confidence that they are something special.

Cee

1.) 23 Oct 2016 17:44:12
thats a shocking post Cee. Man U have just burst the bank on the most expensive player in the world in pgba and also have Ibra so money isn't the be all. our tactics were shocking and our players / manager looked happy that it was only 1-0 which is shocking from a Rangers team.

2.) 23 Oct 2016 17:45:28
seriously Cee, even with thompson giving you your usual helping hand you done nothing the whole game, you set up not to get pumped, my gers mates are raging, as they said it was more of a training match for us, but if your happy that's all that matters.

3.) 23 Oct 2016 17:50:51
Does anybody else agree Halliday looked like he was running on sand and that was in first half. The guy ran his heart out but looked heavy legged early on.

4.) 23 Oct 2016 17:53:27
Alrite Bhoy uz won mate but don't get para abt the ref. if mckay gets booked then so has dembele got to be booked, he made a couple of mistakes but he's only human so go enjoy yourself instead of playing with yourself trolling a Gers page.

5.) 23 Oct 2016 18:15:20
Agree aboht halliday jaws, we don't look as fit as we could be, warbs said hill (38years) finished middle of the pack kn a fitness test this week! I would be docking pay cheques for the ones he beat! Shocking!

6.) 23 Oct 2016 18:15:57
Jaws - After a gruelling CL tie on Wednesday they still looked fitter than us which struck me as odd.

7.) 23 Oct 2016 18:21:57
aye man utd spent all that money and are worse than last year. the referee did his best to help celtic as did th3 linesman as your goal shouldn't have counted bhoy wonder even Sutton couldn't deny it lmao. brown should never have been on the park after his tackle on halliday according to the new rules that was a straight red.

8.) 23 Oct 2016 18:24:42
Let's be honest here. We all hate getting beat, especially from Celtic. We have to be realistic so maybe a top 3 or 4. Remember guys we don't have the budget yet so we have to be real.

9.) 23 Oct 2016 18:29:02
Cmon blue its common knowledge that thompson can't stand us, i don't reckon mckay shouldve been booked, nothing wrong with erics goal that got chopped off, and i never mentioned the game pal, only that if OP is happy with what he saw then that's just wrong imo, are you happy wi what you saw today blue?

10.) 23 Oct 2016 19:01:14
Defo not happy Bhoy and fully deserved your victory but to come on and berate refs is beyond paranoid, i could go on for days abt desicions that have ent against us but i'm ugly enuf to know its happened both ways. that's the difference between u and i.

11.) 23 Oct 2016 19:53:57
no chance blue, i'm not one of the paranoid brigade, its been well documented that thompson and his family have close ties with rangers. that was my point in fairness, that how can he be put in charge when its his own team?, that's like putting rod stewart in charge next time, do you disagree that our standards of refs are shocking mate, the fact that there's more headlines about refs f**king up than the actual games is terrible.

12.) 23 Oct 2016 20:55:30
Something WAS wrong with the Erik's goal.

13.) 23 Oct 2016 23:38:34
Bhoywonder, the ref definetly fecked up today as griffith wss offside when he collected the bsll, before the delivery into the box, fact.

14.) 24 Oct 2016 06:58:08
Bhoy cast your mind back to cis cup final 2011.CT was in charge thar day, he awarded jelavic a pen and in the space of 2 secs he booked him for diving then in extra time charlie mulgrew brings jelavic down when last man and only gets a yellow so spare me the guff. and the Rod Stewart statement was terrible btw.

09 Oct 2016 09:05:55
games like that one last night make me miss berti vogts!

Cee

Always liked Newcastle too, mainly because of Shearer.
