Not been on this site for a while but was pulled back to it by the Alloger stuff on our site - to see what the crack was.
My intention was to read some of the comments (pretty sad reading tbh at times from everyone) and come back with some Weapons Grade Balonyium to get the comedy hackles going.
I don't know if it's you NessBear in your avatar, but seeing that picture made all the nonsense I intended irrelevant and childish (perhaps my forte? ) . I hope you're well buddy and on the road to recovery. I wish you (or whoever) all the best - but not your team!

Give it a rest? Have you looked at the comments made by Celtic fans on your pages and on here? You are in no position to come here telling us to give it a rest when you and the rest are relentless with the hatred and bile.

This is on the wrong page! It should have been on the SPFL one and is in response to the spat going on there. It would make more sense in that context.
Barrowlad - just the total toot people on both sides talk about religion and hatred and bile on these sites before engaging their brains. A prime example being Colin who has just jumped in two footed by accusing me of having hatred and that I'm full of bile.
Colin1968 - simmer buddy - I'm asking EVERYONE to give it a rest - both sides. It's tumshies like you that come out with "you and the rest are relentless with the hatred and bile" that are an issue, talk about blinded and lack ironic undertanding! . The Ed rightly gave a person on the SPFL page a dressing down for idiotic generalisations - I guess it applies to you too. I have absolutely no hatered for any Rangers fan and I don't think any real "bile" is tolerated by any of the Ed's on these sites. Some near the knuckle stuff maybe, but not "bile". To have hatred for Rangers fans would be to hate my own family (my father among them), "so give it a rest" Colin. It's interesting that you ignore that I found it saddening to read the nonsense and I'm so full of "hatred" and "bile" that you TOTALLY ignored my concern and wishes for what I assume is a Rangers fan recovering in hospital. If that is a measure of my "hatred" and "bile" then long may it continue. It will be intersting to see if you reply with an apology - either way it will be very telling about the type of person YOU are.

Our Ed wouldn't dare vilify me AlloaGer! If he did, and I doubt he ever would, then it would be water off a ducks back anyway. I think this site has the edge on ours in respect that it allows the fans of other teams to post to the SPFL page. The problem was that it seems that some of your "fans" were taking it way too far with threats etc to our Ed. from that perspetive I can see his reticence in allowing it to happen again.
As far as your name being thrown about - I'm on the same page as you now buddy if you read Colin's post. Apparantly I'm full of H8 and bile! If any of you have ever read my posts then yes I'm a cheeky tw*t at times - but H8 and bile? Hmmm.

Stubbies i agree with you. BOTH sides need to give it a rest and stop the BS. Like you i have family members who are celtic fans and my best mate is also. No hatred no bile
My personal issue with your post tho ( and if i'm wrong then ill own it and apologise) but i can't see any posts on your own page regards telling your posters and your ED to give it a rest etc?

Everyones issue on here is the number of posts on your pages that go unchallanged by your ED and the nonsense he post. As you will see and have commented on, our EDs call it out and don't fuel the fire.

Yes stubbsie that is me in the avatar fresh out of surgery that was a total waste of time and effort due to the cancer been spread like wildfire . but hey ho such is life thanks for your concern and wishes.
I have been fighting the oesophageal cancer for 3yrs now same cancer that took the goalie but reached the end of treatment myself and its just a matter of how long can I keep fighting to live am told less than 12months . but am a determined soul I reckon I can at least get 13 months ???.

Glad you tho k that about our site, I’m guessing our Ed sees loads of in appropriate material but he’ll either refrain from posting or he’ll post it then explain to them how moronic their behaviour is. Colin - you say you are condeming hatred and bile - what do you think my post is about? I appaud you for calling it out too, and it was not lost on me, but that is not my issue - it's with you. I am merely responding to you because you said I was full of it, and you couldn't be further from the truth if you tried. That can't go unchallenged. You have singulary ignored my points again, because you have no answer.
Colin - looks like our definitions of "bile" differ chief. Making a purile comment on an atrocious singer totally lacking in self awareness is not "bile". Ill conceived maybe - but not "bile". There was no allusion to either her religion, caste or team. So how is it "bile"? I remember one of your guys posted a terrible picture of a massive Celtic fan and slaughtered him - I'm not going to say "what-a-bootery" because I found the comedy in it in the same vein as the "singer". The Rangers fans on this post never mentioned his religion, caste or even his team - it was NOT "bile" then and the singer comment isn't either. I suggest you stay clear from comedy clubs as the material may "offend". I don't intend to defend any other posts I have written either -so don't even try as the reply will be the same.
If you want to just disregard my last post in it's entirety then I think we have taken this as far it can go - don't you? You're not to be reasoned with. If you still think you don't have to apologise for calling me hateful and full of bile and that I must therefor hate my own father (and sister, in-laws, cousins and great freinds etc) because he likes a football team then you aren't worth the ink mate. If you knew my family history you'd fall of your chair Colin.
jbf - there has been posters on our site that have called it out when some Celtic fans have stepped out of line - but as you say some don't see anything wrong at times - ever. Just a general cross section of society I guess. I personally would like to see fans of other teams post. Having said that - I think the Eds do a great job filtering the real horrid stuff you find on other sites.

Fact is, you DID actually join in with one of the worst threads of hatred aimed at ALL Rangers fans that has appeared on the Celtic pages for a long time. Saying your father is Rangers fan HERE while joining in on the other side? Okay, whatever. I'll leave you to dig yourself deeper.

Keep posting on here chief as I'm sure some of the great guys on here will keep your pep up. Make sure you make a complete nuisance of yourself with them nurses though!

I would hate to see the utter moronic stuff the Eds have to deal with at times - but I imagine as these sites are relatively balanced that these types of posters don't last long with us.

I have been reading this site for couple of years and the have only ever seen the hatred being shot down. One of the reasons I regularly visit this site. Compared to other social media platforms it is full of gentlemen (apologies to any ladies) . I really don't think your post has any relevance here and find it strange personally when any true football fan goes onto another teams site. To all regular posters on this site and the eds. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

We will just have to agree to disagree Colin - you can obviously interpret what you want how you want in my posts - and you do. I guess you are pretty hopless at reading a room too. I used to post regulary on here back in the day and there were some great guys on it. Then there was the intransigent people like yourself that ruined it. You have been "singled out" because you personally accused me of being full of hatred - should that be left unchallenged? Is that how it works in your world? Did I jump on the AlloaGer posts on our site - nope, surely a man such as you suggest I am would have dived in with alacrity? I wish you well. Will I still be pulling the legs of Rangers (and other teams on their sites as it's not all about Rangers you know! ) on my site? You betcha and I'd hope you guys would continue likewise.
TGxxx - I too have read post on here shouting down the nonsense back in the day - it was refreshing to see on a Rangers site and one of the reasons I began posting. My post has relevance everywhere there is "nonsense" although this one has taken a lengthy direction I hadn't intended. Any "true football fan" is just that - they love football in all its guises and not polarised to one team. Supporting Rangers doesn't preclude you from learning about others - should you want to.

the ed on your site has allowed the most vitriol I've ever seen on these pages, he also refers to our club in derogatory terms, the eds on here don't indulge in the same childish behaviour
i saw the editor repeatedly refer to people who voted tory " the **** of the earth ", if that's not hatred i don't know what is mate, btw, i'm not a tory voter.
