agree on boyle coop good player great engine
sad to say i’ve come to thinking maybe we need a solid RB too.
we loose far too many goals and it’s hurting us yr in yr out
there i’ve said it i think the lads a good footballer but our defence is no where near uo to winning a title.

Agree Trev, Tavernier is a good player, but a hellish defender, I think if he was played as an attacking RMF, he would be more relaxed, and create a lot for us.

I reckon that a lot will depend on who we sell. If we keep Borna Barasic then we just need backup for left back. If we sell Goldson then we need to bring in a better centre back and if we sell Morelos then we need a top quality striker and we still need backup. Irrespective of who we sell, if anyone, in midfield I still reckon that we need a midfield enforcer. For me we should sell Kamara if we receive an offer, Davis is not the player he was and we can't be relying on Arfield, Hagi and Jack for every game. We also, probably need a right winger unless we could play Tav in that role in which case we need a right back, (although McCrorie might be an option for that role) . In terms of players coming in, there are some good players at the end of their contracts in Italy and Germany as well as England that could be the answer without too much up front cost.

Tav a good player but a hellish defender! Well considering he is a defender that makes him a hellish player! Don’t see how moving a hellish player to another position is somehow going to turn him into a great player. We don’t need defenders in midfield we need energetic creative ball players with an eye for goal.

Totally agree. Decent player though Tav is he does not have the mentality or concentration levels necessary to win the league. If he did he would playing at a higher level than the SPFL. In his time at Rangers this is the part off his game he needed to work on and clearly he has not or has failed to improve especially in big games.
