Defensively, we were poor. Goldson struggles against a strong centre half and was bullied all day yesterday. Souttar unfortunately not good enough and I would go as far to say looks overweight. don't get Tav haters as without him we would be so worse off.
If he played in England, people would be raving about him and would be mentioned round about English team. Still think from yesterday, Silva not shown anything yet, thought dessers done well and he is getting better every week.
McCausland could do with a break and used sparingly, as has looked like a wee boy recently in games. Still believe we will win league but cannot afford anymore slip ups like yesterday.

Other way about in my opinion, goldson declining, souttar better but does look at the clouds at times, for me a fit balogun starts. Tavs goals amazing, defending is improved under PC, in the past it was woeful, discussed at length across stream thru the week.

Mckerns not having a go mate but silva was good when he cam on very creative and dessers again was very poor. I agree on you with tav (only this season) he's vastly improved his defending and not making many mistakes, take away his pens he's still hitting double figures.

Sorry I saw it differently yesterday thought Dessers put in a lot of effort but not clinical enough or sniffing out chances when the game is tight like that, I thought when Silva came in we looked more of a threat up top, he drops into pockets that defenders don’t want to go into, also penalty came from him.
He isn’t a poacher type or someone that will score you 30 goals a season but I believe he’s a good forward.

Dessers didn’t have a good game but he had no service as we have no fit wingers now.

Thought silva was good when he came on, dessers was no bad, agree re McCausland he's looked a bit lost last 2/ 3 games, think his confidence has dipped a bit, he is still learning his craft though.

I said back in Jan that I worried for us if Dessers was what we went with to win league (please let me be wrong) .
Souttar is constantly played on left of 2, wonder how goldson would fair played there (probably not as good as souttar in my opinion) .
Tav, incredible numbers going forward and has improved a lot defensively but has loft that type of goal far too many times.

Silva must play for me. His best position is clearly no10. Cantwells best position too but when both in team Silva can play as false 9 as he's clever enough to do that but needs a Cantwell with him.

Silva better on left coming in. Not 10. Even better on right. He will replace missing wingers as will Sterling.
Dessers and Roofe thru middle. Wouldn’t be surprised if Roofe starts Thursday. Potentially Silva left and Dessers right, but suspect Sterling for defending abilities.
Not a Souttar fan but he’s stepped up big style recently but will always guarantee a mistake which almost always leads to a goal.
Our best ally right now is Celtic! They are as in big a mess as 55 run in.
If Brendan Rogers wasnt called Brendan he would have been sacked! His reign is God awful. He’s an imposter.
PC will bring the team back together over these next 2 games which let be honest we would all sacrifice for the league.

Bad goal from Tav perspective to lose at back post - but ALL defence are guilty of ball watching and just look at number of goals we lose from corners/ set pieces due to the same schoolboy marking - we have no leader and coordinator in defence - just Goldson flailing his arms about when we lose a goal and usually it is actually his fault - I always get the fear at set pieces due to these facts!

I have changed my mind on Tav defensively this season as he has been better always said he was great going forward but no matter what country he plays in he wouldn’t be near England team.

As you know storm, tav is one of my favourite players at ibrox and i rate him highly and always have done ?I've constantly stuck up for tav against a good few on here but i do agree with you in both instances mate ? Tav has improved a lot defensively this season and although i think tav is a very good attacking right back, i also don't think he'd get near the england team as they 've got super right backs in kyle walker, trent alexander arnold, kieran trippier etc ?.

Again I'll repeat I don't think any rangers fan is a tav hater but everyone can see he's not a good defender push tav forward and play a more defensive player at r could be the solution short term.

SWS agree with u about England RB's, Walker 100%, Tripper reasonable, can be a greeting faced so n so, Arnold good at what he does, but gets smoke blown up his archie by comms doing games his team isn't even playing in, does my nut in, mentioned every couple of mins in one of the games last week.
