Any news on Matthew Stevens of Barnet that we were linked with a few months ago?

07 May 2016 22:39:49
Good for a 147.

08 May 2016 08:28:15
Not so much lately!

07 May 2016 19:21:40
Quick question guys, if Newcastle are relegated does Ashley have to sell his shares with us?

07 May 2016 19:35:10
Either us or Newcastle.

07 May 2016 19:51:28
Has he not tried to sell Newcastle already and struggled to offload it?

07 May 2016 20:18:44
He'll not sell Newcastle they owe him too much money.

07 May 2016 20:40:55
As far as I remember I'm sure he had a couple of good offer but he wanted a ridiculous amount which nobody was willing to pay.

07 May 2016 20:44:45
He says he's not selling Newcastle for any price until they win a trophy or qualify for champs league.

07 May 2016 21:04:19
Forfarger ashey is owed about 85 million by newcatle, so if he gets that 85 million back i think he would sell them for a penny lol.

07 May 2016 21:07:30
He says he is committed to N'castle so who am I to doubt him.
If FA tell him to sell I don't think there is a must be done by date.

07 May 2016 21:08:35
Geordie pals say it was MA who dumped him because of a personal (non football) issue.

07 May 2016 22:36:03
Lol he prob would bigjoh, I heard he wanted upwards of 200 million for newcastle.

07 May 2016 22:43:27
Deeb i would think the opposite mate, surely he would be giving a date to sell his shares in rangers, or else hee wouldn't sell them, i also see he is closing the sports direct store at there ground,

07 May 2016 23:13:40
Forfarger aye its about a hundred million they owe ashley, and he wants the other 100 million for his shares, which are very high, so the 2nd millions are for the
lplayers, stadium etc. lol no wonder he can't get rid, he is a wealthy hated maan, ide rather be skint than be in his shoes, in regard the hatred for him.

07 May 2016 19:27:20
Who cares about the shares? They're worthless. He'll still have his retail contract.

07 May 2016 19:49:11
Football league rules state that any owner of a football club must not also have a controlling intrest in any other football club. with 2 board members and franchise deal that's a controlling intrest.

08 May 2016 10:37:19
Big John
I read about the Leeds guy when he was told to sell his shares that he could wait until a suitable offer to both the FA -fit and proper person - and him in terms of payment but no time limit on it
mind you they can make the rules up to suit themselves.

08 May 2016 12:01:28
Deeb, aye mate, just like the sfa. lol.

08 May 2016 12:26:42
Tam, it is about control of the club. I imagine he can sell them to someone working on his behalf, and no one could prove it otherwise. We are stuck with the person for some time yet.

07 May 2016 23:24:20
As everyone on this site knows newcastle utd are my favourite english club and always have been, I very much think its gone now and sadly the toon are going down, to answer the selling of nufc it was wwe guru vince mcmahon who was very interested in buying newcastle from mike ashley around 18 months ago, I wish he had bought them although ashley was asking for a ridiculous sum of money, I feel so sorry for all the geordies as they don't deserve this, ashley's me me me approach and the appointment of steve mcclaren as nufc manager are the reasons that this great club is about to be relegated!

07 May 2016 17:17:29
If Sunderland beat Everton in Tuesday Newcastle are relegated. shame for the Newcastle fans but great to see Ashley's team down.

07 May 2016 19:31:57
There fans forced Pradew out if they didn't they wouldn't be in this position he wouldn't have them in the bottom 3.

07 May 2016 20:50:39
Ryan

They struggled under Pardew and could easily have been bottom 3 with him in charge.

07 May 2016 20:10:32
Pardew couldn't wait to get out mate, as soon as he paid Ashley back what he owed him for his mad gambling habit.

07 May 2016 17:17:29
If Sunderland beat Everton in Tuesday Newcastle are relegated. shame for the Newcastle fans but great to see Ashley's team down.

07 May 2016 17:33:59
Forfar is it not the case newcastle need to beat spurs to have any chance of not going down.?

07 May 2016 17:45:53
No if Sunderland win they go 4 clear of Newcastle with only 3 points to play for as Sunderland have a game more to play (Tuesday against Everton) before last game of season.

07 May 2016 17:48:01
Forfarbear i agree with you in re the newcastle fans, but ide rather there club went down to rid us of ashley, end going by there supporters they know ashley is there problem, i would love to see them doing whatever it took to get rid of ashley, boycotts etc.

07 May 2016 17:49:52
Wednesday, not Tuesday mate, my bad.

07 May 2016 18:12:32
Yeah agree, the guy is rotten to the core, definetly a guy any football club could do without!

07 May 2016 19:31:57
Ashley would only need to sell his 8% shares he would still have the retail contract so we wouldn't get rid of him that easy.

07 May 2016 20:52:45
All Ashley will do is sell his shares to one of his goons and would still be in the background. It's not the shares that are the problem it's that ridiculous kit agreement.

07 May 2016 22:12:05
that's the problem he's still got the gers by the short
and currlies but its nice to see him losing money else where we badly need to get the retail contract sorted.

07 May 2016 23:16:18
Biffo, selling to one of his goons so as the goon would also be hated by us, i don't think its as simle as that mate.

07 May 2016 18:03:21
Yup if newcastle lose to spurs then bye bye. could this season get any better.

07 May 2016 16:30:30
What's your thoughts?

Billy Mackay goes back to Wigan 62 goals in 3 seasons with Inverness.
Would he be a useful addition to the squad if Wigan want to sell him?

07 May 2016 17:27:47
Hes been rubbish this season with utd . no thanks.

07 May 2016 18:28:40
But so have Utd.
Average of 20 a season for Mackay with Inverness proven goalscorer.

07 May 2016 19:35:48
Not needed we needs a big burly centre forward who going to batter the opposition defence.

07 May 2016 16:13:26
I seen Motherwell make a move for Faissal El Bakhtaoui. I know he scored a lot in lower divisions. Would you have him at us?

07 May 2016 16:52:36
I like him in the clips I've seen, I would of took a chance on him definitely.

07 May 2016 18:29:28
Need experienced striker.

07 May 2016 15:22:57
Think Rangers should consider Scott Parker from Fulham, experienced player and contract runs out in June.

07 May 2016 17:25:32
Very good player.

07 May 2016 17:25:32
Very good player.

07 May 2016 18:30:11
Very high wages.

07 May 2016 17:25:03
Jamesy, sorry mate but that's another day dream opinion. This guy must be on 40k a week. Yes he has experience but he ain't gona be setting foot in ibrox unless it's for a friendly match.

07 May 2016 18:23:32
Would have scott parker up here at ibrox in minute, in fact I'd go down to london and drive him up here myself if he would definitely sign for us! He has the massive experience and combative midfield style we've been crying out for, tremendous midfielder even at 35 years old and could easily play up here in the scottish premiership for the next few years, go get him warbs!

08 May 2016 17:20:27
I would love to get someone like that, a quality player to give a bit of razzamatazz
and show everyone WE'RE BACK.

07 May 2016 12:02:32
What does everyone think about the prospect of sone aluko. He's out of contract. Still young at 27. Wouldn't cost anything in transfer fee and would add about 3 million in market value?

07 May 2016 13:00:33
Out of all the ex players I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

07 May 2016 13:17:07
I would love to get Aluko.

07 May 2016 13:34:30
Good shout I reckon.

07 May 2016 13:51:06
I would take him.

07 May 2016 14:22:09
Bring him back, he would love it here under this regime, our all out attack would suit his style I'm sure.

07 May 2016 15:10:10
If he is only 27, he must have used the same registrar as Roger Milla.

07 May 2016 13:34:45
Defenitly take him back but again wages be a problem.

07 May 2016 15:22:51
Vladimir wiess as well would have a great attacking team.

07 May 2016 19:19:30
Loved Aluko, if he could fit into whatever system MW s plan is def, great skill and loved his time at Gers .
Just hope we get a powerful defender that can be a presence in our box, shit myself every time Celtic got a corner against us, the one that scored also had another three attempts!

07 May 2016 08:42:48
Seen a few clips on YouTube on Jordan rossiter looks decent kind of like a young Steven Gerrard and he is half the player he was then Wee got a gem on our hands.

07 May 2016 12:43:57
would be a great coup if wee frank could tempt Jason Rossiter to sign for us. If he's as good as Leonard Rossiter we'll be laughing. P.S. showing my age.

07 May 2016 14:18:00
Certainly are showing your age there. Great comic actor though.

07 May 2016 13:05:53
Ha ha blue bear, I'm also showing my age as leonard rossiter is one of my all time favourite actors, I was always in stitches watching rising damp when he played rigsby, on a more serious note what a coup for us if we can sign young liverpool midfielder jordan rossiter, he's a terrific young talent and fingers crossed our great chief scout frank mcparland can persuade him to sign, the liverpool connection might swing it for us, here's hoping anyway!

07 May 2016 17:27:12
Vienna the cat always got a hard time. 😀.

07 May 2016 07:33:34
I will b honest don't know much about Jordan Rossiter but watched a few video's and if we do manage to get him over the line looks like a cracking piece of business possibly could play as our cdm seams thts where he was playing in most the games I watched . talented young last well done to the the staff if we get this done.
