Seen a post the other day about donating the prize money form all competitions to those affected with the corona.

This has to be done in some extent either by the government or some sort of charity because it just seems like everyone's to busy trying the either save money or buy way too much to isolate to think about these people.

at a time like this where a lot of people can't even work something needs to be done to help and support these people.

27 Mar 2020 20:06:46
King's gone, slippery slope now.

27 Mar 2020 21:13:26
Davbeg, aye nae bother mate, cheers for that.

27 Mar 2020 21:06:00
No he has not, he has stood down as chairman, he is still largest shareholder.

27 Mar 2020 22:02:10
Don’t let truth get in way of a Tim fantasy!

27 Mar 2020 23:45:42
The other side still more interested in us. Mr David King said he would stand down in March. So davbeg, your point is?

28 Mar 2020 08:11:01
Davbeg should be more worried about the long term effect of this virus on all Clubs, including Celtic with their £60 Million wage bill.

28 Mar 2020 09:15:12
They have over £30m in their bank, we NEEDED £10m just to see our season out. Think about it.

28 Mar 2020 11:55:25
Celtic wage bill is not 60million there weekly bill is around £895000 ours £649000 ish. Celtic last year profit before taxation of £6.9m our accounts £11 million loss and further £10 million needed to see out season. Unfortunalty the virus will hit us and many other teams extremely hard to a point, where like Hearts our players will be asked to half their wages etc or be moved on, Celtic will most likely have to do same but not as essential as other team for a period due to their profit margins.
Hard times ahead and do not expect any investors to be joining at this time, no profit and no exact dates for football to start will most likely seeing football mothballed for a period so it is in our best interest to even hope that football without crowds is started and rely on tv revenues etc, which may see investors buying in as tv audiances go skywards.

28 Mar 2020 12:48:22
Isle of Mull u really do not grasp finance.

28 Mar 2020 18:46:13
Rubes12, yip, i hear what your saying, but football without the fans? , plus the players are not going to be playing normal without the crowd, i.m.o., as we see the way we can lift the team, on occasion, lol.

27 Mar 2020 20:03:32
Just read that barisic, hagi, kamberi and morelos have all returned to their home countries. Hoping if we play the rest of our games that having been with his family morelos gets his head straight and comes back firing on all cylinders.

27 Mar 2020 21:16:48
They offered all non nationals the chance to go home. Some said no and stayed in scotland.

27 Mar 2020 23:37:43
Hopefully Morelos stays there as he's a complete liability who throws toys out pram sooner we get rid the better he has clearly downed tools and has showed no interest and is suspended as much as he plays no player is bigger than club time for him to go.

28 Mar 2020 18:48:59
Stiv65, as much as i agree its a good job he never downed tools earlier in the season, or we could be batting with hearts, in a play off.

27 Mar 2020 09:40:37
Any of you guys bored with the cabin fever? Fullmatchsports dot com has loads of games to enjoy. I am currently watching the game at Fraggle Rock on the 29th of December. Lovely jubbly 👌.

27 Mar 2020 10:48:19
love is a many splendid thing.

27 Mar 2020 21:12:47
No cabin fever here - out to work as a critical worker. Think yourself lucky if all you have to worry about is choosing between Netflix and Sky. I also have my wife, my sister, both bothers and laws, sister n law not to mention all my colleagues on the front line, keeping people alive and the country safe.

Trust me folks its not started yet, you might think your watching a movie on Sky News and I can accept that because its so surreal but I plead though please folks for Gods sake do what the government are asking.

27 Mar 2020 21:15:20
Edd replied after along day, sorry Bears I know were all stuck in at some point some more than others and on reflection jumped the gun and probably a bit over sensitive. Sorry all. Get the Netflix on we are all in this together.

{Ed033's Note - Yes TJBB, but we should take notice of the government because according to them: "As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) in the UK" - From Uk Gov web site

27 Mar 2020 22:19:13
TJBB, you should wear a cape. Wind your neck in mate. My wife is a RGN in AE and I am a volunteer at St Andrews first aid. From now on when I am at home. I will sit in a corner in silence in the hope that I don't offend humanity!

27 Mar 2020 22:29:26
IMO, The Gov sat on their hands for a month and it WILL cost lives. They had their fingers in the ears for a number of weeks and only up until the last minute they realized their mathematical model mistake and changed tack last week. Unfortunately they had not ordered ppe/ ventilators to get ahead of the game in time. Isolate, its not about you unless you are vulnerable but you can spread the disease even if you don't have symptoms. Its difficult but not impossible as we often forget however I've seen today people totally ignoring all rules as if its a game.

28 Mar 2020 09:05:18
No offence mate I did wind my neck in 2 minutes after my original post. We are all going to be a bit hot n cold over the next few months. Your wife can borrow my cape if she runs out of PPE. LOL, keep up the good work.

28 Mar 2020 14:02:51
Lol no problem brother 🤣.

Fellow Gers, how do you pause BT Sport as was on phone for 1 hour with no answer and why can't I cancel online like sky? Seems to me they want to just keep taking your money? ✌️🇬🇧.

27 Mar 2020 10:07:23
You should be able to log into your My BT online and change your TV package mate although in some cases I think BT sport is free for people who are on the higher broadband packages option ko n 3 I think so I'm guessing in that case you won't be able to stop it for a short period without cancelling your Broadband.

27 Mar 2020 10:38:01
AyeReady, I have BT on the sky platform and it won’t let you cancel online😢😢😢.

27 Mar 2020 12:16:46
At the moment by not giving option to pause, if you’re in a contract and cancel they will charge you early termination fee scandalous I hope this comes back to bite then.

27 Mar 2020 12:29:10
Virgin media are allowing u to freeze sports channels and restart when u want no asditional costs.

27 Mar 2020 15:00:23
will this allow the tv companies to get out their contracts to football, and stop paying the sponsorship if everyone cancels their packages Branson etc, are not renowned for their philanthropist ways, they like make money not lose it,

27 Mar 2020 19:04:13
I would get my bank to block payment and let them whistle for the rest.

28 Mar 2020 08:15:42
I have BT Sport and this is separate from the rest of my BT Package, simply phone 150, and advise them if you wish to cancel the Sport, it won't affect the rest of your package.

Watched The Moody Blue last night. What a player Davie Cooper was. I can only vaguely remember him in a Rangers shirt but wish I'd seen more of him.

My dad is a Clyde fan and when Clyde moved to Broadwood I remember Cooper playing for Clydebank there in one of the first games played in the stadium. My dad told me to keep my eye on him andbhe didn't disappoint. He was a class act and must have been about 37/ 38 at the time.

27 Mar 2020 12:58:09
Coop a legend forever
What channel was moody blue on?

27 Mar 2020 13:03:36
Its on Rangers YouTube channel mate.

27 Mar 2020 13:47:46
Thanks pal.

27 Mar 2020 13:58:43
Those of us who are unfortunate to be old enough to remember the legend that is Davie cooper have great memories of what a fantastic player he was . Some of the things he could do with the ball, the dribbling, going past great defenders as if the weren't there totally mesmerising . I happened to be in the wrong end with the sheep fans hiding my scarf when he scored that brilliant free kick in the league cup final . what a player who will never be forgotten.

27 Mar 2020 15:02:22
Is that the one Jim Leighton said he almost got a hand to and cooper said aye maybe on the way back out? 😂.

27 Mar 2020 15:27:40
And andy cameron said if it wasnt for the net it would have ended up in rutherglen
Great memory😂👍.

27 Mar 2020 18:15:32
Was at the game at Hampden when he scored that superb goal, what a player, also sandy in royal blue scored a cracker as well.

28 Mar 2020 12:54:54
I was there too right at the corner flag beside the sheep end, and the crack when the ball hit the net had to be heard to be believed, Leighton certainly would only have had one hand left if he'd touched it, great player.

27 Mar 2020 00:38:16
I was reading through Twitter and saw that kamberi is really wanting to stay at rangers. In my opinion I thought he was a breath of fresh air when he came on I was wondering what the rest of you thought about him staying on or leaving.

27 Mar 2020 07:07:09
Sangi180, I also want this lad to stay with us, as you say, he livened things up and created more opportunities when he played.

27 Mar 2020 07:32:57
He has certainly did really well with limited opportunities. Changed a few games for the better. Love his attitude. Only concern is I read he was the same when he was on loan at hibs, then when he got his contract he got too comfortable and his form dipped. Definitely worth a shout at the right price.

27 Mar 2020 07:34:45
Thought he has looked decent when he has played. The problem is that we need more than decent. Any players purchased going forward shouldn't be bulk players, it should be quality replacements for underperforming first team players. Wish Big Flo all the best.

27 Mar 2020 09:37:06
Coi I agree we need to start bringing players in that are going to be first team players to many prchases in the past couple years went to waste.

27 Mar 2020 13:46:10
Neither here nor there on this one. Personally I believe we need players better than this going forward. We've already got enough 'squad' players and that's what he should be, along with four or five who are right now considered to be starters.

27 Mar 2020 17:29:26
Sangil80, i'm loving kamberi, being at ibrox because last year at this time i said to a few of my mates, i'd like to see him at ibrox, now he is here, he better not let me down, lol.
