I disagree. Rohl may have other options. I see nothing wrong with wanting clarity from Rangers after Gérard knocked them back at the weekend. Maybe some of his proposed back room team have been offered other jobs. Waiting to see what happens.

Don't know about pressuring the club but can totally understand wanting an answer so he can get on with the job or look at options. We have a game soon still a chance to save our season and it's starting to drag on. We've know for weeks Martin was needing to go so candidates should have been looked at by now. Or are we just going to wait out of respect for Muscats team for their season to finish before making a decision.

It's feasible that Rohl made contact. Perhaps pressure is the wrong word. He perhaps has other irons in the fire, his backroom staff are asking him for clarity as they have mortgages to pay. So it's not impossible. It's also a rumours site so fair play to Dougie.

If you've never went for two interviews, been offered one of them and then contacted the other prospective employer to say you've had an offer but would like to know if they were going to make an offer before accepting the first offer…you're being underpaid, you're undervalued, your interpersonal skills are non-existent and you're definitely not the right man for the prospective employer.

As i says last night i don't come on this page and comment usually cause some of the stuff is miles off it, but i knew about wallace 3 days ago how, also he was thinking about kenny miller as a coach but was shot down, rohl is confident on his ability and won't wait that's a fact, the Rangers job isn't only one that he's linked with just now as there's a bundesliga team interested in him also. he left a family holiday and was waiting in germany.

Personally out of the 2 I believe Rohl is the better option. Firstly he's nothing like Martin, probably the exact opposite, and it's just lazy for anyone to say that and shows they know nothing about him. If you listen to everyone who has worked with him, under him as a player or knows him they talk about a very pragmatic manager who will change tactics and formation based on the players he has available and the teams he is up against (so no more 'this is the way I play no matter what). He also had to work under very poor conditions at Wednesday and turned around a team that was certain for the drop and made them a mid table team the next season. The Wednesday players all raved about him and talk about how he got the best out of every player and everyone wanted to play for him. I wouldn't mind Muscat but I fear a little that he is another with only one way of playing (even if it sounds like it's an attacking way of playing). Yes he's won things but I have no idea of the standard and type of football that is played in these leagues. I fear if he comes in it will take yet more time to teach the players to play the certain way he wants them to, and will our fans allow that time? Also the uncertainty regarding how long until he will actually be in role?. No matter who gets it I will support them and try and allow time before any judgement. End of the day no one could be as bad as Martin!

Yeah, Rohl has been one of my preferred picks since the summer.
After Martin i can see the benefits of a more experienced coach to help stabilise - hence my hopes of Schmidt.
However wouldn't have any concerns around Rohl being able to move us forward.

Sorry, I wouldn't normally call someone out but if what dougieboy93 says is true then it means Rohl has told someone at Wednesday that he's put the pressure on Rangers, then that person has gone in to the training facility and told everyone there! Find it highly unlikely he would tell ANYONE never mind someone at a club he's no longer associated with, highly unprofessional! And surely he's been told when they'll decide, just like any other job you know it's a process that takes time to decide on the best candidate. He's knows others are being interviewed.

In one post you said you knew about Lee Wallace 2 days ago and on another post 3 days ago??♂️ so we're to believe Rohl still msgs/ talks daily to an ex player (your family member) then your family member phones/ msgs yourself to let you know everything that's said between them!
