The reporter in question regarding coops post which is apparently correct, I read same articles 4,5 days ago, his name is Andy Newport. He correctly predicted mebude was going out on loan. He said we have no interest in Ben Davies or Thomas Robert. We do want Daniel Johnson though. Likely in the summer on a free. The Scott Wright deal, he claims is looking likely now to be a summer deal and that's why it's all went quiet now. Although perhaps the late window deal may happen. I think the Aberdeen fans increasing pressure on McInnes may be the reason the board may not wish to look like they are bending to the will of the Old Firm. Scott Wright would be a good squad signing but we still have Hagi and Roofe will be back soon. i'd prefer Ben Davies over Jack Simpson but the player and Gerrard obviously have to want the move. Simpson hasn't played more than 9 games in a season. Nnamdi Ofoborh is a different kettle of fish there's something about him i like he was heavily involved in the Wycombe side that got promoted from League One to Championship when they were touted for relegation he played in 21 games for them so obviously had some sort of positive impact in the midfield area the kinda battler you want on the pitch for the physical games.

We gave aberdeen a cracking deal for mccrorie. N a swap deal would strengthen them more. Bad choice from aberdeen in my opinion but we can sell stuart or loan him out next season. i'd like to strengthen aberdeen so they can push celtic for 2nd place or even hibs i'd say we should try get nesbit and offer a couple squad players to get off the wage bill helps both ways if u ask me think nesbit would give more goals tht itten a can play a full 90 wkbin wk out we won't have defoe so could be good business.

Broxxibear I agree we go for nisbet. With Defoe likely to leave then we need to fill that position. nisbett looks a player. knows the Scottish game also. i'd offer some1 like Jones or Barker plus couple hundred k.

Nisbet is a Celtic man however so was Neil McCann I don’t think he would knock us back but would prob go to Celtic if was a straight choice. I’d like him to replace Defoe aswell. I don’t want Wright atall but I’ll give him a chance. The big mf from Bournemouth looks like he would be taking zungus place in squad possibly as back up to jack looking at his size and style? I don’t know much about the centre half lad, perhaps it’s katic going on a seasons loan to see where he will be at after his injury and what he’s made of when have a full season somewhere? Edmundson away and we have the 3 we have plus Simpson?

think I read he doesn't support any of the big two, but as records go

For the record. One of my mates, when 16 signed for Celtic grew up rangers fan. Crazy i know. wouldn't be me. But guess was best option for him at the time. Then other players. like craig beattie, scott brown, mccann, scott allan etc etc etc.

Never seen the guy from bournmouth do u rate him highly is he a def mid since he's such well built. If he is agressive along with a big build could be an intimidating player for opponents. i'd try offer stuart n jones for nisbet then with maybe a wee bit cash this window since we will be losing stuart for nothing at end of season. Be good scottish striker for us on substantially lower wages thn defoe. Offer them a player on loan next season too to get off the wage bill n challenge celtic.

agreed, some players are well judged before they bed in
some settle quicker than others
it's a hard game and gamble to get a player you knows going too hit the ground running

Shagger a thought tav and borna did well at 1sr Norma was just being a bit soft for Scottish football I always seen the talent in him I was desperate for him to stay and fulfil what he had. I knew would be big mistake to lose him mate. My point regarding Bournemouth guy isn’t an oppinion of mine mate it’s what would likely happen. We won’t sign him and zungu mate. I have nothing against zungu and agree he hasn’t had many chances. But it doesn’t look like working out regardless of any of our opinions on it mate. John 25 mate the boy is absolutely solid in build a real machine. I’ve not seen him or Simpson play guys I’m simply looking at likely scenario and common sense and what I’ve read. I don’t have an oppinion from my eyes just educated oppinion.

Coops I had read on here the other week that nisbet was a Tim and just went along with it mate. If he isn’t either a stand corrected buddy 👠all the better if he isn’t. And I agree the wages saved on player like Defoe Jones Stewart Murphy mcrorie Edmundson barker zungu anybody else? Would surely find a move for nisbet. We would offer him £5k a week max. Plus say £2m would get him IMO current finances in football all transfer fees would be lower than expected and especially clubs in country’s like our who are absolutely paratted.
