I'm not a doom monger and hope I don't come accross that way but this colak stuff right from the start hasn't filled me with great enthusiasm, out of everyone we could go for we pick a guy who practically put us out the CL qualifiers under our previous management team, to me it looks like Gio or Makaay haven't had an input in it, and it's been on the cards since Gerrard, I could well be wrong and they have identified him but I'd like to think given Makaays track record in that field he would be allowed to chose or pick their own striker,? I do understand at clubs now players are put to them an then pick out of a list but surely not when your only looking to add one possibly 2 players, I really hope Gio and Makaays are getting a say in the transfers.

Usually when people state that they are not a doom monger then proceed by mongering some doom means that they are in fact a doom monger.
