Guys I want your thoughts on Katie, is it a case of damaged goods now? I see his team finished 2nd in Croatian league, and they won a domestic cup. how did he go from one of the favourites to this guys, for me his best attribute is his monstrous heading ability which in my opinion is perfect in Scotland. thoughts on him guys?

I liked that he was combative and a force in the air which is something we may lack, he was young and in a different country and I did hear SG and him didn't see eye to eye but unsure how true or relevant that is. I think Soutar is a decent upgrade on what he offers but I'm prepared to give him a chance as a backup rather than other options.

I personally feel he is not good enough now for Rangers, i think we will still sign another cb, Soutter Goldson and King and another cb and also Sands can play there and Bassey aswell but think he will play lwb this season.

I think he’s a good player and I’d like to see him as bacn up to a 1st choice left centre back partnering goldson. Hellander should be moved on if we can get £2n for him I’d take it. If katic doesn’t improve he can go next summer.
He’s not a bad player guys solid no nonsense defender I like him.

Helander is 100% a better player unfortunately for him he's always injured. I'd say a fit Helander is the best defender in the league by miles.

I also like Katic. Glad he's back, a good pre. season keep fit, always thought he had great spirit and even if he isn't a sure starter every game I'm confident he will do a good job any time he's called on .

He is perfect for us - total opposite of Goldson. Big, powerful and aggressive in the air. Like it or not, we need a target for corners (in our box and the oppositions) and with Balogun away, we don’t have one. Hopefully Katic can fill that void.

I'd bring Katic back in a second and play him along with Goldson and Souttar in a back 3. Katic is a far better prospect that Helander.

Unfortunately he isn’t good enough anymore.
And it’s a myth he’s brilliant in the air compared to others:-

But he’s built like a brick rubbishhouse and if Gio etc can improve him, then you just never know.

Dothebouncy not nearly in my eye's i think helader is Rangers best cb, but not nearly fit enough now, and he is 29yrd and a full international with Sweden, he days are gone now in my eye's.
