It's excellent to read the club signing lots of very good youth players, question is how many will make it to the first team?, I hope them all . Derek Johnstone was scoring goals at age 16 in cup finals so is the Scottish League tougher then before? I'd say not, that's why Lowry king etc should get more game time this season if not why not? If we don't give them the chance how will we know.

King played a few very good games at the end of the season, and if Rangers need him through injures he won't let us down, and everytime i have seen Lowry he is a player, i think he will get a good few games in the spl and i think he will do very well, and more opportunities is Airbo goes.

Love when folk use the reference of one 16 year old 40/ 50 years ago making it as the standard that why doesn't everyone. Like the Vardy argument. One non league player makes it to the EPL so now hundreds should be able too.

it might not have been “ tougher “ mate, but it was a hundred times more technical and demanding, today is a different game altogether in many ways,
i would love to see lowry and kelly in same rangers squad next year myself.

At the end of the day Ted if they are good enough then they will get their chance regardless of age. We need to remember that the managers job is to win games first and foremost as its his job that's on the line. It would be magic if both Lowrie and King have a strong preseason and impress the manager and they get their chance. I'm sure everyone would love to see both fighting to be in the first 11 and nail down their place. Fingers crossed for both. ?.

Lowry and McCann are the two for me that can go on to be top players for us. Both appear to have the quality and the skill to be successful.

Kelly will have a decent career but I can’t see it being at rangers. Better players in his position and best best the lad moves on to progress his career.
