I hear warbs going on about the hampden pitch today aswell as Scott brown the other day, I have to agree with them, the pitch looked in a sorry state the other night. hampden say they spent 150k on the pitch from same company that did nou camp and bernabeu, must be diddy grounds men at hampden then!

Sorry guys. Jt can come to ibrox all he wants Aslong as he is sitting in the stands with a pie and bovril watching a gers game. I appreciate he is a great leader and has countless winners medals but we r trying to build a team for the future. What would we get out of him? A year? And even at that it wouldn't be every game week in n week out. I'm still gutted we didn't go for souttar. Not that I'm comparing them in anyway shape or form but souttar fits the mould of what we are trying to build.

Clearly your club has a relationship with Southampton or are you really going to claim its a coincidence that every decent player you have ends up being sold to the same club. I think your club has done very well to get the money it has.

Tierney is a decent prospect but no more, any sizeable bid would be accepted. Personally I think it is paper talk as can't see why Southampton would offer much for a player who has done very little.

I understand your frustration, your club has missed as golden chance during our absence. Had your club ditched its biscuit tin mentality and invested over the past few seasons you could have been so far ahead of us we would never have been able to catch up. Instead your team has went backwards, failed repeatedly on European stage and play in a half empty stadium. It must be very frustrating, I know if situation was reversed I would be.

Your digs over our bids for o'halloran are wasted on me, In the end we got him for a reasonable fee. In terms of the defensive mid I think anyone who has seen the guy play can see we haven't missed out on much. He's as slow as a week in the jail (thought I'd use an analogy you could relate to) . We will end up with somebody better in the summer.

I've seen the big guy play a few times for Leeds and I reckon we've won a watch for missing out on him. Don't see anything about him at all that would make anybody take notice.
Re the O'Halloran transfer - I've heard on good authority that the process leading up to his signing was nothing like what was being reported (multiple low bids) and it was only really on deadline day that our club upped the ante. Michael himself had no idea that the transfer was going to go ahead until that morning.
And your post about Celtic missing the boat while we were in the lower divisions - I couldn't agree more. They have slipped up big time and have given their present manager far too long in the position. He should have been sacked last year. The signs were there and their European efforts (if you could call them that) were pathetic and toothless. It's now too late for them. They still have Ronny and with a few good signings in the summer I think we can turn them over next season.

DH88, you have no players at all with a good sell on fee. and what is with the dig regarding us getting players from Accrington? from what I remember over the last 5-7 years the better players your lot have had came from down south in the lower leagues, you've spent 5mil on a dud of a defender. Zagreb couldn't grab the 5mil quick enough! they must have thought you were on the wind up when that offer came in for an injury prone very average defender. get anyone with a small amount of pace to run at him and he doesn't have a clue what to do. your 5 in a row comment, who has been there to challenge you? it's that simple. regarding scott allan, it appears you bought Allan purely due to the fact you know he'd have made our side better going forward, that's a little bit sad is it not? having 15+ midfielders and still feeling threatened by us?

Was also hearing on good authority that Allan is regretting big time being railroaded into a move to Celtic when he could have stayed with Hibs and signed for us in the summer ready for a tilt at the title. Silly boy. He's done it now and there's no way back for him. Also hear he will be sent down to the English lower leagues on loan next season. Hard to imagine the size of the wage bill over there. If you listen hard enough you'll hear a blood curdling scream coming from Mr Liewell ' s office everytime he checks the wages. Tick tick tick tick. The Rangers are coming back to haunt you all. Mr Thompson - might not see you right enough. But you never know we might draw you in one of the cups. It would be one of the few times you would be able to count the Gers supporters. I think you should read your own posts back pal! your the one that started with your titles! I never once mentioned your titles! I mentioned your failure in the lower leagues! Unless your classing them as titles to now! Haha! There was no mention of your titles until u brought it up! And doesn't 90% of posters on here make predictions? But the prediction i am confident about is showing on the 17th that we are quite literally in a different league from you! Interesting one as although I would expect the Villa support to want a more experienced manager Warburton could fit the bill for the owner. Relatively cheap and knows that league. Hard job for anyone though as the owner is desperate to sell and not willing to put anymore money into the club. Worry for them is that they could become marooned in the championship just like Leeds.
