I wonder how many Rangers fans follow Scotland without a player from our club. It's tricky. I hear we're 1-0 down and I'd have played our McLeod, Gauld and Robertson.

Not easy being a fan midweek and weekend, club and country.

Good point kfraser. I personally have only been to a handful of Scotland games in my life regardless of how many Gers players have been in the side.Historically most Scotland fans tend to come from the north, your sheep and the like,r.e Macleod ,he won't get a game until we're back where we belong.

McLeod isn't ready to make the step
Up to that level

After what every other club the SPL the SFA in Scotland tried to do to us the last couple of years, they can all rot in Hell I'll never forget and I don't buy news papers anymore or been to another ground following Rangers since we were relegated to the bottom tier. But everyone to their own I respect that, this is just what I decided

Wow Bongo, calm yourself. Its not the medias fault certain people killed our club, they're just after a story at the end of the day.As for the rest of the teams in Scotland, did you really expect different from them? No one likes us,we don't care. Well I don't anyway.

0 0

Bongo, you're the type of fan the club loves. You have the same boycott mentality as those running the club. Seems they are boycotting the BBC as they are the only ones in Scotland and England who did not provide the BBC with data for their annual price of football survey, but you wouldn't know that as you are probably boycotting the BBC as well.
Or maybe there is another reason why they did not give the information. Maybe they have something to hide.
Get out of the dark, look at the facts and stop blaming everyone else. Not everything in the media you don't like is made up just to annoy you.

OP. I've supported Scotland since I was a boy back in days of Tam Forsyth and Sandy Jardine in the side and that's a pair we could do with just now by the way. Happy to support them even under Levein but I don't go to many games now, was intending to go see the Georgia game on Saturday but was late getting a ticket and due to SFA incompetence those left were all very much overpriced.

Think in a crucial game like last night the time was not right fot MacLeod and Gauld but against Gibraltar I would like to see that happen.

The joker!!call it what u like we where relegated to division 3 u say we started a fresh then that makes it sound like we r a new club which am sure u will disagree that we r!!the other clubs voted against us but I believe its time to move on after all if our dodgy owners of the past hadn't been up to no good financially we wouldn't have been liquidated and they wouldn't have needed to vote for or against us after all if it was celtic we would have voted them down time to take the chip off our shoulder relegated or started a fresh whatever way u look at it that's up to u!!

I'm perfectly calm never thought ide get this reaction as I stated everyone is entitled to theirs I'm certainly not ramming anything down your throats I'm not affiliated to any supporters club or organisation I do my own thing it's only an opinion you are entitled to do what you want gees oh!

I am Scottish and I wouldn't care if the scotland team was basically the celtic team playing. When they put on the scotland shirt then I will follow them, never understood this idea of not supporting your home nation.

@9

Sorry but I can't cheer on any team with Naismith and McGregor playing for them.

@10
Sorry but to me that's pathetic.

0 0

@12

That's up to you mate but these 2 players along with others treated the team and supporters with contempt and deserted us. For me that is unforgivable and I will never forgive and forget far less cheers them on

0 0

Stewie: Spot on, two of our best players who abandoned the club when we needed them most.

Do fans really have a problem with someone coming in and making a few bob out of the clubs name I personally don't IF who ever it may be has the club on a sound financial footing has a team on the park we are proud of and winning championships, cups and doing well in Europe that would do for me.
r. f

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aye pal that would do us all, unfortunately that's not anywhere near the current situation we find ourselves in, we find ourselves in a situation where we don't have a team to be proud of on the park and we are a million miles away from qualifying for a European competition so let's get real and accept that Ashley just wants our money and cares not about our team on the park.

14 Oct 2014 20:05:39
Doesnt need to be ashley mate we just need someone to get us on a sound financial footing and set us on our way and I'm sure the rest will fall into place .

You do love that saying "sound financial footing" don't you?Can you remember the last time we were on a "sound financial footing"?

14 Oct 2014 22:34:20
@2 "we just need someone to get us on a sound financial footing". Yep. That's all we need and we'll be sorted. Insight of the week there. For your next light bulb moment try realising there's simply no-one out there who's seriously willing and able to do that.

Pauline 72 what's your thoughts on stories coming from newspapers on king about to own 51 per cent shhh don't mention it to jg he tells us not to believe newspapers i know we have had a few let downs of late but i hope stories are true

0 0

Pauline why is your posts constantly attacking other peoples opinions, all you do is mumble and grumble if someone dares to even think positive

15 Oct 2014 08:59:54
To the people who tend to rebuke me on here what is wrong with wanting someone to come in and have us on a sound financial footing is that not what all true Rangers fans crave or are you all happy to struggle along every month waiting on the ghost of administration visiting us again .

I also want us on a "strong financial footing" r.f its just that phrase.Surely you've got another wee line floating about somewhere??

15 Oct 2014 09:44:14
@6 I don't mind people thinking positive, what i don't like to see is completely unrealistic delusion dressed up as positivity. I think it's more important to focus on the reality of the situation and sadly its a grim reality that can't be made any better by dreamy wishful thinking. Saying we "just need someone to come in and put us on a sound financial footing" is about the most naive comment anyone could make about the club, totally divorced from the reality of the kind of 'business men' who have us by the short & curlies. The fact that that's the grim reality isn't my fault, but yes i will remind people of it when they drift off into cosy dreamland and try to act like that's all it'll take to save us. Wake up.

@5 I think you're getting jg mixed up with someone else, i don't recall him telling us not to believe the newspapers, on the contrary he regularly copies and pastes the horsecr#p they publish and posts it up here as if its facts he's found out through diligent research. As for the latest King story, well pretty much everything else the papers have written about him has turned out to be cr#p so i'm not sure this time will be any different.

@ 9 again what's wrong with hoping, wishing, praying that someone can come in get us on the road to full recovery (changed phrase there) instead of just changing the bandage every month or so. What would your solution be ? Cause let's face it the way it is can't continue .for ever optimistic

@10 nothing wrong with hope, but it needs to be balanced with realism, otherwise its just being naive. It's so easy to say we "just need" a sugar daddy to come in and sort us out - you think that's being hopeful, but anyone who has paid attention to the real situation will see that it's just a naive dream. Call it optimism if you like, sticking your head in the sand is another way of putting it.

Ah well Paulineblue maybe one day when THE RANGERS are back on top I can buy you a drink and fill your half empty glass as we celebrate winning championships, cups and being back in europe.

15 Oct 2014 16:39:35
@12 r. f. one of the differences between you and me is that you apparently like being led along by empty promises, whereas i dont. But in the spirit of friendship between fans i'll accept your offer of a drink when we're back the top - provided we are also on a sound financial footing at the time and not just bought success at the expense of long term survival, in the sorry tradition of SDM. I will certainly drink to that.

Pauline jg has said [dont believe anything you read in newspapers ]on here and on the rumour site quite a few times in fact he got a bit of ribbing about it on rumour site in the last two weeks so i think its you yourself that's maybe muddling him up with another

15 Oct 2014 22:26:00
@15 tmwtn sorry i've not been around for a few weeks so hadnt seen him say that. Unbelievable hypocrisy on his part since, as i said above and others have noted before, his copy n paste jobs from the newspaper pages on the intranet are embarassing.

0 0

Pauline you were asked what your solution is? A see the head in the sand comment still going about, who exactly has there heads in the sand? The people who bought season tickets? The ones who didn't? The positive amongst us? The people who don't like anyone being positive about rangers? The UoF? Or any fan who disagrees/doesn't like the UoF?

0 0

Aye pauline he also got a ribbin about his paste jobs as well lol

0 0

Just to set the record (not daily) straight, I have never copied anything from a newspaper and pasted it on here and to my old sparring partner tmwtn, I did say don't believe everything you read in papers

what I have pasted is the regulatory announcements that the company makes

maybe some others should take the time to read the RNS announcements as well as their papers and then I would not have to paste them on here

I was just reading this story about sons of struth wanting to restore bill struths grave. now i have no problem with their kindness, my problem is with were this grave lays. a graveyard knowing for vandalism over the years and the the fact they are courting publicity over this is disrespectful they should leave bill struth to rest in peace. i fear that now his grave is in the public eye this will attract mindless vandals.

finally tipled on how to open a post yee ha i was reding comment section in glasgow paper and the guy made the comment that he thinks it a member of the sfa that is blocking dave king from investing in rangers i remember at the start of our troubles and still people thinking current crew running our club were put there by the east end mob thoughts please

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Oct 2014 08:15:16
Think that's got to be the biggest lot a sh**e I've read on here in a long time. So what you are saying is Celtic installed our current board? Its a pity you can't un - learn to open a post.

0 0

I do sometimes miss the good old days when nearly all the the paranoia in Scottish football came from deluded Celtic fans.

0 0

Gkk this was also a rumour on this site when our troubles started

15 Oct 2014 14:58:41
Paulineblue72: Surely the fact that something looks like happening with King can only be good news. We have issues still to sort with the board and we need to know what resolution if any King comes to regarding some kind of ownership which we hope it is, but there looks like a cash injection coming, hopefully with some kind of share in the club.

0 0

14 Oct 2014 15:13:34
tmwtn: Wouldn't be surprised if someone at SFA is blocking King, let's face it they've always made things as difficult for us as they possibly could.

0 0

Gkk in respond to your post opinions are like persons mate every body has one i don't know how long youve been posting on here but when charlieboy got involved there were lots of people on here saying he was from the dark side as for them easdales [greenock morten supporters ]yet claim to be rangers men ;i know loads and loads of people from greenock and I've yet to meet a rangers supporter from greenock ime not saying celtic are stopping us from moving forward but ime asking peoples oppinion on the sfa and mr lawell being involved in our progress ;ime looking for opinions not abuse

0 0

15 Oct 2014 19:43:27
Tmwtn The eds don't allow abuse on this site believe me,you say you are looking for opinions and in my opinion, these conspiracy theories about Lawell slowing our progress are absolute nonsense but, that is just my opinion. One thing that is guaranteed due to your volume of posts on here is opinions. Fact.

0 0

I would argue that Lawell is slowing celtics progress, and taking them back the way.

0 0

Gkk i don't mind responding or others responding to my posts it is a banter site
