11M bid expected for Morelos and it's 50/50 in terms of being accepted, it's a full up front payment and Morelos is keen on the move. I hope we accept it, we have options in final third that can still secure 2nd spot.

I totally agree, 11m paid upfront with a sell on clause. We have to realise we will always be a selling club moving forwards. He’s a class wee player and we got him for 1m plus 10% sell on, so that’s a tidy profit. Cummings can fill the void no problem

IF it really is £11m, got to sell Morales, I really like him but that's to good a deal. Still have nagging doubts someone really has bid that for him though

We can't surely say no to 11mill. Don't get me wrong AM is a great wee player with loads more development in him. However to make a 10 mill profit in only 7 months would be tremendous business!
Yes he could stay. go on to world cup and score a few and we could name our price or he could get injured suffer poor form and his value fades.
We r a business guys and the board have a duty to do the best value they can for all shareholders etc. They have done great so far koing 6 7 8 mill bids etc. Time to sell and wish him well. With a 10-15% sell on fee in the deal we can make more. Time to take the gift horses money. Thoughts? 💙✋🗡🛡

@scotty123 - we should bite their hand off for £11 million! It would allow us to recruit well this summer and I'd use some of it trying too secure Goss for the midfield.

The Chinese team involved (loosely) already have their full quota of foreign players, also any transfer above 7m is subsequently got 100% tax so if this true they can't play him and and would cost 22m.
So guys I ask u do ANY of u really believe this.

if the offer is 11m he simply has to go as we are a business (who are still a bit skint) and every player has his price. let’s not forget
he cost us 1m
he’s been here just over 6months
he’s scored 15 goals in league and cup
i remember negri and mccoist both scoring over 30 by christmas - this lad is good but he’s not that good and certainly not irreplaceable. he’s young and will improve but but we may never get an offer like this again. sometimes you just have to make a call for the good of the whole club
if that offer is genuine i’d snap their hand off. cummings josh murphy miller etc will still get us the goals to get 2nd

He's young and he's like a magnet for the ball in the box, yes he does miss loads of good chances but he still scoring loads of goals, it's a matter of time before he clicks and he'll be worth so much more, be mad to sell him now and jeopardise 2nd place!

£11m is too much to turn down. We need to win the Title as a matter of urgency and we have steadily closed the gap with our squad adding a few good players in each of the past couple of transfer windows.
If we were in Ceptics financial position I would tend to agree that potentially he could be worth more and would keep him and benefit with his goals until a point where a mammoth bid came in.
£11m would pay for Murphy, Cummings, Goss (if available) and Russel Martin and another striker.
Personally £6m would have been good but £11m we need to sell

Rainman. Chinese clubs are allowed 4 on the pitch and a further one on the pitch. And the 11 million over and above the actual fee is returned to them not that far down the line. Thanks for caring though

We need to keep him as Cummings has hardly set world on fire since he arrived. Morales is twice the player Cummings is and works twice as hard too. I know he isn’t match fit but I just think all the bravado is not enough to wear the famous blue shirt
