Rossiter back playing 45 mins today. Fingers crossed this is it with injuries for him. I think he will be a great asset to our midfield. And Grezda scored today.

Blue nose

1.) 24 Sep 2018 17:18:02
Stubbed his toe on the way back to the dressing room and now out for the season. I wouldn't count on him playing an important part for us this season, but I hope I'm wrong.

2.) 24 Sep 2018 18:50:02
Struth that's not what the lad needs, he is one of our support him.

3.) 24 Sep 2018 19:54:55
If we can get rossiter fit it is a real boost to our midfield. I know it’s big if but there won’t be any pressure to play every game and he could be as good as anything in the league potentially.

4.) 24 Sep 2018 21:04:00
Rossiter looked rusty maybe a tad down in the mouth too. Grezda was different class than the other reserves. Mebude looks a real talent, got a hat-trick, but he is tiny think my boxers weigh more than him.

5.) 24 Sep 2018 21:19:29
Hope rossiter stays fit this time, he's a cracking player and gives us another defensive midfield option, he deserves a bit of good luck.

6.) 24 Sep 2018 21:31:19
Always remember Rossiter was not called the next Stevie G by Robbie Fowler and others for nothing, when fully fit he will be a gers great, hopefully.

7.) 27 Sep 2018 21:17:23
If he does manage to stay fit and get some game time Jordan Rossiter could be a huge player for us . Trust me there's a very very good player in there just waiting to get unleashed.

8.) 28 Sep 2018 16:37:49
Sadly, i feel he's missed too much time and will never get back in the first team now, he's clearly had bad injury issues and may have to move else where to discover (if he still can have) match sharpness at all.

Anyone any knowledge on this fighting fund of a significant pot of cash provided by mystery benefactors that is being used. Simon Jordon is shooting his trap off about.?

Blue nose

1.) 07 Aug 2018 12:25:23
Ye simon Jordan saying we have mystery benefactor but also saying we won’t get near celtic next 2 to 3 years I’m quite optimistic made good signings let’s go .

2.) 07 Aug 2018 12:31:12
There was a story three weeks ago that we were being funded re SG wages and transfers. Could not find out anything about it.
Suspect soft loans from usual suspects.

3.) 07 Aug 2018 12:35:13
It’s John Henry through his son.

4.) 07 Aug 2018 13:02:13
Who is John henry.

5.) 07 Aug 2018 13:21:16
he owns fenway sports who bought liverpool

have heard these rumours before that they are backing gerrard - no idea if true but we do seem to be spending quite a bit of dough .

6.) 07 Aug 2018 13:32:45
I’m not convinced this is true if it is why the secret.

7.) 07 Aug 2018 13:33:17
Right trev, thought u could not have two owners funding clubs.

8.) 07 Aug 2018 14:04:44
If true why doesn't he get us a striker.

9.) 07 Aug 2018 14:43:37
BARISIC CROSSING LOOKS BRILLIANT. NEED POWERFULL FORWARD.

10.) 07 Aug 2018 14:44:00
It’s an investment if it is him he’s not buying a stake in rangers is he.

11.) 07 Aug 2018 14:58:48
The mystery benefactor is Simon Jordan. Lol. How would this guy who has no links whatsoever to our club no information like this.

12.) 07 Aug 2018 15:23:12
If he has all this cash then why are we just signing loan deals and failing to bring in CB's?

13.) 07 Aug 2018 15:30:06
I am not going to go down the usual route of such and such told me this as I will be shot down in flames.

What I heard is, the day King announced share issue that could raise £6m (7th May. few days after Gerrard was announced) he was actually supposed to announce £30m+ of investment (to support Gerrard rebuilding the squad) .
On the morning of the press conference, King received a call from the person organising the investors telling him that he could make no announcement as the money and the investors had to remain hush hush or the tax man would be sniffing about them. King had to say something at press conference so came out with the share issues, which he got slated for as it was minor news.

I took it with a pinch of salt but just passing on what I heard a couple of days after the press conference.

It would not surprise me if Gerrard deal is backed with Fenway though as he is next in line for Liverpool job (Klopp will be in charge for at least another 2-3years going by current plans I would think), Fenway will want Gerrard to have experience managing a big successful club with big expectations.

14.) 07 Aug 2018 15:33:40
Murray’s mint we’ve signed 4 defenders and two cbs this summer.

15.) 07 Aug 2018 21:14:52
Guys posted a new post a minute go - but I heard tonight Murray is funding us behind the scenes not sure what truth there is to it - but it’s what I heard can’t say either way if true or not - anyone else heard this?

16.) 07 Aug 2018 21:20:18
It’s not just Simon Jordan knows about investment it’s splashed all over.

31 May 2018 15:22:25
Leaked image of white away strip on DR on line site. Not sure if this is a spoof top. hope not as it’s cracking and can’t wait to buy it for holiday

Blue nose

1.) 31 May 2018 16:11:10
Spoof top. someone made them on computer. Then they got made in Turkey. Nothing lìke walkin about proudly sporting a 100% rip off top

2.) 31 May 2018 16:15:35
Its a cheap Turkish rip off, just like the Orange one last week.

3.) 31 May 2018 17:47:21
It looks more like a Great British Olympic teams away top

4.) 31 May 2018 18:11:50
Is it just me or are the fake rumoured ones always nicer than the actual ones we get? 🤣🤣

5.) 31 May 2018 18:46:57
Hope its not. Horrendous. Bloody union jack. Why not a saltire? Are ramgers not scottish. Rise above that bile. Its the same old crap whereby tic tops have the tricolour on. Irish my arse. If it is the union jack top i wouldn't be very surprised. IMO Its a stupid move. let's face it though, there have been plenty stupid moves from the people who run rangers.

6.) 31 May 2018 19:25:04
We are British as well as Scottish, can you say the same for Celtic and the Irish flag? Grow up.

7.) 31 May 2018 20:36:01
The Saltire is incorporated within the Union Flag, confirming we are both Scottish and British. It's not difficult.

8.) 31 May 2018 20:47:56
No doubt martyb125 is one of wee Jimmy Krankies gang 😆😭🇬🇧

9.) 31 May 2018 21:03:34
I'm with wmw on that one.

British and Scottish.

10.) 31 May 2018 21:14:38
Martyb, does that mean that the Rangers fans need to stop displaying union jacks at Ibrox, and wave scottish flags instead?
It might be mistaken for an SNP rally,

11.) 31 May 2018 21:37:31
Martyb125, so now you want to bring politics into the mix. SCOTLAND don't have a flag now, the SNP nicked it lol

12.) 01 Jun 2018 07:30:19
Rangers are Scottish.
End of.

13.) 01 Jun 2018 07:34:59
Best get used to Rangers being Scottish.
The UK won't exist for much longer.

14.) 01 Jun 2018 09:55:46
Buddy666 unless I'm very much mistaken, our beautiful wee country had a big vote on that back in 2014, " once in a lifetime " we were told, so regardless of what wee jimmy says were british and will be so for many years to come.

15.) 01 Jun 2018 22:00:44
God save our queen

16.) 01 Jun 2018 22:29:11
I am Scottish through and through that top is a joke.

17.) 01 Jun 2018 23:09:10
In a recent poll it was revealed that almost 50% of our fanbase are supporters of an independent Scotland (I'm one of them) . Isn't it obvious to even the most fervent uk nationalist gers fan that having a union flag on our away strip would alienate the indy half of our support especially in this political climate? As for whether we're Scottish or British, we're both! In fact when we become independent, (fingers crossed) we'll still be british! I have no probs with being british, it's being in the uk I have an issue with. Now can we end all the political talk and get on with what we're here for which is football. We're all Rangers fans here after all.

14 May 2018 09:50:26
Press conference announced for midday. any ideas?

Blue nose

1.) 14 May 2018 10:10:02
Appatently it's to announce the arfield signing but who knows really? Could be some good news, fingers crossed

2.) 14 May 2018 10:10:56
Share issue maybe!

3.) 14 May 2018 10:19:11
I heard it was to announce gerrards backroom staff

4.) 14 May 2018 10:20:54
It’s to announce the back room team

5.) 14 May 2018 10:50:53
Its the big investment everyone was talking about, a local plumber is donating an industrial plunger to help us flush away the S%$£te that is our defence.
More seriously I've been reading eveyones opinion of the 10 or 12 players we need rid of. I agree with a lot on those lists but think it should be done slowly 3 or 4 top quality signings would make a huge difference to our team then add 1 or 2 in Jan and another 3 next year = title winners.

6.) 14 May 2018 10:56:43
It's to take the shine off of the title win, I reckon we will be coming out with information showing Celtic agreed to let Aberdeen win to screw Rangers resulting in massive points deductions and Rangers to be awarded title no 55.

7.) 14 May 2018 10:57:21
A press conference to announce a back room team? Never heard of it. A simple club statement would be enougj and has been in the past. Arfield would be unveiled at Auchenhowie? Who knows its Rangers it could be anything we are a soap opera at times!

8.) 14 May 2018 11:19:51
Birdswing, every gers supporter worldwide knows this to be a fact, but to try and prove it is impossible even without Lawell on the panel. Even more evident was the collusion between timco 1 and timco 2 recently.
The INVINCABLES got beat by a team that struggled with our under par squad, aye right.
Despite the media focus all on loony lenny's squad, our comeback from 3 - 0 down was incredible, pity we could not hold on for a win tho.

9.) 14 May 2018 12:05:31
Maybe to do with the sectarian singing that still goes on basically every game

10.) 14 May 2018 13:23:52
It was to introduce Arfield

13 May 2018 22:14:55
Just watched the rossiter interview post match and he really wants to play for that shirt. I believe he will be our main man next season.

Blue nose

1.) 13 May 2018 23:15:56
There's no doubting his quality but can he stay fit?

2.) 14 May 2018 06:48:07
Looks the part but can his body stay fit.

3.) 14 May 2018 07:20:21
With the way he qas tackled yesterday he hasn't a hope of staying uninjured! !

4.) 14 May 2018 09:10:57
to be fair it was his first start in a very very long time and while i think Chris Sutton is a proper b3ll3nd i can't help but feel his comment during the game may be correct. did he ask JN and JJ to play him to see how he was. after the formation change i really thought he was one of our better players him and holt were doing well in the midfield and that tackle from scott allan was horrendous how the ref thought that wasnt a red i'll never know. give him a good pre-season use him as a sub for a few games and then he will be fine. i thought it was more the tackle that caused him to go off not his previous injuries.

3 game ban for Fredo. That’s a joke. Says based on previous incidents. Think SFA are protecting themselves from being criticised.

Blue nose

1.) 08 Feb 2019 20:53:23
It's no joke IMO mate. Steven gerrard needs to have a serious word with alfredo about his discipline problems, without taking the edge out of his game! Morelos is a fabulous striker, but no use to us continually suspended and sitting in the stand, a good few times during the season! We all had a chuckle, when alfredo got off with the 3 incidents against celtic, which if we're being honest, was very lucky to get away with! Again i'll say it that i rate morelos as a superb striker, who has the world at his feet, if he can screw the nut! If he doesn't, he will become a liability, a luxury that we have gauge if its worth having him,
ie. the pros V the cons.

Not any individual is more important or bigger than glasgow rangers, no matter how good you are! I only hope stevie G can eventually get through to him! He's a big loss to us being continually suspended and costing us games and points, although i do take on board the games he's won us, thus why i stated pros V cons! If he hadn't been suspended for our betfred league cup semi final against the sheep, i truly believe we would have beaten them, that's a big example of what i'm talking about here! He's by far the best striker in scotland, like i've stated on here, many times! Really hope stevie G can get through to him.

2.) 08 Feb 2019 21:00:01
Blue nose, you are missing the point, the third game is points level exceeded because of previous bookings, sending offs.

3.) 08 Feb 2019 21:12:18
how can they base this on previous incidents shouldn't that get dealt with at the time they make the rules up as the go along that lot caving in under media scrutiny and pressure from other mangers talking about our players that's all they have done.

4.) 08 Feb 2019 21:27:12
Complete and utter joke Moreols should not have been sent off in the first place, cause it was only to even up the numbers. These cronies at the SFA have got an agenda against Rangers FC and it, s time we fought back and get rid of the these rubbishBAGS!

5.) 08 Feb 2019 21:45:58
Donkey McKenna banned for 3 games too.

6.) 08 Feb 2019 22:22:16
SFA are protecting themselves from another letter from the manky mob by the look of it.

7.) 08 Feb 2019 23:07:16
McKenna got the same due to a previous ban. I don’t think Morelos can complain he needs to calm down and not get involved.

8.) 08 Feb 2019 23:34:27
Shocking they have a vendetta against him #operation stop 55 lol.

9.) 09 Feb 2019 10:24:33
Was silly to get involved, was a sending off.

06 Feb 2019 21:45:59
Shinnie was all over the place tonight. Had a great game. Do you think he was trying to impress SG and get a pre contract?

Blue nose

1.) 06 Feb 2019 22:40:14
Reckon he was just giving his all for his team. Decent player though wouldn't mind him on a free.

2.) 06 Feb 2019 22:41:33
I agree with you Blue nose. Although i hate the sheep and anyone who wears their red rag on their backs, i also thought that graeme shinnie was superb for them and dominated the midfield for them, especially when morelos got sent off! I didn't think mccrorie and arfield were particularly good for us tonight! Ryan jack was the pick of those 3,but shinnie for me was the dominant midfielder, on tonights showing!

3.) 06 Feb 2019 22:42:02
I would sign him he is hard as nails
He was great this evening.

4.) 06 Feb 2019 22:57:21
Did you note the interaction between SG and shinnie at end of game. Very friendly.

5.) 06 Feb 2019 22:59:48
I hear he is signing but keeping quiet until later in season to ensure fans don’t turn on him.

6.) 07 Feb 2019 00:07:09
I heard the same gers09. Stranger things have happened.

7.) 07 Feb 2019 06:24:51
I've always said on here, that ryan jack is our unsung hero at times and would always have a starting berth,
in our midfield! He's came on leaps and bounds under stevie G. He does all the hard, physical, dirty work well, in midfield! On the way home from the sheepdome last night, we were talking about the game obviously and we all were in agreement, that graeme shinnie was superb for them! He dominated in there, especially when morelos was sent off. We then were debating that ryan jack and graeme shinnie are very similar midfielders and who we thought was the better. Have to say lads out of our 14 seater mini bus, it was about half in half, to who we thought was the better midfielder, of the two. For me personally, i think ryan jack shades it, over shinnie! what's other bears views on this?

8.) 07 Feb 2019 07:38:29
Jack played very well and kept a cool head to link up for the 4th goal. Very good player.

9.) 07 Feb 2019 11:12:55
Shinnie is not a Rangers target and one or two games where he puts it about against us doesn't make him either an exciting or necessary player for us. He's average, guys, surely you can see that.

10.) 07 Feb 2019 11:15:03
Jboy21, our manager, as he has done in the past, shook hands with every oppositiion player, not just Shinnie. It's on of the things that sets Gerrard apart from the herd - he has class. McInnes and his ilk wouldn't do that, they're plebs.

25 Jan 2019 13:30:14
I don’t get why we loan at McCrorie then buy a keeper from the English non leagues.

Blue nose

1.) 25 Jan 2019 13:57:00
When I saw the English keepers face I thought he was signing for the under 12s. Did we not have a keeper on trial from an American team?

2.) 25 Jan 2019 14:06:19
It actually all makes sense. We want McCrorie playing games to help him improve and we need a 3rd keeper. Marinovic might not have been happy to be 3rd choice and neither would Wes.

3.) 25 Jan 2019 15:45:18
Seems strange however I’d not be surprised if Fods leaves next week. McCrorie needs first team experience and will be one for the future here.

4.) 26 Jan 2019 10:14:33
Jmaster correct re mccrorie needs experience also manager saying we are still interested in signing NZ goalkeeper.
End of road for Alnwick and fod.

03 Nov 2018 19:39:54
It was obvious today against a compact st mirren side who try and sit back against us that two wingers who re playing on there weak side are cutting in all the time to a wall of players. The formation cry’s out for them to take the ball to the by line and drag the opposition with them leaving space for our midfield to attack crosses. Ejaria try’s too much fancy stuff, slips over and goes side ways when playing against compact teams. These matches need a player with vision.
Is Davis the answer?

Blue nose

1.) 03 Nov 2018 20:34:31
in a word,

yes.

2.) 06 Nov 2018 18:09:00
We're not getting anywhere with constant crosses. there's no one in the box. Need more pass and go at the edge of the area through the middle then go out wide to create space.

3.) 06 Nov 2018 18:10:58
Haha, ejaria does fall down a lot. I thought he must be wearing his trainers out there today.

29 Oct 2018 19:06:23
I can’t believe the people on chat rooms and on line sites slating SG and also blaming Alfredo for Sunday’s defeat. In my opinion we had a far supierior team on the park to beat a poor Aberdeen side, however they just didn’t perform. SG has shouldered the blame and been blunt in his comments directed at the players and I think he will stick to his word. Pull your weight or your out . Alfredo got a silly booking yes but can’t be blamed for having passion that just needs controlled. all these negative fans spouting nonsense should look where we have been and where we are now.

Blue nose

1.) 29 Oct 2018 19:50:17
Finally a wee bit of sanity. We have no right to just take to the field and turn teams over. Better Rangers teams have been beaten than the current side. We are definitely on the way up. Players have to learn what it's like to play for us. That badge on their chest, the responsibility is massive. Some of those that got beat on Saturday will be there for the long haul, others moved on. We are in good hands, progress is being made. Remember the starting point and how bad we were until very recently. On ward and upwards bears. We will follow on.

2.) 29 Oct 2018 22:54:30
I can't believe the negativity directed towards our manager and our captain.

I must have been watching a different game, as I thought we played well, decent tempo and for me the obvious problem was the final ball. It was frustrating as mainly candieas and Tav were the culprits.

For me tho, the more a player tries, doesn't hide, gets on the ball, then tries again, they are pilloried if they have a bad game.

Tav and candieas, along with morelos, probably created the most chances for our team last year, and again this season most likely, yet they get hammered by the fans.

Flanagan never gets past the halfway line, and Kent, while tricky, what does he create?

The midfield have their strengths, but hardly create anything also.

I'd hate to think how little we'd create taking out these players when it is so obvious to me that central midfield is sadly lacking the creative spark.

3.) 30 Oct 2018 06:03:06
Very good post blue nose! Spot on in everything that you said pal! Totally with you on your post!

4.) 30 Oct 2018 08:02:45
Mols, I agree totally. I've already posted on here that I thought the football was really good at times and it was the final pass that was missing. Jack was immense and I thought the defence was never troubled until that set piece. There was too much tip-tapping around the box when a shot on goal was required. let's get six points from our next two league games and the world will seem a better place again.

5.) 30 Oct 2018 08:10:03
Supercooper

Even you must admit that we lost to a truly shocking Aberdeen side and not to force their keeper to make a save is worrying? I don’t for 1 minute want rid of Gerard however I feel a lot of the criticism aimed at certain players is justified. The manager himself has had a go at the players in public so what’s wrong with fans doing the same?

6.) 30 Oct 2018 10:02:07
Bluenose, where are we now?

The whole team were unsure about tackles, passes and the bounce off the surface. You could see the rubber crumb flying up on everymovement the players made. Shouldn’t be allowed in the top leagues and the SFA should demand there replaced with grass.

I am afraid to say Steven Davis is passedhis best and I’m glad it’s a 6 month loan however bringing him and Defoe in on loans was a gamble and has not paid off. Lafferty is another waste of a shirt. We would be better playing the kids up top than them. Without morales we are mediocre.

If we play like we did today we may be in top 4. Very indecisive and no real cutting edge until we pressed a little and forded mistakes. Fortunately we defended well against the little treat offered against us. As I said in chat room. A win is a win and we must take it but it won’t cut against other teams.
