Waggy on way out to Bristol City.? Surely not, definitely a backwards step in his career imo.
1.) 30 Aug 2016 09:42:25
King balancing the books!
2.) 30 Aug 2016 09:47:11
Is a non story, some speculative crap that they could bid if they lose a player! 0% chance he'd go for this either! End of!
3.) 30 Aug 2016 09:56:33
Anything we get for him is a bonus if the bids good enough I'd take it he hasn't shown he can go longer than a season without injury.
4.) 30 Aug 2016 10:17:48
In all likelihood it's a non story but I for one are not convinced by waghorn, he is bang average at best!
5.) 30 Aug 2016 10:17:54
Ross, that's a bit unfair, his knee injury was unfortunate, Smith really shouldn't have taken him down when he did. His hamstring injury, well that's just one of those ones, you can't help it when that happens.
6.) 30 Aug 2016 10:37:50
This happens in every transfer window.
Last minute nonsense. No one coming into Rangers apart from Senderos, who can sign after the close, and the media as always getting diddly squat from MW.
So start a rumour about someone leaving to produce a little transfer excitement.
Haven't the fans caught onto this yet?
Doubt even Bristol City with a decent amount of money coming in would stump up the cash we want. He's a great player for us, but honestly, he had a decent 2/ 3 of a season in Scotland's second division.
They are not paying anywhere near the amount the board would accept.
7.) 30 Aug 2016 10:38:50
Any bid of £4m+ . take it. He's good . but not irreplaceable!
8.) 30 Aug 2016 10:46:16
It was Waghorns goals that got us into The Premiership.
But every player has his price but this must be total speculation by the media.
9.) 30 Aug 2016 10:47:11
Hull after kodija from Bristol and they are considering waghorn as a replacement.
10.) 30 Aug 2016 11:18:17
onlyshowaround I'm not saying he is a bad player or anything but the reason we got him for so cheap was his liability for injuries. He missed half last season and has already been injured this. If the right bid came in I would accept it not because I think Waghorns a bad player more what we could do with the money.
11.) 30 Aug 2016 11:48:38
Adrian Mariappa still without club, weird one if you ask me, Mw should get this guy signed before transfer window closes tmoz.
12.) 30 Aug 2016 11:57:47
It's a non story. end of!
13.) 30 Aug 2016 13:35:02
Actually can't believe what I see on here most of the time, rangers fans slagging the players get your head out your @ss boys we're not the rangers we were. We can't sign world class players anymore, take what we're giving. Personally I think waggy is a fantastic player he scores goals is that not what you want in a striker? Some idiots on here talking about his tackling ect WHY he's a goal scorer, goals win games end off.
14.) 30 Aug 2016 14:24:20
You're right Mario. can't believe what i read on here at times. Same when reports of a bid for Tav from Turkey came out, the amount of people on here saying we should take the money for him as he wasnt that good. He's been our best player by a mile so far. And where are we going to get a replacement who will score a dozen goals a season. we've little enough firepower as it is without letting waggy go.
15.) 30 Aug 2016 16:37:13
I know it's all about opinions on hear but some bears on hear want to wake up. Wanting tav and waggy to go surely we should be keeping our best players to challange that other mob. Might not be this season but next season we won't be far away. But if you sell tav and waggy nochance.
16.) 30 Aug 2016 16:38:33
Mariappa back to Watford.
17.) 30 Aug 2016 19:18:55
A striker doesn't need to be a good player just needs to score goals. Which he can do very well any 1 happy to see him go aren't rangers fans sorry.
18.) 30 Aug 2016 19:51:33
There is no way that we should sell Waghorn or Tavernier but we should be bringing in at least one top quality centre back, two, if we sign Senderos.
Unfortunately it would not surprise me if we brought in nobody and Waghorn did go.
19.) 30 Aug 2016 11:48:11
If the price is right any and every player is up for sale.
If RFC get their price for him and the monies go to MW then why not.
20.) 30 Aug 2016 11:58:31
Hull are interested in kodija and have put a bid in of 14 million so Bristol city will have money to spend ten million for tav and wags reinvest the money back into the team.
21.) 30 Aug 2016 14:45:37
Waghorn and Tavs got the bulk of goals last season; big loss if Waggy was sold to balance any book and what about Tavs; so much for a big move to Turkey. If no Waggy who else could score double figures, Miller, Doodoo, Windass, Garner. don't think so! Why would DCK want to seel players when he has all those millions to win the League?
22.) 30 Aug 2016 15:12:09
Waghorn is a big player for us, there will be no one leaving this season never mind this window, we want to at least make a challenge.
23.) 30 Aug 2016 15:25:28
He has not agreed a new contract so the rumours are inevitable. He may well leave for double his wages.
19 Aug 2016 18:40:47
Thats Garner signed for Rangers on 3 year deal according to Sky sources.
1.) 19 Aug 2016 18:53:10
Wonder why it's taking the club so long to announce.
2.) 19 Aug 2016 20:21:59
Welcome to the club Mr Garner, your life is about to change 🔴⚪️🔵.
3.) 19 Aug 2016 21:04:55
Deal fell through Rangers saying failed a medical but fact was board retracted his fee for his contract.
4.) 19 Aug 2016 23:03:49
Glory hibs, we ain't talking about lescot, more to the point, away and worry about Falkirk, st mirren, Dundee Utd and your European opponents. oh.
5.) 19 Aug 2016 23:24:04
Think you mean lescott. Hows life in championship anyway?
6.) 20 Aug 2016 01:19:17
Just watched a few clips of Senderos, there's no messin about wae the big guy when it comes to tackles, headers and clearences, he gets right in amongst it btw, i'm sure he'l be a hit if we get him signed up soon as man.
7.) 20 Aug 2016 08:19:44
He's an absolute bombscare!
8.) 20 Aug 2016 09:36:06
I agree Rick big senderos has got a great cv but he hasn't fulfilled his early potential he showed at arsenal but I also understand where we are at the moment regarding signing players, so hopefully if we do sign him he can do us a turn.
9.) 20 Aug 2016 11:25:58
Giving senderos a 2 year deal is a bad joke.
10.) 20 Aug 2016 11:48:40
Ok senderos might not be the quickest but he seems to read the game very well, and solid in the air a bit like Davie weir. Also looks a threat from corners if decide to put one in the box. Let's face it warbs hasn't really gone wrong so far.
11.) 20 Aug 2016 13:49:27
By the way lescott failed the medical with a knee problem HITC.
12.) 21 Aug 2016 07:52:06
Jesus ain't seen glory hibs from the 6 2 pumping we gave them over a year ago.
13.) 20 Aug 2016 22:56:24
I can only assume they will announce it tomorrow and perhaps parade him at the game.
14.) 21 Aug 2016 13:36:11
Senders should be signed and should go straight into our team for Friday. He simply cannot be as bad as Kiernan and Wilson so for me it is a case of take your pick as to which one he replaces. Ideally we will sign a second centre back and relegate both our current centre backs to the bench.
15.) 20 Aug 2016 10:14:18
I rather have him in the squad than not while we look for younger players.
08 Jul 2016 17:48:36
Waggy and Tav rejected new deals. reports Daily Mail. I don't believe this. How would they kno.
1.) 08 Jul 2016 18:57:27
Genuinely don't believe if these fuys were offered fair deals they would reject them for a second.
They had good not exceptional seasons in the scottish championship they couldn't possibly be so daft as to think with the players coming into the club thay they have proven anything at all yet. They would have to be deluded to think they can do better. yet.
2.) 08 Jul 2016 19:02:12
it1s true both have rejected extensions, so much for stating they were happy at gers and wanted to get honours. If I was warbs I would chase them both, we, ve got higdon and mc crorie and striker . pending Bye Bye.
3.) 08 Jul 2016 19:10:01
How do you know its true?
4.) 08 Jul 2016 19:17:56
I heard its true that they have both rejected new deals as they are apparently unhappy at the money some incoming players are on ie Barton and Kranjcar
Surprised to hear this tbh as I would have thought Warbs would have managed this well amongst his squad but seemingly not.
5.) 08 Jul 2016 19:23:25
Paper talk and fans jumping on the players already get a grip.
6.) 08 Jul 2016 20:18:13
It's on stv news as well now guys. Hopefully just holding out for more money! Really like the pair but they aren't the b all and end all if they want to move on then we'll thank them for there service and move on. Really just think they want more money tho.
7.) 08 Jul 2016 20:43:37
If they have rejected new deals which I don't believe is the case. But if so I would tell them both bring home the title this season then you can get your reward.
8.) 08 Jul 2016 20:51:30
The club will offer them what they feel they are worth and no more. Hopefully will be resolved soon.
9.) 08 Jul 2016 21:28:22
not convinced it is true but TBH they've done nothing yet to have merited a new deal do the damage in the too league then let's consider a new deal.
10.) 08 Jul 2016 21:54:09
What do they expect the likes of barton and krankjcar will always be on better money than them what ever club they played for they are bigger names bigger players that's just how it is! Also they were good last season but they were only in the championship they have a lot more to do and prove before they can start thinking of big money there jobs not even half done yet.
11.) 08 Jul 2016 22:09:59
Let's face it Waghorn scored most of his goals via penalties, was injured for a long spell and Tav got found out big time defensively in the last 1/ 4 of the season. These guys have got a lot to prove next season and maybe then they will be in a stronger position to merit an extension at the might Gers.
12.) 08 Jul 2016 22:51:44
Waggy and tav don't seem the type that would take the hump just because another player is on more money. Let them play a season in the top flight first see if they're worth it.
13.) 08 Jul 2016 23:57:58
If the story is true tell their agents to find them another club.
Rangers took them when no one else would so they should be grateful to the club. Waghorn is not a prolific striker as the papers try to make out many of his goals were penalties. Tav is ok going forward but as a defender he's poor. IMO they had no competition last season, now that is changing, they are crapping themselves in case they will be on the bench for long spells.
14.) 09 Jul 2016 03:27:57
People going against them sickens me waghorn will be a massive player this season waghorny horny horny horny.
15.) 09 Jul 2016 03:34:48
Absolute nonsense from you if waghorn never got injured he would have been Scotland's top scorer.
16.) 09 Jul 2016 06:07:02
WullieEGrfc, scoring statistics of Waghorn.
Total goals scored 28.
Penalties taken 16, scored 13 missed 3.
Goals in play 12
Last season playing championship teams now we're stepping up a league. If they do well in premier league then the club can offer a good deal but until then all this should be forgotten.
Everything about this story is IF that's why I used the word in my post, but if it's true, no player is bigger than the club.
17.) 09 Jul 2016 07:24:08
Does seem strange that we would offer new contracts to players who have yet to prove themselves at a higher level, there's a possibility that Teams down south are thinkin about makin a bid! I mean does anyone else think that this sounds strange? We've got them tied down until 2018 so this seems really strange.
18.) 09 Jul 2016 10:57:02
Mind that time the papers said Mw had rejected a contract extension. how did that work out?
19.) 09 Jul 2016 12:14:23
Makes me laugh how the "so called" Rangers fans on here are so quick to condemn their own team, players and board.
Are we really such a negative lot that prefers to criticise than to praise and show faith and belief?
Let the past be the past - the future is blue. get behind the team and players no matter what.
20.) 09 Jul 2016 13:18:52
How do we know it was them who rejected the contracts could have been there agents.
Also with todays contacts there are many things they could want changed, length, scoring bonus, win bonus etc.
Also do we actually know this is true. Paper talk.
21.) 09 Jul 2016 14:12:30
So many people in Scotland that dislike us and just waiting on any excuse! Some maybe still at the Club in the shape of our PR people.
For me this is a non story.
22.) 09 Jul 2016 16:09:17
What a load of nonsense Tom! Nobody likes us. boo hoo! 2 of your players have not accepted contracts most likely due to you paying a lot more for new arrivals. Likelyhood is that they are wanting to earn more cash, but doubt very much they will be looking for as much as Kranjar and Barton but may be looking at others such as Rossiter, Crooks ect and think that in comparison thier deal is not good enough. There was and still is plenty of coverage on Rogic, Johanson and others not signing contracts so stop with this nonsense that you are being picked on! Likelyhood is they will both soon accept contracts and are simply looking for better deals (as most footballers do)
31 Dec 2015 15:15:29
Harry Forrester signs for Rangers on 6 month deal.
1.) 31 Dec 2015 15:28:49
If harry forrester has signed for rangers on a 6 month deal I'm wondering WHY only for 6 months? I trust warburton's judgement to the hilt and he seems to really rate and like forrester so this why I'm baffled to it only being a 6 month contract, can anyone else shed some light on this?
2.) 31 Dec 2015 16:08:41
I was led to believe that its a 6 month loan deal as his contract is up in the summer, if this is the case then it makes sense to me. Boy can prove his fitness and his ability and then we can sign him up in the summer.
3.) 31 Dec 2015 16:18:07
Why such a short deal?
If he does prove himself and get his career back on track, he'll be free to foxtrot oscar in the summer for nowt.
4.) 31 Dec 2015 16:22:19
Before I forget, a very happy new year to all you bears and yours. Same goes for any 'visitors' to our, It's All About The Rangers, related site!
5.) 31 Dec 2015 16:28:36
Does that mean he is free to talk to other clubs lol
Happy New Year fellow bears.
6.) 31 Dec 2015 17:41:12
I am sure that there is more to it than we are aware of and assuming that he shows his worth then there is already an agreement between him am Warburton that he will sign on for a longer term assuming of course that we are promoted to the Premier League.
I get a good feeling about this guy and hope he can regain the obvious talent that he has!
7.) 31 Dec 2015 17:50:07
Here we go, from the horses mouth,
24-year-old Forrester signed an initial six-month deal to team up with old boss Mark Warburton today but is already eager to do enough to extend his stay beyond that.
Talking to Rangers official website Forrester said: “This move huge for me. This is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I am privileged to be here and privileged to put on the shirt, and I want now to show people what I can do on the field.
“It’s only a six month deal as we speak, but hopefully I can get on the pitch and show everyone what I can do and we’ll talk from there.
So looks like he needs to prove himself before earning longer deal, which could be a double edged sword, prove yourself and someone else comes a knocking.
8.) 31 Dec 2015 19:24:44
It seems it was Rangers who made the deal 6 months and the boy is eager to show what he can do and it's a privelage to sign for such a huge huge club. Shrewd but if business and it seems the ball is firmly in our court. Give the boy a chance to prove himself then decide. More like it.
9.) 01 Jan 2016 08:28:50
There are obviously reasons he was not featuring for Doncaster and I don't think it was due to his obvious ability, might have been due to him lacking in the more defensive duties required at a club like Doncaster.
Warburton and Rangers are carrying out due diligence on this guy it is a good way to operate, if we had bagged him on a 3 year contract and he was a bad egg we re stuck paying him 5k per week for 3 years. I for one love the way we are doing our business at the moment, its a breath of fresh air and something I don't think I have ever seen us doing very well.
10.) 01 Jan 2016 11:03:00
It's def not a loan deal it's def a full transfer with an undisclosed fee. Smart but of business by us as the boy is desp to play for us and is willing to prove himself. Happy 2016 bears!
11.) 01 Jan 2016 12:22:58
was there a transfer fee for a 6 month contract?
12.) 01 Jan 2016 12:56:10
he negotiated his own release with doncaster.
13.) 02 Jan 2016 00:12:33
Spot on Coully very wise move and saves wasting money.
14.) 02 Jan 2016 00:12:33
Spot on Coully very wise move and saves wasting money.
15 Dec 2015 13:50:24
Scotsman claim that we are looking at another loan player Liverpool youth Harry Wilson this January. He is a winger who has just come back from a loan spell at Crewe. Not sure why we would want another loan player at this stage.
1.) 15 Dec 2015 14:48:41
Probably because we have not got the money to pay a transfer fee. Loans are a far cheaper option with less long term financial risk. We simply cannot afford to waste any money.
Without signings we are already needing 1-2million pumped into club just to make it through to end of season.
Questions need answered by DK such as has the 5m loan been replayed? If not why not? If it has why has MA claim in court not been responded too? And most importantly where is the investment promised? The stakes are becoming high, most sensible fans can see the impending car crash coming.
2.) 15 Dec 2015 17:07:39
We need as many new players we can get, loans or permanent, doesn't bother me, as long as we get promoted I don't care how we get there, we must get promoted this year, it's so critical, I think the fans won't accept another year in the championship.
3.) 20 Dec 2015 15:21:21
Luigi, have you spoke to Mr king? Probably not eh, so how do you know his plans, I know he said it would take about 30 million to get us back to where we need to be, I also believe Mr king has invested 8 million of his own wealth into our club, though I also believe he can't declare who he has waiting to invest.
he is keeping his cards close to his chest so as to prevent others from knowing his hand, a move that I agree with, IDE rather him and the current board as opposed to the last chucklers that have been chased out the door, would you rather we were run like Newcastle United, two shirts for the price of one roll up roll up, struggling to avoid relegation but it doesn't matter as long as we are selling replica kits.
22 Jan 2017 02:11:32
Looks like Stevie May is being shifted this window. Is he not worth a look in, Is he any good anymore lads?
1.) 22 Jan 2017 11:37:48
He's always getting injured. Just the mould of player Warbs is looking for.
20 Sep 2016 09:18:04
Barton under investigation for alleged breach of football betting rules!
30 Aug 2016 17:36:12
Mariappa is off to Watford 3 year deal! Puts an end to that one.
24 Aug 2016 00:08:59
Crooks played CB tonight for u20 team. He only got 62 minutes and picked up only yellow of the game. He is obviously weeks away fitness wise and beyond the ready for Celtic game. He played a long side Bates and they lost 1-0. Goal was a free kick tho.
1.) 24 Aug 2016 03:14:16
Goal was scorer when crooks was subbed.
20 Aug 2016 19:16:21
Fair play to Kenny today. Looking forward to seeing Garner this Friday. When Windass is back I think he will play behind Garner, then Senderos and wilson at the back. Will seem like a new team sounds good to me.
1.) 20 Aug 2016 19:41:59
Great finish and ran all day. However what is the point of MOH? He does nothing when he comes on? Woeful attempt at a shot that fortunately fell for Miller then an absolutely shocking miss. He has plenty of pace but no end product.
2.) 20 Aug 2016 20:44:00
Think MOH needs a run of games to get his confidence up, the 3 subs did change the game to be fair.
3.) 20 Aug 2016 22:00:29
Maybe however I felt the other 2 subs contributed much more than O'Halloran.
20 Jan 2017 09:47:26
Dont want to sound negative bluenose but i hate the thought of warbs potentially having 8 mil to spend on players if we sold mckay for that. wouldn't go on players anyway, it would be used to pay for running costs i expect. Bad times
16 Jan 2017 16:30:08
Course he's going to go for that money. Hopefully add a sell on fee. But how do you even find out this information? Nonsense
11 Jan 2017 13:03:59
Wow boys just a bit of banter
11 Jan 2017 10:56:15
Pretty sure he's the slowest player on fifa lol. Wages would be rediculous.
08 Jan 2017 23:37:12
Away ye go Amf stop spraffing rubbish. 20k a week wages would be definitely worth it for what we could sell him on for. Get back to his normal self and start atrracting some big teams. Did spurs not put a 25k bid in for him last year when he put his transfer request rejected? Be a good bit of business for us. can't see it happening but can only dream 😀
11 Feb 2017 12:16:40
Coldo u say keep up but your information is coming from the sun or dr, like lance said don't jump the gun.
11 Feb 2017 12:07:44
I heard he has a drink problem. I don't mean that in any offence to anyone but this may cause problems.
04 Feb 2017 20:47:19
Give bates a run!
02 Feb 2017 15:16:12
You can watch it live if you are outside of UK
01 Feb 2017 21:46:12
Totally agree Aussie i have been 100% behind warbs and had faith that he will turn things around but he is just keeping things the same which i think is unbelivable. I now feel like i am having the piss taken out of me.
