Not posted for a while now but had to post in defence of Coops11 in saying Cadden for Rangers. As I have been touting Cadden on here for over 2 years. Yes the now he is not Rangers first 11 class but neither Halliday. But Halliday offers us versatility and cover on the left which Cadden would do on the right. Free transfer in the summer so we should be able to get him for knock down fee in January.
Only young so also time for him to develop.

I actually think he's the type that would raise his game coming to us and claim his place he's got that determination about him anytime I've saw him.
Fact he's a diehard timmy maybe why he always raises it against us right enough.

Halliday is way short of the quality needed if we ever want to compete with Celtic. I doubt he would get a game with Hibs or Hearts yet some people seem to think he is good enough for us.

Still think to beef up the squad we should sign Cadden of Motherwell and Souter of Hearts. Both young and wouldn't cost the earth in transfer fees or wages.

We need a couple of strikers and quick who would you like to see brought in? And permanent or loan?
I would like (1) McBurnie or (2) Moult permanently.
Solanke and Sadiq on season loan.
Would get permanent striker and Sadiq in as soon as possible. And that way we can wait on Liverpool giving us a answer on Solanke.

Would also like to see us play a 352 formation.
But think we still need another Centre half as cover. A right-wingback for cover. A Defensive midfielder and two more strikers to play this formation.
Also would bring in at least 2 wingers so we could change formation if needed.
With the players we have now my team for this formation would be.
McGregor GK. Alves Goldson Katic CD. Tav RWB. John LWB. Rossiter Dorrans Arfield CM . Murphy Morelos C. F.

I really have to ask what the fixation is with Dorrans. He is absolute Dug sh*te! Also we don't need 2 Dmf's in a 3/ 5/ 2 formation. Rossiter or Mcrorie as Dmf. You then need a quality midfielder to play in front of Rossiter with hopefully Wilson right and Arfield left of him. Buffalo and Solanke or whoever up front. That for me would be a team to get the juices flowing.

Yately I know he's had a few injuries but I really don't know what he offers to the team. No guille no creativity no drive no heart. I suppose SG will decide but I can't see him being a starter. Squad player at best.

I still fly the flag for Windass- love him or hate him in my opinion he can provide a more positive role this season - I still feel we need a quality striker in our team- we appear to be forming a strong spine to the team and the right forwards can win trophy's for us this season.

Dorrans was our best player before his injury in Pedro’s last game in charge vs Killie. He had 4 goals and 5 assists early on in the season.
Injuries and instability in the team has ruined his season. Plus. He’s being played as a deep lying CM. Never a holding mid in his life. He’s an attacking midfielder, creates and scores goals.
Just hope these reoccurring injuries are not a sign he’s finished. Not good when players passed 30 continually pick up injuries. Look at Wallace, guys been out for over half a season after a hammy strain.

Mcgrorie to be fair before he got injured was outstanding but he was played just in front of the back 4, but when he came back was played c/ b partnering a dumpling like Martin which imo should never have been anywhere near the team, he just proved why Norwich didn't play him .

Goalie I hope Rangers keep Morelos and buy another Striker McBurnie or Moult. Then loan 2 strikers like Solanke and Sadiq or a player on loan with option that would improve your first team.
My first choice would be McBurnie permanently Solanke and Sadiq on loan giving us 5 strikers with Morelos and Hardie.

Wouldn't buy him outright. I would give him 6 months loan with option of another 6 months and a clause that we can buy for agreed set price. Much like Murphy and john

Queens played Beerman as a winger as Malta do but seen as left back with rangers. Last year to prove himself I think

Harry signed a new deal when Warburton was in charge that runs until end of next season. Think Rangers will try and get money for him but will terminate his contract if not sold in the summer. Same with Hodson Dodoo and MOH

For the wide and ACM positions I would promote Middleton sign Cadden Jones and bring in Kent Wilson from Liverpool.
