At least it looked like an old firm match as opposed to a one sided affair. Too many gers supporters. uj. talking it up beforehand but tgats fitba. its the first match I've watched for a long time were i would if been glad of the draw. I actually think murty sets his team up well but runs out of ideas when not going his way. Hopefully we pump you in the semis but i wint take it for granted after that match.

A bit of a compliment thrown in there. The person I feel sorry for is Murty. Losing Bates and having to bring on Cardoso who hasn't played in ages was a blow and your main striker missing a sitter of note didn't help the game plan. We blew it yesterday and the chance of winning the league being lost might well fall heavily on Murty.

Wes seems to be getting it thick after yesterday.
It was obvious yesterday that Goss got caught up in it yesterday and was largely ineffective. He was caught getting shrugged off for 1st goal. This left the space for a cracking strike into the corner.
Goss tracked eduward back for 3rd and showed him inside for another great strike into the corner.
2nd goal is a 50yrd pass. Cardoso is caught wrong side. Wes is left to stick or twist.
I was disappointed in 2nd half yesterday. We never stepped up. Our central midfield was shown up and never got to grips with the game. That left Brown ncham and rognic to look comfortable.
Docherty did Ok, but Goss and windass missing toe to toe.
Morelos did well enough holding ball up, but let down with finishing.
I think if you want Cummings to start, you need a dorrans able to create through the middle.
Unfortunately yesterday has shown our deficiencies, which is still through the middle, showing why we still need dorrans, Jack and a mcrorie.

Foderingham didn’t need to rush out like that at the 2nd goal in doing so he made up Dembeles mind to lob him. The defence has been poor all season and Murty hasn’t addressed it during the January transfer window. Cardoso has been as hapless as both Herrera and Pena and should be nowhere near the squad.

I agree with most of that assessment Mols, Goss is young and he is a good player, hopefully he will learn from this game and come back stronger, Dorrans is bonus to be coming back, while nowhere near as mobile as Windass he would have been far more involved 2nd half yesterday.
They’re defence yesterday was all over the gaff and while ours was worse that is the first time we’ve took the game to them since the 2016 semi and I was pleased with the first 43mins.
What is clear is that we have improved and if we continue to do that our day will come, I certainly wouldn’t write off our chances off against them in the two games to come.
What is important now is that we get back on track against a very useful Killie side on Saturday and Cummings needs a run in the team in the lead up to the Semi.

It will no doubt be another snap judgment by your board regarding murty at the end of the season. But look at the "experiments" they have tried before. I think he will go onto to be a great manager, only time will tell. And as much as a i would like as a celtic supporter to get 10iar i'd rather us being a force in europe. Crap gers will only mean a crap Celtic in europe. If we lost a section of our support would question rodgers. It indeed is a funny old game and without rivalry its nothing. People like uj spouting there mouth of about this and that although annoying adds spice to the mix. Looking forward to the butterflies before the semi, hopefully we win but if not then game on.
But its the first time in years these games have been what they are supposed to be roller coasters of emotion!

@bribhoy - I said beforehand this was the first time in 2 years I’ve felt confident about getting a result. And we missed a great opportunity. But fair play to Celtic, they are the benchmark. Roll on the semi final.
