All this talk about changing managers has got to stop. We must all rally around the team we were 10 times worse of 4 years ago when they all tryed to destroy us, there is no easy fix as Fat boy Ashley controls the income. What we have to remember as with every managent team we have a package David Weir and McParland, so I dare say if he did go so would they come on for feck sake back the team!

Surely if fans don't rate the manager they are entitled to say so. Doesn't mean they aren't proper Rangers fans or aren't behind the team.

Warburton has to get the full season at least to turn it round, I'm not to happy with the way things are going either but we have to support the team and management team as well, this is a complete overhaul of the whole club it doesn't happen after 16 months, I know everyone has a right to their own opinion but take a step back and think about exactly where we are at this moment in time, it is what it is so c'mon let's give warburton a chance I know I will.

I agree with Bongo. As much as we all want to challenge them a respectable league position has always surely been our goal for the season.

No one likes getting beat off them but we have to be realistic.

This team is far from being the finished article, we have brought in a load of free transfers again.

He took a gamble on Barton that didn't pay off, Niko was just coming on to a game before he was injured and Garner looks like he needs time to adjust.

As we are signing players that are lower league or developing we can't expect everyone to hit the ground running or to even be a success but I do think we have a good young team that will improve.

We need to build gradually within our means.

I totally agree with bongo. Yes Biffo316,people are very much entitled to have an opinion on our manager, of course they have, but what gets me is i'll bet most of the warbs out campaigners, were the same ones not so very long ago that thought he was amazing and the best thing since sliced bread (pardon the pun) . All the sensible supporters and realistic supporters are saying is be patient and give the manager a half decent bit of time! For god's sake look at the state our full club was in and needs total rebuilding all the way from top to bottom. Into the bargain there isn't much money available to warbs. See it for what it is and where we are just now. At least back the manager until the end of the season and then assess the season and where we are. I 100% don't believe in binning warbs the now, what would that achieve, i'll tell you, upheaval and wouldn't change anything as there's no big pot of gold there. I like and rate our manager anyway and i'm certainly prepared to give the man time and see where it takes us. The position we're in and will be in for the foreseeable future, regarding having to bring through and scout good young footballers and developing them, then i truly think, we have without doubt, the best manager in place at ibrox for our specific needs! We can't just bin a manager and full project when you hit some problems along the way, which i trust warbs to iron out!

I think it's ludicrous people waning rid of warbs.

Of course I totally understand where your coming from regarding backing the manager however I genuinely think he isn't the right man to take us forward. TBH at the moment I'm not really sure where we do go from here as there is very little money and it's a cert that Rodgers will get further backing. It is all about trying to finish 2nd and I'm not sure if we will even do that.

26 Oct 2016 10:18:00
Biffo, we will finish 2nd, if it wasn't for a horrid refereeing display we would have beaten Aberdeen and been 2nd currently. 3 points off 2nd right now isn't bad at all.

Tbh

I think it will be harder to finish above Hearts than Aberdeen.

Agree with the OP that it's far too early to be talking of sacking Warbs but also agree that fans should freely be allowed to call for his head.

Isn't that what forums like this are all about?

26 Oct 2016 11:34:42
Biffo316,if you don't mind me asking mate did you think warbs was the man to take us forward several months ago? Some signings just take time to settle and undoubtedly like every other manager out there, some signings just don't work out for numerous reasons. Every signing is a gamble!

Supercooper

I have maintained all along that I wasn't convinced with him and could only start to judge him once we reached the Premiership. So far it's been poor. I was surprised that he didn't try and sign players that had previously played in the Premiership and feel he has underestimated exactly what it is like to be a Rangers manager. I think his attitude towards the criticism he has received has only put more pressure on him and will only get worse the further Celtic get away from us. I agree all signings are a gamble however I feel he has not bought wisely in the summer and it's being shown now. Finally like you i'm astonished he hasn't given O Halloran a chance having paid nearly £500k for him.

I was astonished we bought a player like moh, on a free transfer he would have been an ok signing but for 500k, daylight robbery.
