IRVINE, Calif. (OCTOBER 7, 2020) – Orange County SC announced today that it has completed the transfer of U. S. Youth International Aaron Cervantes to European powerhouse Glasgow Rangers of the Scottish Premier League. Cervantes, a Southern California native who signed his first professional contract with OCSC in 2018 at the age of 15, becomes the first player to be permanently transferred between the two clubs.

Last season, iirc, one of the lads they signed from you set a new record, breaking the one Freddy Adu set, for the youngest professional footballer in the USA. I am not sure how it works as the player was 14, so would not have been eligible for a pro contract in Scotland. I had intended to look into it as I was interested, but haven't had a chance yet.}

Ed the lad. U refer to was American who played for Orange County at 14.
We took him to alksass tourney to play for gers.

Ed01, is Adu still playing? He was hailed as new Pele or Eusebio. Last time I saw him he was playing in Portugal, for Benfica I think.

Cannot believe some are getting so worked up about poss signing jack whiltshire. It makes no sense. Can only assume u are thinking of getting the player he was 5/ 6 years ago. Its a real shame but he can't stay fit. Says he's been available for last 8 months but still west ham who wer payin him a reported 100k a week didn't play him an now released him. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
