Afternoon bears a quick question which I honestly don't know the answer jones and Edmundson what was the punishment from the club? Also how long did it take the sfa to decide to ban them for 7 games? Just interested to compare the time frame between the 2 lads and the 5?

I believe Jones and Ed were fined the maximum two weeks wages allowed.
Also I read that they were banned 18 days after the offence was committed by sfa.

Think the only difference was that Jones and Edmundson were also banned from the club for 2 weeks.

Buffon when did club ban them, the were required to isolate for 14 days.

The CV 2 had to isolate for 14 days and were banned by the SFA on the 19th November for 7 games.
Unfortunately for these 2 it happened mid season and Edmondson especially would have struggled to get game time due to the CH's at our disposal. It was felt by Rangers that loans were the best option for these 2 at this stage of the season.
The CV 5 had to isolate for 10 days and were included in the match day squad as they were seen as valuable members of the group having been involved in a few games from The subs bench already this season.
The CV 5 will probably get banned next week, ruling them out for the rest of the season.

Hi Brian, i believe there are differences in this case, whatever happens it will undoubtedly to be the right thing, the fact Patterson played the other night is indicator of the club accepting the apologies and issuing its own in house judgement, the space will most likely do what it has to do in the circumstances whatever they may be,
As I said yesterday, Patterson had more to worry Bout at home,

Rangers also had no game between end of isolation and the ban beginning unlike the 5 due to international break so couldn't be recalled to playing squad.
